Our salesperson, Eric, was knowledgeable and patient, which made the experience positive. We left feeling good about our purchase and scheduled delivery for a week later. That's where the nightmare began. We received multiple confirmations for our fridge delivery scheduled for the following week between 9 AM and 1 PM. On delivery day, we got a text saying it would arrive at 2:20 PM, but twenty minutes later, we were informed it was canceled with no explanation. After spending the weekend on the phone with Best Buy customer service, no one could clarify the situation. We had already been two weeks without a fridge and were desperate. Another week passed, and again we were excited for delivery, only to receive another cancellation text. A customer service rep called and, due to a heavy accent, all we understood was: "No fridge, you must buy a new one." My husband finally reached someone in corporate sales, and we learned the truth: the delivery company had damaged our fridge. Best Buy had stalled for TWO WEEKS instead of being honest with us. We returned to the store and spoke with Eric and Sean, the store manager, who was professional and frustrated with corporate. He called corporate for us, but all they offered was $150 for our troubles. We spent over $1,000 on a fridge that was broken before delivery, waited weeks without one, and received nothing but lies. All we wanted was the fridge we purchased. Instead, Best Buy's corporate team left us without a refrigerator, failed to communicate honestly, and offered an insulting $150 for the inconvenience we faced. The only reason I'm not giving zero stars to the Rockaway location is that Eric and Sean went above and beyond to help fix what corporate destroyed. Unfortunately, Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have lost my trust forever. I will never purchase a major appliance from them again. Update: I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. After weeks of going back and forth with Best Buy and their incompetent delivery company, I finally gave up on the fridge I originally purchased and settled for a lesser model just to get something. We waited ANOTHER week for delivery--only for them to pull the same garbage again: cancelled 30 minutes before it was supposed to arrive. That's now FOUR Saturdays in a row they've scheduled and then canceled at the last minute. I've been over a month without a working fridge, my blood pressure is through the roof, my patience is gone, and apparently I can't even get my money back--so I'm stuck with Best Buy. This is beyond unacceptable, and I'm seriously considering legal action. Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have zero respect for customers' time, money, or sanity.

TL;DR: Was overpriced, but the repair went as planned and they fixed all issues in a week…read more Thoughts: I definitely paid too much to get this controller fixed considering the price of the exact same product on Amazon runs you about $114.99. I also read of some of the reviews on here and was worried by the amount of people that had bad outcomes getting this exact same product repaired. However, part of me didn't want to just throw the controller away and I also wanted to see if they could fix it properly. The controller was repaired perfectly for a 54% higher price than a new controller would have been and they did it in a short turnaround. I will definitely not get another controller fixed by Video Game 911, but I'm happy to say that they didn't screw this one up. Product: Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 Issue: Right/Left bumper did not work, the tripper stop adjustment tool had sheared off, and many buttons on the controller would stick (not physically, but remain actuated). Price: $24.07 to ship them the controller via UPS, $153.79 quote for the repair so $177.86 total cost. What they fixed in the repair according to the quote: - New back shell, paddle repairs, left bumper button replacement: $109.95 - Replacement faceplate: $16.89 - Trigger adjuster replacement: $26.95 Turnaround: Shipped to VideoGame911 on 06/26/23 and delivered back to me on 07/03/23. 7 days. Results: The controller is completely fixed. All buttons and issues are resolved and the new faceplate/backplate make the controller brand new.

They did such a great job on top of being very nice and patient that I had to write this even though it was awhile ago. I bought, more than a year ago, a small Samsung Galaxy notepad. It worked fine for what I needed. 2 months ago the "floating keyboard" was coming up constantly and I couldn't use the hard keyboard, as time went by it got worse and I was really frustrated and becoming angry. Went on internet to find out that I wasn't the only one having this issue and thought I would most likely have to buy a new note pad. Don't have money to throw away. First I tried Samsung and they really didn't help. They did steer me to uBreakiFix located in the Rockaway Mall. I stopped by just as they were opening didn't even say good morning and entered the store stomping angry and exclaimed that I wanted to throw to smash my Galaxy and throw it OUT the window (I work in NYC) and watch a bus drive over it. The fellow was very calm and assured me they will fix it. Both guys were trying to solve this issue and low and behold after about 45mins of trying several options they GOT IT!! they were kind, professional, persistent and knowledgeable and I would tell anyone who was reaching my level of Techno Distress to go to uBreakiFix at Rockaway for a technical "therapy" fix because I walked out smiling and it made my day!

The representative stated I needed to give him the passcode to my phone and it would be done in 2 hrs. I have had several people tell me before going, I would not need to give my passcode for a simple screen crack fix. I spoke to other screen repair places on the phone, they stated I would not need to give my passcode and there is a maintenance mode that is used during fixes to protect privacy. The representative was insistent the only way he would fix it was with my passcode and to just trust him. I left with my cracked screen because of how odd this was. Why not put my phone in maintenance mode? Why require my passcode where you could scroll through all my financial information, emails, passcodes, photos, convos. Why on earth should I just trust some random guy who refuses to fix a phone on maintenance mode when it is an option and is standard practice.
