My fiancé and I have been bringing our dog Maple here for the last 6 months and are incredibly happy with the job that they do here. This place was recommend to us by someone at our local park, after having had some frustrations with the previous groomer we were using. She's a bernese mountain dog so she tends to have quite a bit of hair, but she always leaves well groomed, tangle free and smelling clean. I still have credit to this place, otherwise I would name it directly. At first I believed them, but after talking to other dog owners, I realize this happens often. More than anything, I was disappointed they didn't admit their mistake (perhaps so they could still get their money). My dogs loved it there, but because of a miscommunication on one appointment the owner refused to groom my dogs. She made an excuse of her English being bad, which was a cop out because I understand her just fine. She is very rude and refuses many dogs when she feels like it. We are so, so happy with Bubble Bubble! We had gone to the same groomer for years, and when she sold the business, we were at a loss for where to go next. I learned about Bubble Bubble from a online neighborhood group, and then a friend of mine confirmed the choice. The store is immaculate, which was a good first sign. We took our giant, senior standard poodle there, and they did a fantastic job in record time. We don't have her cut all poodle-y, more of a puppy cut, but they did a gorgeous job on her and paid special attention to her nails and feet. The pricing was right in line with what I would expect and the people there are really friendly. Our dog is a pretty easy going dog (well, she hates cats, but there were none there, lol) and she seemed very at ease there too. So I have been going here for the last 2 years! My dog is so easygoing and has a calm temperament. She is a 4 year old chocolate lab. I let the owner know she is done with her major shedding. I feel like she didn't hear me and honestly she didn't. I picked up my poor baby and she has a red rash down her back where they took a metal comb and get combing her to remove the excess hair but they did it so much that they rubbed her skin raw! To say I am upset is an understatement. When I picked up my dog I can see she is stressed and not herself. The owner put a disinfectant spray on it and gave me the bottle. She explained what happened and didn't seem too upset that her helper did that. I pay you to groom my dog. Oh yeah did I mention she charged me the whole price after what she did! Needless to say I will NEVER go there again and I will do my best to let other local dog owners know what happened! read more

I moved to the area about a year ago and tried two or three groomers none of which I liked. Then I came across Rosa at Bubble Bubble on Belmont Avenue. Rosa is very sweet and truly loves what she does!! I have two shih tzu's who get somewhat anxious when I bring them to get groomed. Rosa holds my babies and makes them feel safe and comfortable before I leave. She doesn't just grab the leash and take them to get groomed. Bubble Bubble is very very clean, and what I love most is that she grooms one dog at a time verses other places that keep your dog for hours because they are working on your dog and others at the same time. She is usually finished with one dog in about 1.5 hours. (but they are shih tzu's so if your dog is bigger it may be longer). I would highly recommend Rosa at Bubble bubble, she is a great groomer and really loves animals. read more

I had a great experience this past Saturday taking my Yorkie to get fully groomed! This place is clean no smell, and the groomer and receptionist are warm and friendly! Some places that I've tried in the surrounding area had terrible odors, they weren't clean and did a poor job! If you need your dog groomed go to this place. Rosa did a great job grooming my dog Sammy! We recently adopted Sammy so this was his 1st grooming. Since we hadn't groomed him before, we weren't sure exactly what needed to be done, but Rosa was very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss with us exactly what was involved. Rosa was extremely patient with Sammy and he was very happy when we arrived to pick him up. Sammy looked very handsome and smelled great too! The price for the grooming was very reasonable and included a shampoo and blow dry, haircut, nail trimming and ear cleaning. Sammy will definitely be returning for his next grooming! read more
