Needed my windows washed, so I called Bubbles. Their estimated wait time was from 1 to 5:00. One guy showed up at 1:50 PM, did not call or text to let us know he was on the way. Guy was on his phone from the moment he got to the house, and kept mumbling about the "high windows" in the dining room. In the 25 minutes he was at my home, he managed to turn on the outside water and bring in a short ladder. That was it. He was too busy on his phone to do work. After the 25 minutes or more, I told him that he was done, no need to end his phone call. I called the office to complain about the service, and they said "sorry about that, someone will call you later", which they never did. Rated at ZERO stars read more

We used Bubbles for window cleaning last fall and it was great, the guy showed up on time, worked like a demon and did a nice job. So, we had a good impression of the company and asked them to do our gutters - but that was a complete failure. We were originally scheduled for gutter cleaning on a Thursday, 1-5 PM. A little before 1:00 I got a text saying the crew would be there in 45 minutes (about 1:30). When no one showed up by 2:30 I called, and was told the texted time was a mistake, but the crew would be to us at 5:00. At 5:30 I got a call saying they would be there at 6:00. About 6:30 I called to cancel the order, but the office was closed. The crew came at 6:45 and I sent them away. The next day I got an apologetic call offering to reschedule for a morning shift (8-12) and give us a discounted rate. Being gullible, and cheap, I said OK. I got a text at some point during the rescheduled morning saying the crew would be late, and by 12:40 we'd had enough and canceled the order. So, they stood us up a total of 4 times. We'll never know if they would have done a good job because the scheduling process was completely messed up. read more

The service provided by Bubbles - for window and gutter cleaning was horrible. And the customer service almost as bad. We had used them in the past and they were fine. They sent an email asking if we wanted window and gutter cleaning services this year. I agreed to whole window (out side only) cleaning and screen cleaning as well as gutter cleaning. The previous year - the person who showed up did a great job and cleaned the whole outside of the windows and screens. This year - it was awful. A couple windows were missed completely, and the dead bugs - old moths and stink bugs and dust - were left behind in the space between the windows and the screen. They actually had to cross over the dirty strip to get to the window to clean it. I called to complain and was told if I wanted that cleaned - as part of the 'whole window cleaning ' I was supposed to have asked. I took pictures of the windows that were not touched and they agreed to send someone out and clean them and as a courtesy clean that 'track' part of the windows. While I was at work, they came back - my son was home, they asked to come inside and cleaned that track part of the window from the inside. Going from room to room opening our windows and leaving the dead bugs and dirt on the floor below. Since they worked from inside - which I did not authorize and opened the windows - some of the windows are now not shutting properly. We have older windows. I never wanted them inside to open them. Only clean from the outside as was done well in previous years. This window cleaning service is horrible and leads me to think the gutters are not done so well either. Ive use them before and the prices are reasonable for window washing. I had them power wash my front sidewalk and back patio about 300 square feet. The charged 450 dollars to power spray 300 square feet. the total time to do windows inside and out and power wash was about 75 minutes for one person. The 450 dollar power wash took 15-20 minutes. I called Bubbles to schedule a gutter cleaning. When they came, they dropped the debris from the gutter all over the side of my house. When I arrived home, I called to complain about the quality of their work. They sent another person to the house the following day to clean up the debris from around my house. This is the first negative review I've ever given a company! My friend/neighbor and I were looking for window cleaning/gutter cleaning services. She received her quote from Bubbles and shared it with me. I have the identical house! I sent them a text and asked for a quote stating my friend's address. They sent back a text with the same price. I asked for the quote in writing. The quote came back $140 higher with less services. I sent them a message regarding the quote. They lowered the price by $65. I then sent a message comparing line by line my neighbors quote and mine. They called me the next morning at 7:30 am and said my quote is based on my house and services. As I explained that we have the same house and that I would only pay what my neighbor is paying, they HUNG UP ON ME! Then they sent a note saying "thank you for pointing out our error to your neighbors quote" and they raised her quote by $230! Then they sent me a note they would only charge me the last quote to me - $490. I obviously replied no! I would never do business with someone with such poor customer service - someone that doesn't honor quotes - and someone that would HANG UP on a customer! Bubbles was great for window washing- check out my earlier review. But where they fell down for me is in their gutter cleaning. I hired them to clean out my gutters in the Fall. I told the woman on the phone that I had soft copper gutters and a slate roof on my old house. They said they knew how to work with that. Well let me tell you- they did not! They dented every single one of my gutters by placing the ladders directly on the gutters. With copper being the soft metal that is it, I now had ladder marks all around the house. When I called the owner(?), Veronica for it to be corrected- in the beginning she handled it perfectly- telling me her technician would come out and evaluate the situation. I waited for him to show up at the appointed time and he never did. So I re contacted Veronica and she was very apologetic and said that her technician had an issue but he would be out the following Friday. Well once again- no one showed up at my house. This went on for 4 more missed appointments. And then Veronica just stopped getting back to me. Radio silence. I can't imagine how a place that was so customer focused in one part of their business, could be so anti consumer on the next. And the icing on the cake? Turns out they had waited too long to clean the gutters so most of the leaves were frozen in when they attempted it. All that did was leave me with clogged and dented gutters in the Spring. If you want your screens broken while getting your windows cleaned, hire bubbles. And all they will tell you is that they will give you reimbursement for the screen damage, will take 0 responsibility to get it fixed and install it for you. They broke 2 out of my 5 screens on 2 different occasions and will take no responsibility to fix. I don't even understand why would they touch my screens to clean my windows. My windows tilt so all they have to do is tilt them and clean them. There's no need to remove my screens, other companies I hired do not remove my screens. read more

