This is an entire complex in the old Tangiers. This is part of the LeBron James Ipromise legacy. You can park in the garage. Walk in. There is a LeBron gift shop. A Starbucks with lots of seating and couches, a cabaret, a sweets store, a Bar, a large even space, and a restaurant called Buckets. We decided to try Buckets. We. Got there fairly early on a Saturday night, around 4:30 or so. Early dinner. Sat at the bar but there was plenty of table seating. Bartender waited on us. She very sweet. We got the feta cheese dip with pita. Honestly it was amazing! Light full of flavor and crunchy. You kinda need more pita. But this can be eaten as a salad it's that good! This is a winner I'm now going to make at home. For dinner we both got the 3 chicken tenders meal. Comes with fries, cole slaw, pickles, and corn bread muffins. Corn bread muffins are small but good. Tenders are big and look homemade. Fries were hot and crunchy. Pickles were good had a slight sweet then bite at the end. Cole slaw was decent. I had to pace myself. I ate the feta app, the muffins, the cole slaw, pickles, and a few fries, and a few bites of chicken. All I could do. It was a lot of food. Sauces come on the side. The bucket sauce is like a spicy ranch. It's good. We got our meal in some take home containers. The bar is good. Good beers on tap. Good alcohol too. Lots to choose from. As mentioned parking is easy, prices are OK, service was good. I like this place. Next time we try the burgers. This is definitely a good place for a date night or family. I guess there is 1 room that you need to make a reservation for and you eat like it's 1984. Seems fun! This is a definite repeat! read more

I love buckets! Great casual food space! Do not go here with expectations that this is fine dining... this is our neighborhood bar and grill and boy are we lucky! Favorite items: deviled eggs, chicken tenders, build your own salad, feta dip, and the brussel sprouts. Servers are wonderful, the price of your meal goes back to a great cause (the LeBron James family foundation), and the whole building is the best to hang out in and stay awhile! read more

It's nice inside, and it feels like a fun place to be. All the staff I encountered were nice. Especially the host and the staff who brought out the food. My table got a few different things to try. Mostly everything was good. Loved the flavors and everything came out hot and fresh. I did notice not one, not two, but three different hairs within the food we ordered. This did make it hard to give this place a 5 star rating. Other than that, I had no complaints! * Cheese Dip & Fried Crackers: 4.5/5 - this was such a unique dish for me. I have never tried anything like it. The cheese was thick and kind of creamy and went really well with the fried crackers. * 4-Piece Chicken Meal: 4/5 - Another really good menu item. The chicken had a crispy, well seasoned outside but was still juicy. The fries were even good. Loved the corn muffins! Overall, a pretty good choice. * Fish & Zips: 3.5/5 - nothing wrong with this! It's just a fish sandwich. Good flavor, fresh tasting fish. Not my first choice but still tasty. * The Godfather: 2/5 - 4 mini sliders of an Italian sandwich. The meat and cheese were good but it was so overpowered by the Olive Relish. I must say, I don't like Olives. So, don't be discouraged by my rating if you like olives and want to try the sandwich! Went to LeBron's restaurant, Bucket's in Akron in the old Tangiers location. Great remodel!! Extremely friendly staff!! They did a song and dance and Bella our server was super attentive. Finally made it to Buckets Restaurant at House Three Thirty and it delivered!! For you non-drinkers you need to try the Blackberry Lemonade. For starters we had the "Flag Bearer Feta Dip" and let me tell you it was the bomb, what a way to start off!! The fried pita chips were amazing!!! For entrees my wife had The Goat burger which was cooked to perfection and you're going to love the bun! I had the12-pc wings with Smokey bbq and mango habanero sauce. The wings are the large size and were very tender and tasty. Everything was delicious and on point, and the ambiance and atmosphere were great. I was traveling to Akron for work and this place was 5 minutes from my hotel and just opened. It was a cute place. Lots of parking. Service was good. I sat at the bar and the bartender/server was Ashley she was so friendly and attentive. I did a build your own salad and it was delicious. I decided to also get the mac and cheese. We are already thinking of who to bring next time just for these eggs. the sky isn't the limit, make your own salad. Warning this should be shared. It comes with toppings seperated on top but they will mix it together table side. lemon pepper chicken wings (6), delicious, butter flavored so they are not messy but you cannot order all drumsticks or flats. Akron hammer smash burger, has bacon and bbq sauce also comes with crinkle fries. 100% will order again. side of mac, decent size for the price. Well seasoned with pepper and paprika....we think. Couldn't put our finger on it but it was goood. Tip: If this is your first time visiting save time to explore! The restaurant is located inside House Three Thirty and the space has a lot to offer from a Starbucks and ice cream shop serving Mitchel's to lovely lounge spaces and a museum. First of All This is A Top Notch Restaurant! It was throughly designed and is really cozy and entertaining. The food was good. I only say that because I didn't like the dill in the fried chicken. We had quite a few dishes with the Brussels Sprouts where my Favorite. The chicken wings were good a Honey Hot Flavor. The Fish Sandwich was tasty. The Smash Burger was excellent. Each dish came with fries. The fried chicken bucket was okay if you like dill. The service was A1 and very friendly. We dined at the bar because we would have had to wait over a hour for a table. LeBron's restaurant is Perfect! The food is delicious and they can accommodate allergies very well. I got the Mac and Cheese as an appetizer but it could be an entree with how big it is. It was absolutely amazing, the only problem was there was too much! I shared it with one other person and had to get a to go box. It was great reheated too. For my entree I had the Akron Hammer Burger (Double cheeseburger with bacon) and dare I say it was a top 3 burger of my life?!?!?! For dessert I had one of the best restaurant desserts I've ever had, the cookie. It came baked in a pan (same size as the mac and cheese!) with caramel sauces and whipped cream. The vibe of restaurant was great, a nice sports bar feel. The service was great, our waitress took great care of us and made sure my brother ate safely with his celiac disease. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would. Make sure to stop by even if you're not going to the LeBron museum. Well done King James. read more

