If you are going for cheap gas, stop. Gas is as cheap at the Mobile across the street or HEB down the road If you are going to support something other than big-oil chains, stop. Buc-ee's is a huge chain. If you go for the experience, stop. The experience hasn't changed in the 10+ years that we've been going to the chain. If you're going for convenience, stop. Do a price comparison on anything inside the store to CVS or the Mobile across the street. If you're going for customer service, stop. Ask yourself what customer service you actually get, especially when compared to any of the other aforementioned stores. Better yet, ask for some customer service there and see if it happens. If you're going for coffee, seriously stop - It's weak water in a thin and fragile cup. If you're going for breakfast, stop. Three words: Rudy's breakfast tacos. They are just minutes away and sooo much better. Note to Buc-ee's corporate: My family were loyal customers for over a decade. We had frequented this location since it opened. Oh Bucee, I love you so! Gas is usually the cheapest around and if you have a chance the chicken salad on croissant is so good - yes really. I don't usually go for gas station food but this was good! What's not to love about Bucees? This one is small compared to some of the ones on the major freeways, but it's still got a decent selection of merchandise. I especially like the gas prices and discount if you get a carwash. The carwash is probably one of my favorite things about this Bucees. I've used some of the other drive-through ones like BlueWave, but this one definitely is better and longer -- and does a better job of cleaning my car. read more

However, the corporate office refuses to take responsibility for the repair costs. I paid for "The Works" and got "Worked Over." So I ask you. Bucee's #31 -Richmond, Texas - has charged me twice (Saturday and Wednesday) for a gas purchase I made over the weekend, tried to contact them several times each day since this double charge occurred but Bucee's will not answer the phone. And Bucee's also charged me for items I did not purchase. Keep all receipts and keep an eye on your accounts for duplicate charges. So sad:( read more

I went to store #31 today to buy eggs and cigarettes. I live 2 minutes away so it is very convenient for my family and I. I was denied the ability to buy cigarettes because the cashier (Britney) asked my age and then asked for my Identification. I handed her my passport and she told me it was expired. I didn't have my glasses on so I believed her and left to go to another gas station. Once I got home I got in the computer to renew my passport and realized it did not expire for another 10 years. I then went back to store 31 and asked to speak to a manager. I ended up spending more time and money because the cashier did not know how to read my Identification. When I asked to speak to a manager on duty, I was rudely asked to move aside for other customers even though I wanted in line again to resolve the issue. The manager on duty (Jenna) was called to the front and had the audacity to tell me that it was my fault and I should have told her corrected her cashier. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience she argued with me and said that maybe her cashier (Britney) had never seen a passport before and that they don't have to know how to read all forms of Identification and that I should have known the expiration date. Both employee were were rude and dismissive. No one apologized to me or my boyfriend who they also denied ability to buy the cigarettes because they made a mistake. I have been a frequent customer of this location since it opened 11 years ago and feel discouraged to continue to spend my money and a place that allows their employees to be rude to loyal customers... I have never experienced this before in all the years I have gone there and hope these employees don't run off other customers due to their lack of education on how to read Identification/ dismissive rude behavior. There is a gas station across the street and several corner stores in a short distance from this location.
