Great food, prices and a good stop. But on the weekends, the weekend they definitely need an attendant at the pumps. Nearly impossible to get gas. Tons of people parking cars at pumps in the shade while they shop so people can't get gas. Super frustrating. They need someone telling people to keep moving. read more

The customer service was terrible when we checked out the lady read a hat I bought which was Christian based, she read it and started throwing our items in bags, I made a comment and she said yea okay, asked her co worker when he was and started throwing out items at us to bag it, I said thank you and have a good night night she said said yea okay and through my receipt at me. Realistically, it's just barbecue in a gas station like that's cool and they have like cool souvenirs but I mean I really don't see why everybody is obsessed with it but I do appreciate the cheap gas so that is a three star for me. And I guess they do have food options not really healthy but they do have a couple healthier choices which matter to me. I mean they got the protein game lockdown so if you have protein goals, this is the place to go. I don't know. I'm just annoyed with the excess traffic but as long as it goes back to normal, I'll give you a three stars for the cheap gas and then no waiting on the gas but if you would like to engorge yourself with barbecue this is a place for you. Beware of this place. They have a zero return policy. It doesn't matter if you haven't even left the store, or if what you bought is broken. They won't even provide you with a store credit or gift card. It's honestly very messed up. They take pride in their american looks but I have never seen something like this in any store ever. I didn't even said bye to the cashier when I noticed I was being charged 4 times the equivalent of a product that was in a $12 section. Staff was rude ESPECIALLY the f@t white girl who's name i didn't catch sadly at the jerky stand who rolled her eyes and snapped at my family member when he simply asked if there was a better place he could stand or if there was a number he could take since staff had ignored him multiple times and cannot seem to manage a line or give a veteran who served this country a simple f'ing sample of jerky! They're doing their very best to service everyone, but because they just recently opened, you have to wait in line for everything even the restrooms at the pumps and even at the registers, they have great customer service. I really loved the spacious parking area. Each parking spot (not handicapped) has ample space around it after parking. Some parking lots are made smaller making it hard to get in/out of the car without bumping the car next to you when you're getting in or out. Although it was crowded inside, the aisles are spacious. Most of the various food lines moved quickly, except for the area where brisket or pulled pork macaroni was sold. We stood waiting for over half an hour and still not one person was served. We after about 45 mins we just skipped it. Big problem in my book. That's an area that needs to be corrected. That's the only complaint I have. I had a chopped brisket sandwich. It was deeelicious! Very meaty, it was perfect! The check-out was easy & fast. Employees were friendly and very helpful when asked questions. Can't wait to go back! read more

Never have I ever been to a Buc-ee's until just now, and I gotta say, it exceeded every expectation I had. Talk about the ultimate rest spot! The bathrooms were huge and extremely clean, tons of food, snacks, gifts and knick knack items, and the fact that nearly EVERYTHING has a Bucky logo on it is over the top impressive and really makes you appreciate all of the thought and work that went into this place. I bought 8 items for a total of $51, thought their prices were very affordable and fair, and their gas prices were solid too, with 120 total pumps! I couldn't believe it. The BBQ brisket sandwich was very tasty too, so many unique and solid food/snack items in here. This place is clean, friendly, efficient and fun. I can't wait to come back again. Only two things I'm not crazy about is how far it is from the general Phoenix area (very far west in Goodyear) and that it's positioned on the South side of the I-10, which is catering to the California folk coming to AZ for the weekend and such. I wish it was on the other side of the road, for us locals to make a quick pitstop for drinks/snacks/games/etc on our way to Cali. Oh well! read more