I would highly recommend coming in to Buckets! The seating is nice and comfortable. There are plenty of tvs and cool little things hanging on the wall. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. The Brussels sprouts are full of flavor! We got the peppers burger, bbq burger, fish sandwich, and the chicken tenders basket. Each item was wonderful! Our server was a pleasure to have. Such a cool place in House330! We went on their 4th day of being open. We had to wait about 30 mins for a table for 2, but we wondered around and checked out the store and the Sweet Shop. The food was delicious, we both got the 3 piece tenders meal, that came with fries, 3 mini-corn muffins, pickles, house dipping sauce, and Cole slaw. Everything was delicious, especially the tenders. We also split an order of mac & cheese which is served in a skillet and was amazing. Our server Chuckie was so nice and friendly. The entire evening was at best ok. This review is long just so can I rant and feel a little better. The wait was 45 minutes for a Saturday night was not an issue. It gave us a chance to walk thru the old Tangier. The decor was nice but it was just over a month old. There was a wedding party in the main dinner theater area and they looked like they were having a good time. If you have deep pockets you can spend $23 to see the labron james museum in the basement (I'm sure the money will go to charity since he doesn't need it). The main waiting are has enough seating and room to spend the time talking or playing a choice of board games. After being seated it took a while before we were welcomed and offered an opportunity for a drink order. The drinks took longer than it should to arrive. After having issues with this service I would recommend ordering two or three to rectify this issue. We ordered pickle chips and a feta dip for an appetizer after about fifteen minutes we were told they were out of pickles at 630 pm on a Saturday night. The feta came with 4 pita triangles and simple crackers. The dip lasts longer than the items to dip. During this time we asked four times for a water refill that came just after our meals came despite asking three different workers walking by. We ordered three different smash burgers and one The sky's the limit salad. Request for items with the burgers were missing and the salad came with items not wanted. The taste was ok and below average. After two hours and two water refills later we were done eating. We sat for a little and never asked if we would like a dessert ( not that we had time to wait for it). We left without and farewell for two of the workers at the front. I am ok with the way we left cause I didn't need any sugar coating for a place I will never return to and I will get the word out about our experience. read more

I had gone to the restaurant 3 times ahead of Saturday's event. I understood completely that they didn't take reservations, but each time, even the morning of the event, they assured me that they could adapt to that large number of guests (35). I knew they would be seated at different tables, but that was okay. I would pay for all with one credit card. I sent the group ahead of me based on what I was told before that morning. When I arrived, I found that it was not true. The manager on duty was NOT helpful at all, in fact VERY RUDE. My guests were in a line, but instead, the manager took others before anyone in my group. She did finally seat us in an area that sat many and where a friend of hers was already being served. A few minutes later, she said she didn't have a server available for at least another 25 minutes who would then be able to take drink orders. I admit that I wasn't happy and 1 person in my group responded in an inappropriate way to a young lady at the desk. I did apologize profusely. I asked if I could step aside with the manager to talk over the issue and look for an easy solution. I asked to speak to her boss, but was told that no one was above her and I was told no, she would not work out a solution.. I was told to leave or the police would be called. I gathered my group together and we left without saying anything to those waiting. I called at 4:30AM and left a message for the person in charge and expected a return call. Thirty-six hours later, I have heard not a word. I guess a group that would have paid over $1500 wasn't worth the trouble or effort. I was left with a group of hungry people. Thank goodness that Emidio's came to the rescue. I ordered 50 pieces of chicken, 100 jo-jo's 2 sheet pizzas, a full tray of antipasto salad and drinks. Thirty minutes later, I picked up a wonderful meal. A wonderful time was had by all. Too bad I couldn't welcome my MANY out of town guests to such a wonderful experience at Buckets. We had gone before and thought it would be awesome for all to have the experience that we had. Needless to say, I will not be back, nor will I recommend this restaurant to the many people who in my line of business ask where they can go for a great meal. Instead, I will recommend the Akron Family Restaurant or Emidio's. If this is how you train your employees to be successful in new jobs, they will not succeed. Too bad. read more

Went with three adults was told it was a 20-30 minute wait. There was a lot of open tables but understood maybe they were low on servers, we waited 45 minutes and went and asked when we would be seated. Hostess said oh you should have been seated but they never called our name to attempt to seat us. Once we were seated the server came up with lots of cheezy puns and talked to us like children. Again maybe this was just the environment...but based on the decor definitely not what we were expecting. The restaurant looks gorgeous and elevated. We all ordered chicken tenders and they were delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. But they were flavorless , no seasoning at all this is where we the disappointment started, the coleslaw was simply shredded cabbage, fries were basic frozen crinkle cut fries again no seasoning. Drinks were advertised as Pepsi on the menu and they had opened within two weeks of us visiting. Then when we ordered Pepsi the waitress said with an attitude we have coke products. Our waitress didn't refill drinks, or deliver our food. Overall disappointed for the price of the food and the hype around it. read more
