I've been to bubble fish twice now. Most recently I came here while visiting Morgantown with family. We all got something different, so I was able to try a few things. I got the jasmine milk tea with boba, which was delicious if you love jasmine tea. I like how you can customize how sweet the drinks are. The other drink I loved was the fresh strawberry matcha latte with strawberry jelly. We thought the jelly was going to be weird, but it's actually star-shaped, chewy jellies vs a jelly at the bottom of the drink. Something I tried the first time coming here was the red beans instead of boba. It's just like putting frijoles at the bottom of your milk tea, so it's not my cup of tea LOL I would definitely come back here, especially to try some food next time. read more

Stopped by here because I was visiting the town and was craving boba! Bubble fish is a nice, clean store with really friendly stafff - it was my first time coming there and the cashier explained everything on the menu to me, which was cool + informative. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, dragon bowl, and a jasmine milk tea with boba, no sugar or ice. Starting off with the bowls - the flavor and textures of the chicken, crispy onions, carrots, and crispy onions all together were really good, and I couldn't get enough of it! The only problem I had with the dish was that the brown rice beneath all the good stuff was super hard and chewy. It was pretty clear that the rice hadn't cooked for long enough or wasn't cooked with enough water, and that was really disappointing because the rice was like...60-70% of the whole bowl. At some point I gave up on the brown rice because it took a good minute to just chew and swallow it. My dad got brown rice as well and left that untouched. I wish the rice were just cooked right; if so, I'd definitely give the bowl five stars! With the boba, I was pleasantly surprised. The tea flavor came through nicely but wasn't too bitter, and the boba was sweet and chewy. The boba was a little smaller than I expected, but that wasn't really a minus. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the boba! I'd even say it's on par with Californian boba shops. Unfortunately, the bowls need to get the rice cooked right, and until that happens, I can't recommend getting it. read more

It is disappointing to leave such a poor review for a place that used to once be a great place for poke bowls. Firstly, there is one specific employee there that has always been unpleasant in both her attitude towards customers and the way she has prepared food. Once overheard her say to another coworker, "oh you always give bigger portions sizes - I never do that" and proceeds to give the minimal amount of food (I've received full portions every time this individual wasn't working). Secondly, despite the price increase over the past year, portions have getting smaller not only like the poor experience with the previously mentioned employee but also with smaller bowls in which the food is packaged in, which literally forces smaller portions. It's very disappointing to be paying more for less food. Finally, they recently incorporated this new line item on their menu for an "extra sauce" charge. In the past, I would write on the ticket to please put in extra sauce in the bowl because the bowls would be dry with the regular amount they put in. With the extra sauce, the bowl would finally have an adequate amount. Now, you can't request extra sauce without getting an additional charge so you're left with the option of either a dry poke bowl or an up-charge to get a satisfactory amount of sauce in the bowl. When this place first opened up I was a regular customer with how great the food was, but as it has become more evident that they are more worried about cutting corners and caring less for their customers, I don't see myself going back any longer. read more

I always want the popping bubbles but they only have the tapioca pearls. Their matcha strawberry boba is super sweet, so if you don't like very sweet tea..I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl. I was excited about it Bc we have a poke bowl place in my hometown and I'm out of town for work for the week. The young man who helped me when I got there was kind and professional. After I pick up my food I head back to my hotel. At this point I'm ready to dive into this spicy tuna bowl. I start taking the first couple of bites and immediately my taste buds are overwhelmed by onions. Someone had to have put half of one in their Bc that's what it tasted like. I couldn't even enjoy any of the other flavors that I wanted to appreciate bc every bite was consumed with the taste of onion. At this point I'm just eating to eat something and realize that the rice is also over cooked. This is my first negative review ever at any place I've ever been.