I finally stopped at Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about. After hearing people rave about it, I left wondering what the big deal is. The only reason I'd stop here again is the cheap fuel. Their diesel prices were the best I found on my trip, so I'll happily pull in, fill up, and leave. Beyond that, it just feels like a giant tourist trap. The store is wall-to-wall people, shoulder-to-shoulder, and I don't see the appeal. It's basically an oversized convenience store with a gift shop attached. The brisket? It's okay. Not bad--but certainly not worth standing in a long line for. I've had better barbecue without the circus. And can someone explain the obsession with Beaver Nuggets? I tried them because everyone acts like they're life-changing. They're not. They're just sugary corn puffs. I honestly don't get the hype. My biggest disappointment was the RV parking. They have dedicated RV/trailer spaces, but they're filled with regular passenger cars. Nobody seems to enforce the parking, so if you're towing a trailer, finding a place to park can be a hassle. That's a missed opportunity because RV travelers are exactly the kind of customers who tend to buy fuel, food, and supplies. Bottom line: If you're looking for inexpensive fuel, Buc-ee's is worth the stop. Fill up, maybe use the restroom, and get back on the road. As a Texas living in Arizona who still travels frequently back to TX yearly, this has always been must each visit --I do not leave without going to Buc-ee's. Now that it's here in AZ, I am so excited for this though I do live an hour away which is a bummer because I would go there everyday. Lol when I'm in the area best believe I'm stopping by. All my money goes there, never fails. I buy everything there. Restrooms are super clean. The gas station has a lot of goods from clothing to home goods. Great snacks and food to go especially the brisket sandwiches. Beef jerky is also a good one to pick up. Beaver nuggets is a must. The sweets are also good. I can't forget the nuts, I absolutely love roasted cashews! I can go on forever. The store is great! Amazing service! read more

Was super excited for the store to open. It's located very close to where I live. I have went multiple times, but this previous time I bought banana bread from them went home cut into it and in the middle it was not cooked all the way and it was Bucee's brand so I went back up to the store and try to exchange it for another one and they completely denied my request. They said they won't do a return or exchange and did not apologize for me having to waste my money on something that I wasn't even able to eat and I'm highly disappointed. My kids took me to Buc-ee's for my first time. It was fairly crowded but the lines moved quickly and orderly. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The fudge was good and varieties were abundant. We were impressed with the jerky especially the korean bbq flavour. They also had low sugar versions which was nice. The brisket was no joke and better than i thought. Perfect smoke, tender, and moist. My favorite item was the texas cheesesteak burrito. Unique and creative. The beaver nuggets were surprisingly good and lived up to the hype lol. Finally i could not believe how big and clean the restroom was. Well done Buc-ee's!!! read more

We have visited this store in Texas numerous times. It has been a long-standing family tradition to stop at Buc-ee's whenever we are on vacation. I am thrilled that there is a location in Goodyear now!!! The lines move fast and the staff are doing a good job keeping up with the disarray of the store. However, this location is already starting to not feel safe. The number of people and vehicles loitering in the parking lot, blaring rap music, flashing car lights, and basically partying outside their vehicles makes this location feel unsafe. It seems to be the new Goodyear hangout for tons of teens and young adults. I personally do not feel comfortable allowing my teen children to walk around the store without an adult. It's not IF something bad will happen, but WHEN. I hope this gets fixed, because I would love to make this store a frequent stop for me and my family. read more

Massive new Buc-ee's in Goodyear, AZ. Been to several locations in Texas and the newer one in Virginia. Got the usual suspects, beaver nuggets, brisket tacos and sandwich. Banana pudding and Key lime pie cup are good too. Restrooms clean but sense that'll change when you read my next. I guess my issue with this place is that the location is full of a microcosm of Arizona, in that inside the collective looks like half from CECOT in El Salvador and the other from the 85+ crew from Sun City West. Throw in a smidgen of truly bizarre individuals that you'd shy away from in Wal'mart and voila, you have this Buc-ee's. Security personnel here must have their hands full. Won't revisit, will save any future Buc-ee's stops for when I'm back in Texas. read more