No reviews? What, do you people actually brunt the work yourselves? (...gets off couch and wipes crumbs from my face...) Well, we're new around these parts and frankly, we don't own a ladder yet. This house is tall and we were told that the rain was going to ruin our house... so... we called some gutter cleaners. We originally called a company (Pioneer located in Naperville) who left an advertisement on our front door. It was like fate. It appeared the same day I was planning to call around. I called them and guess what, message machine. That's like begging me to hate you. So, I waited FOUR hours. Called Pioneer back. Again, message machine. Oh, the hate. I moved on to this company, Bubbles. Well, the name is a little ridiculous and I am a little embarrassed that I wrote a check to a place called "bubbles" but let's get over that, shall we? Because... they did a great job! They came in less than 24 hours later and did exactly as I expected. The guy (It's hard to read, but I think his name is Carl Barnett) even gave me some advice on my roof (which I knew needed to be replaced and was honestly nervous to give me the news...) and answered some questions about a window I was curious about. He apologized because he was dressed down (um... you are cleaning my gutters and I'm the one still in PJ's), but I didn't care about that. I mean, I want my gutters cleaned, not an ironed shirt. The only recommendation I could make is for them to haul away the gunk. Instead, they leave the yard waste (in a black trashbag) for you to dispose of yourself. Of course, I don't care thaaaat much, but it would be nice not to have to deal with that. The guy left after 1.5 hours from our 2,700 sq. foot 2-story house (+ atttached garage) and I was pleased. We have 4 downspouts and they were all clogged = $5 extra for each... which I knew. With a coupon (go to their website) for $10 off, I ended up paying $120 for 1.5 hours of work and a job well done. I would use them again if I don't get off the couch and just buy a dang ladder already. Of course it took him 1.5 hours and it would take me like 5. But who is counting, right? Oh, and Pioneer... yeah, they called me back at 8pm. Whaaaat? Since when did calling between 12-4pm on a Monday mean that businesses shouldn't answer their phones? I have what window companies consider 70 windows and French doors. It took me 6 hours to do the screens. Perhaps I should let them do screens next time. I had my gutters cleaned last week and got an estimate for gutter guards. I thought everything was done right till I got a second estimate yesterday and found out that my existing guards were never taken off for the cleaning. There was over 40lbs of debris collected including 2 birds nests. Also they added an extra 50 feet of gutters for the estimate. This add an extra $800 to the estimate. I was looking for a company to clean my windows and screens so I searched Yelp and found Bubbles. I called and I was asked how many windows I had and was told it would be extra for my screens. I went ahead and scheduled them to come out and do the job. They showed up on time and did a good job, however they broke one of my garden decorations. I received an email from their customer service rep the day after the job was done asking me what I thought of the job they did. I explained I was pleased with the job, however I was upset that one of my garden decorations was broken and the worker never told me about it. I never heard from the company again...no apologies no offer to knock anything off my bill for the damage... NOTHING! If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most disorganized company I have ever encountered! I received a call on the day of my scheduled appointment that someone would arrive within 30 minutes. I was happy because I was originally given an 8-12 pm window. An 1 1/2 hours later I called and was told the workers went to the wrong address and would be there shortly. Well after several follow up calls two men arrived and said they were told to only wash the windows on the inside of the units of my condo association, but the job was for both inside and outside windows. I chose to reschedule because I could not verify if the original work order was modified by our management company. It was not modified other than adding more windows due to additional owners available for access in units and because of storm windows. It was a matter of poor communication between workers and the office. Our management company rescheduled for the following Saturday. Once again I received a call and was told the workers would arrive within 45-60 minutes. I followed up after 1 hrs and 40 mins and was told they were literally 10 minutes away. The worker arrived without apology or acknowledgement of inconvenience. He ignored me when I pointed this out and request to see the windows. He decided that he was only going to wash the outside of the storm windows and the inside windows. I showed the worker how it was possible to access the inside of the storm window by adjusting the screens and by folding out the inside windows. He flat out refused. If this was an issue it should have been addressed during the first visit when I took the workers around the building to count the windows for a more detailed estimate. I am highly disappointed and would advise anyone who is interested in getting their windows washed to avoid this company. They are the worst. read more

I hired Bubbles last year to power wash my house and gutters. They did a great job on cleaning siding that had never been power washed before. Because they did such a good job on the power washing, I hired them again this year to wash windows. They washed the windows inside and outside and cleaned the screens and window sills, all for a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with the job that was done.
