I was familiar with Buck Mason clothes from the internets, but I didn't realize they had a physical store until I walked by. I popped in, and it was overwhelmingly cool in here. The space is cool. A cool coffee shop in front. High ceilings, with one wall entirely covered in cool books, backlit so they look even cooler. There's a cool staircase leading upstairs to even more space pumping out different cool music from the cool music being played downstairs. The staff is so cool that it's impossible to tell who actually works there, but there always seemed to be someone cool around to answer any questions I had. I spent an afternoon wandering Soho with my wife, and this was the only place I liked anything. Buck Mason is a must visit store in SoHo. My date and I went to the Fast Times Café within the shop and got an iced blueberry rooibos tea and an iced latte which were both very delicious. The employees were very welcoming and the pricing at the café was definitely affordable compared to other spots we visited. The clothing selection was fantastic but you will have to spend a pretty penny for a stylish outfit if that's what you're looking for. They spin vinyl all day and we were in while they were playing Innervisions by Stevie Wonder, one of my all time favorites so that was a big plus. Also, let me tell you... the chairs inside the shop were COMFY - I could definitely sit in there all day. This shop gets the prestigious Wooly Throckmorton award of approval. Huzzah! read more

It's been a few years since I found a new brand (well, it was found for me, points to @jamielip for that) where everything really fit the right way and came in a lot of different, unique styles. Buck Mason brings the relaxed look and feel of clothes from Venice Beach to their small shop in SoHo, and the quiet, personalized shopping experience includes a beer or two (or three). The people that work here know the brand, and go the extra mile to help find things they think will fit you well and match your style. Everything they sell is nicely structured, made from sturdy and soft fabrics, and it's all pre-shrunk. So my new polos, tees, button downs, and henleys that fit and fall so well are going to fit the exact same way after I wash them, which I can't same the same about with most of my other clothes. Speaking of, the prices here? Extremely reasonable. I walked out with two very full bags of clothes (10 things) for around $500. Great for quality clothes, even better for a shop in SoHo. The spring collection is coming in the next few weeks, and I will definitely be back to check it out. read more

The item that was delivered is a good 1.5" short in every dimension, not at all what the Fit Guide says. Material is thin and nothing like the photos. I loved this store. It was raining heavily in New York that night, and my boyfriend fell into a puddle of water on the sidewalk so we saw Buck Mason across the street and ran over there. As we walked in, we were immediately impressed. The clothes were wonderful, but the staff that night was outstanding! A gentleman and a woman were working that evening in December and they were extremely generous. They offered us a drink and a lot of assistance so naturally we bought a lot of clothes. :-) No regrets. We live in Los Angeles, and had never visited a Buck Mason and now it's our go-to men's clothing store for jeans, stylish tee's and jackets. read more

High-quality clothing and amazing staff. Every piece I tried on hit in all the right places. The fabric is comfortable and high-quality with a variety of neutral/earthy tones and textures. The pants come in 34in inseams, which isn't an issue because they offer complimentary tailoring. Very happy with the jeans I purchased. Aaron and Evan were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. After a brief conversation about what I was looking for, they created a fitting room of outfits that looked good and felt even better. If you stop in, be sure to ask if they're around! So here's the scoop. I've been to this place three times. I dig the brand, and since it's close to my work it's a no brainier for dependable, high quality, well priced clothing. The value you get for the quality of clothes + the style, the vibe, all of it is just great. That's just talking about the the brand. Rarely do you come across customer service so good that you are just itching to write a review. This happened to be one of those times. The personal touch and the attention at this store is unparalleled. Brands live or die by the quality of the people who represent them, and they chose Brian (GM) to do that. The staff were helpful and friendly, and made sure to follow good COVID protocols to make sure I and the other customers felt safe. I am so fond of this store and it's quaint location on Elizabeth Street. The space is understated, minimal, and clean. The merchandise is well tailored, fairly priced, functional, and classically stylish. What's so great about the product is the material of the clothing. It's softness and unique colors definitely stand out from the rest. One can see it's high quality and craftsmanship when you pick it up and try it on; this is a nice departure from other competitive retailers whose clothing can often feel stale, rough and unoriginal. There is also genuine and non-instrusive customer service offered. Christian, the salesman, whom took care of me, was welcoming and warm. He even remembered my previous visit when they initially opened. Such a cool guy with positive energy. In the end, I bought two Henley shirts. Buck Mason shirts and khakis are the foundation of my wardrobe. The button down shirts are roomy and tailored at the same time. The darts on the shoulders give their shirts an unrestricted feel that you might only get by sizing up in other brands. Pants and shirts hold their size after washing.
