I decided to try Buckabee Brownies when I was on my way to lunch and saw signs on the road indicating brownies, good advertising because it worked for me haha. I walked in and the place smelled great, it was very clean appearance and a nice display of brownies they have that day which is a pretty good selection. They also has samples which was a huge plus because I tried a sample of a brownie I probably would of never bought on my own and was pleasantly surprised how yummy it was. I bought a chocolate chip brownie and it was very good, no complaints on taste. I do wish the brownies were bigger, I think they are just really small. With all honesty As a buyer I would buy a larger brownie at double/triple the price if it was a hefty size rather then buying multiple brownies at a smaller price point. I really think the size teased me because it's a 2"x2" square which I ate in one bite. They do have edges of brownies in a bag and I think that's a decent amount for the price but unfortunately I never was a edge gal. Please please get big brownies because I love the change of dessert, that brownie. Most places around that area are cupcakes or cookies so it's nice to have something new to get sweets from! read more

I really wanted to like them, I really did. Surprisingly bland with no depth of flavor in any of the 12 brownies I purchased. They were dry and didn't seem fresh. And at $2 a brownie, far too expensive for what you receive. read more

I think the young lady that waited on me should have told me that the two brownies i purchased were hard and cold. I specifically asked if they had been bake that day and she told me yes, I got back to my car and bit into the brownie and it was hard and cold. I called her back and said these brownies are hard and cold and she said they are kept in the refrigerator and that they needed to be room temperature. I was very disappointed that she did not tell me that when I asked if they were fresh backed. I wouldn't have bought cold brownies. Who goes to a bakery and buys Refrigerated pastries. Great local business dedicated just to brownies. The brownies are always fresh and there is a good variety of flavors. They are not covered in heavy sugary frosting like most bakery brownies. Our favorites are the fudgy chocolate (very rich and high quality chocolate flavor), the marble and the raspberry white chocolate. The owners are very friendly! read more

I just stopped in after hearing about Buckabee a year ago when they first opened. I work around the corner and have been meaning to try it since brownies are my favorite dessert. The owner was friendly and accommodating. I opted for the coffee and two brownie combo for $4.95. I chose a walnut chocolate brownie and an oatmeal white chocolate blondie. I'm a chocoholic, but I have to say, the blondie was my favorite. So good! The coffee is excellent and you get a large cup comparatively. The price is a bit steep for the brownies for what you get, in my opinion, but it's worth it for the flavors and the friendly service. I'm sure I'll be back again soon. read more

These brownies were AMAZING. I tried three different flavors: red velvet cream cheese, lemon poppy seed (I was very hesitant about this one, but LOVED IT), and fudgy chocolate. My husband brought home a 9 pack of brownies from Buckabee a couple days ago. I had read about them in the news and he had noticed their new storefront. He chose 3 of each: Chocolate & Walnut, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and Marble. (I'm a brownie purist and requested he keep it simple with the flavors, and give me all the gluten!) When he opened the box I was surprised at how small the brownies were. I'm used to seeing over-sized desserts at most bakeries and restaurants. I will admit that I appreciate the built-in portion control. The size (I'd guess they're 2" by 2") makes them a proper treat rather than a gluttonous indulgence. However, I did think that $1.95 each is a steep price for such a small brownies. (If you buy 9, you only pay for 8.) The brownies are dense and delicious! I very much enjoyed them, and find myself craving one as I type this. Perhaps a smaller box would make the brownies appear bigger? All in all, I do recommend giving Buckabee a try. I love to entertain and am always looking for new dessert ideas. So, I was excited to find a brownie specialty shop in town. I purchased two large boxes of various flavors for my party, and they were a major hit with everyone who tried them. I think I only had one left! My favorite flavor was the Salted Caramel.
