Accountability on me for finding a sitter for our 8 month year old British Labrador just a week…read morebefore Christmas. All the places my friends referred was booked - and we had a long planned trip we couldn't cancel - therefore decided to try their overnight service for four nights. Only reason I am giving two stars is because I am empathetic to the fact that my British Salvador is a puppy at eight months. I am empathetic that staffing, operations, micro and macro factors are in place that could affect the service. Outside of being empathetic I would give my experience zero stars based off of the below: 1. Came inside to pickup Chestnut and saw she was in a cage by herself, looked very lonely. 2. Took a while to get ChestNut out, and the staff forgot to bring the clothes and toys we had left for her. Took almost 10 minutes to find it. 3. Everybody knows her dogs. The one noticeable thing immediately was she was not herself when she came out - I think it's fair to say she wanted to get out immediately. She wanted to get out so bad it was to the point where she ignored me and my spouse and just wanted to get the hell out of the store. 4. When we were in the car, it took the whole ride until she was home for her to be back to herself. In the beginning of the ride - she was sitting all on the far side of across from my wife who's sitting in the back with her. This is very different from when she is always crowding us and hugging us and kissing us whenever my wife is in the back of the car. 5. We opted in for the Christmas photos. Forgot how much it cost, but it was at least $15 and we got an image where 85% of the Real Estate was our dog in the middle and you just saw some lights in the back and that's it. We expected Santa, we expected at the very least something to say, Christmas and letters - my six-year-old cousin could've taken a better picture. TLDR: 0/10 recommend holding your dog at Petsmart overnight, especially for multiple days and nights. If you ever do decide to use their services and it's around Christmas time, do not often for the Christmas photos. They are a scam.

I first met Erica in 2015 when I started working with her as a bather. I already had a little…read moreexperience in the pet care industry, but I had no idea that meeting her would completely change the course of my life and career. From day one, Erica welcomed me with open arms. She believed in me, encouraged me, and was always willing to share her knowledge. Through her academy, I completed a 500-hour grooming course that became the foundation of everything I know today. Erica taught me far more than just grooming techniques. She taught me about dog breeds, coat types, breed-specific haircuts, proper hygiene procedures, skin and coat care, hydration treatments, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and even how to safely perform anal gland expression. Every lesson was taught with incredible patience, attention to detail, and genuine care. What truly sets Erica apart is the way she teaches people to understand animals. She taught me how to read a dog's body language, recognize their fears and anxieties, help them feel safe, and handle them with kindness, respect, and compassion. She always emphasized that grooming is not just about appearance--it's about building trust and creating a positive experience for each pet. Today, I am a professional groomer and proud owner of my own business, and I can honestly say that none of this would have been possible without Erica's guidance, mentorship, and constant encouragement. She helped me discover my passion and my purpose in life. Working with animals is something I truly love, and I am forever grateful that she played such an important role in that journey. In all my years working in this industry, I have never met anyone who cares for animals the way Erika does. Her dedication, knowledge, patience, and love for every pet she works with are truly exceptional. She is not only an amazing professional but also an incredible mentor and human being. Thank you, Erica , for believing in me, teaching me, and inspiring me to become the groomer and business owner I am today. I will always be grateful for everything you have done for me and for so many animals. Highly recommended!