went there today about 1:30pm on a thursday. no problems getting in to the property, and 75 to 80% of the 120 pumps were in use. there was parking but we ended up parking on the edge of the lot near the little dog walking park. There was no line to get in but there were tons of people there. I estimate around 400. very busy like Disneyland. We did a quick walk through some of the food, and merchandise. my wife bought a garden flag $10. I went and looked at the huge selection of Jerky but did not get any. The noise from all the talking, and constantly having to navigate a sea of humans I decided to get in line for the sandwiches. The line snaked around the area where they prep them, and moved pretty quickly. I was maybe in line 10 or 15 minutes. You just walk around and grab what you want. I got 2 chopped briskets, 2 pulled pork, 1 sausage on a stick, and 2 club melts. I found the wife and we checked out the restrooms. the men's room had 18 urinals, and 19 toilet stalls. My wife did not count but if the women's bathroom was the same size as the men's then I estimate there were 28 or 32 women's stall. All the urinals had floor to ceiling privacy, and all the toilets were enclosed closets with solid doors and no gaps. There were lights over the doors to indicate if they are in use. There was an attendant on duty cleaning while I was in there. The place was immaculate. I have never been in a men's room this spotlessly clean. We tried the sandwiches in the parking lot (it was 116° outside). contrary to what another "reviewer" has said none of the food was overly salty, or even slightly salty. The brisket was tender and had a nice amount of sauce on it. The pulled pork was very good and also properly sauced. The club melt had a sauce with a little bit of kick to it (which I liked). I tried the sausage on a stick when we got home and it is good and quite different from most sausages you get anywhere else. one thing to note is that there was little to no smokiness to anything we tried. All of it was good, and none of it was so bad as to throw it away like another reviewer lied about. The Checkout people were nice, friendly, and very efficient. prices for the food was well in line with the quality and generosity. as to the gas. I see people getting uptight that it is not "top tier" gas. ALL gas in the US is the exact same stuff made to the exact same standards. the only difference is that "top tier" gasoline has additives that different companies put in them. that is all there is to it. read more

Came in on a wednesday at 4pm plenty of pumps available found good parking easily. Was busy but not crowded. First, use the restroom.Plenty available took me a couple of stalls to find a clean one. What kind of disheartening based on the reputation, four employees in the restroom.Talking, maybe was their job to keep it cleaner. The store is what you expect.Plenty of items to buy, but some bear spots, bucees items readily available, not so much with the off brand items. The barbecue brisket is legit.Great jerky bar. Sweets and snacks readily available. Some are exceptional some are standard fair. The drink selection is over the top. Overall perception, the food and snacks are legit, the rest of it seems to be a hype. Gasoline prices were a little high compared to the rest of the area, once again as part of the hype. read more

I went here for the first time today I had to try it out and it's exactly what I expected. I wasn't impressed except they had like 50 gas pumps. Very busy very crowded. You walk in. You have to wait two hours just to get a lousy sandwich that's not the way these places are supposed to operate when you're going from state to state you wanna get gas going and get a sandwich a drink and come back out. Don't get me wrong, the facility is amazing. The patrons and I use the word loosely are totally disrespectful. I stopped in to get gas on my way from the airport-.60cents less a gallon than anywhere else 3.89 vs 4.49 so why save a few bucks. Massive gas filling area, with I don't know how many pumps. It was as if I were in a movie where all the people somehow disappear and the cars are left empty. 90-95% of the pumps had cars unattended. People use the the pumps as parking spots so they don't have to walk a few extra steps. Total disrespect for others that want to pump gas. I won't be back! read more

First time coming here everything was great the store is huge! The Brisket sandwich is so delicious! The only thing that I was upset about was the cashier who helped me, her name was TIFFANY! She had a bad attitude! She look like she was mad. I'm not even sure what this place is, or wants to be. Yes, you can get gas here, but if you don't go inside, you will totally miss out on... miss out on SOMETHING, though I have no idea what, exactly. There are food stations, drink stations, sprawling sections of random gadgets -- not even car-related, just gadgets -- and a small country's worth of Buc-ee's-branded clothes and random merch. I made the mistake of going on opening weekend, just because I was passing right by it. I walked in, walked all the way through to the far end, dodging elbows, trays of food, and small children (see why that Oxford comma is important?), and if I could have exited the far side, I would have, but they'd just closed that exit moments before. So I had to backtrack halfway to the side exit -- on the wrong side, but I didn't care. I could not stand to be in that building for another instant. I walked all the way around the outside, consciously decompressing from the harrowing experience. The adrenaline would ensure I wouldn't fall asleep at the wheel, since I had intended to get some iced tea, but left empty-handed -- never to return. read more
