Their sand area is really neat with a huge whale right in the middle, love the ocean theme and extra little area that's filled with sand that the littles can play while being supervised. There is a swings area with a good amount of them so you don't have to wait for a turn and appreciated that. There are some swings that look like a chair really wish they had a strap for the little ones cause if you were to swing fast they can go forward and really get hurt so this one need to be supervised. The play structure has slides and tunnels and different musical items you can be creative like the drums, rain stick and even a flip the musical note and make a sound very neat. There are many open areas that you have to be careful if you have little ones but still fun. There is a huge area if you wanted to bring scooters or kids cars that they can ride around in a big circle. Love that they have bathrooms and a changing table they are a bit on the smelly side but in an emergency they are good. Very well kept and clean. Love that's it's gated that way littles don't go running off but over all this park is great for all age groups can't wait to be back.

The park was fantastic, pristine and spacious with a top tier playground. Felix's parents claimed a prime seating area right outside the playground, where we could eat and socialize while keeping an eye on our various kids. The set-up felt very safe and easy. I admit to losing track of my five-year-old for long stretches at a time, and once finding him in a piece of playground equipment with a group of children he didn't know, giggling as two of their dads spun them around and around. My two-year-old spent a lot of time in the sand with several toddler friends, pouring sand into a play table and also all up in their clothes. We brought our elderly basset hound Duke in a mobility stroller, and he got lots of attention, too. It was a nice outing for our whole family. I also couldn't help but notice that the park was right next to the Santa Monica Airport and other airplane-themed entertainment. We live pretty far from Marine Park, but I have a feeling we'll be back.

When we arrived a reserved sign and permit number was displayed on three picnic tables for our group. We had a nice area with shady trees that covered the grassy areas near the picnic tables. A BBQ grill was beside us; the Pavilion and the children's playground were a few feet away. The amenities are: - Baseball Diamond - Basketball Court - BBQ Grills - Picnic Tables - Soccer Field - Tennis Court - Parking Lot - Pavilion (shaped like a castle pink & blue), I forgot to take a photo) The park facilities, equipment and restrooms were clean. We arrived just as they started playing and we were still able to get pretty close to the stage. The crowd ranged from kids in "The Clash" t-shirts to old people in wheelchairs. He was supposed to sing until 8:30pm but he went a little bit over; however, the park employees stuck to the agreed upon time and shut the restrooms down around 7:45pm. I think porta potties were available. The issue with this park is the parking. Every year they host a big singer in the music industry for their summer concert series but they never have ample parking. I think the city needs to invest in shuttle service and rent out a big lot so people can park remotely and hop on a shuttle to the concert. They can charge a fee to park which would get more people to ride share. I did find parking at the Chase Bank for $13. I got there at 5:45pm. So hunting for parking shouldn't have been a thing. There aren't many trees there so make sure wear sunscreen and wear a sun hat. There were food trucks there for the event. I just stopped at Trader Joe's which is right next to the park. The backdrop is beautiful of the boats in the marina. I will still come but they need to address the parking issues.
