Pancakes were forgettable on every level, and small enough to be overlooked. Even the server said sarcastically, "I know, pretty impressive, right ?" when she placed the plate on the table. The pumpkin crunch waffle was delicious!! Looks nothing like the photo but the taste was a 10/10. The eggs and bacon were also cooked perfectly. We came in on a Saturday, it was very busy so be sure to call or book in advance. Our server was very nice too. The Vanilla cold brew is delicious, but it comes in a smaller mug. I made a to go order today and it was just ok. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty good albeit it could have used a tad more seasoning. What disappointed me was that they gave Smuckers syrup packs for the waffle. When I go to a restaurant I prefer to get sauces that are more home made or at least appear to be, and packets like this cheapen the experience. The butter packets were also very hard so I couldn't even spread it on the waffle. But perhaps it's all my fault. We wanted to try out a new weekend spot in Easton, and we're aware it would be busy. However, we were not prepared for how right the tables were packed in, it was uncomfortable. Other tables that were seated after us with similar party sizes had there food way before our party of 2. Then my meal came out as the wrong dish (a sausage sandwich instead of the chicken one). It was a quick fix, but I will say even with the correct meal, it completely lacked seasoning. And I did not get the promised pickle the menu states is served with it. The other meal we got was a special and had the same issue, it was blan, and flavorless. Not sure if the kitchen was too busy to handle service or what happened. Willing to try this place again, but it'll be a while. And I may bring my own salt and pepper, because the table was also out of that, another indicator other guests had the same issue. read more

Came on Friday for brunch with friends and there was a short wait, but we got sat quicker than they estimated. I got a Bloody Mary and my 2 friends shared a carafe of mimosas which was more than they needed. I got the gluten free pancakes- so excited to see this option. I got the gluten free goat cheese lemon pancakes and the were so good! I love that they came with eggs cause I always have a hard time choosing between sweet and savory for breakfast. And since I'm vegetarian, I was able to get a fruit cup though I could've chosen potatoes or grits. It was a tough decision because the grits looked great! My friends both went with Benedict one with a hash brown Benedict, which looked very good and I would like to try in the future and my other friend got the crabcakes Benedict. Lots on the menu looked interesting. Maybe a Benedict next time, and it was hard to bypass the seasonal al pastor Benedict. But they have sausage gravy and biscuits and I love them. Theirs are great: good biscuit, two tasty sausage patties, your choice of eggs, and home fries or grits. I went gritty, and eggs over medium. In my old age I discovered you can ask for that, a bit less runny than over easy. You can ask, but you'll almost never get them. Too many cooks don't know how to do it or don't bother, I guess. Joining the waitlist was a simple online form and checking in the host was standard process. The dining room feels like a standard brunch place. Carl B was our server and he made this first experience of this restaurant a great one. He was ready with recommendations, attentive to our needs, and truly seemed to care in his check-ins with us. My sister got the Southwest Scramble with the City Grits, her boyfriend got the Bacquezo Omelet with potatoes, and I got the Smoked Salmon Benedict with potatoes. Everything was Amazing but I truly want to comment on the City Grits. Have never had grits made like that before but will be trying to recreate them at home for sure. So good!! This was one of the best restaurants I have tried in Columbus. I'm not sure why so many people have left negative reviews. The food heavily draws from Southern cuisine, and it is absolutely incredible. The server we had recommended the Bourbon Street Pancakes but with french toast instead of pancakes, and it was amazing. The cocktails were delicious too. This is more of a "trendy" restaurant, so if that isn't your preference, I would skip it. They also do not accept reservations, but you can join the waitlist, and you'll get a text when your table is ready. My friends and I just hopped on the waitlist, did our shopping around Easton, and then grabbed some brunch. Our server was wonderful too - super helpful, very friendly, and provided great service. We arrived right at their 7 am opening on Sunday, and beat the crowd by 3 hours. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service from Kelsey. They have many options for a boozy brunch (or early breakfast). After coffee, we chose the Champagne Mule pitcher with copper mule cups. Morning cocktails include Bloodies & Bubbles by the glass or pitcher. I did not see a mimosa flight on the menu and Kelsey confirmed they do not offer. It would be great with the different flavors of mimosas on the menu. I downloaded their app ahead of time and received an email offering a free half order of biscuit beignets. They are 4 minis with honey marmalade. They taste great and are filling. They have lots of unique dishes surrounding eggs, pancakes, omelettes, French toast, waffles, etc. I had their Street Corn Scrambler and subbed chorizo for chicken. You can get either grits or potatoes as a side and I got the potatoes. Yum. They started filling up before we left. There is plenty of seating. The ladies' room was clean. We will definitely return. Every time I pass by Another Broken Egg Café, the lines are out the door, so I decided to wait for a weekday and give it a try. On a weekday we were seated right away and we had the nicest server name Ray who made some amazing suggestions and tempted my taste buds with the cinnamon roll French toast. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the right option for you but the fresh berries, sausages, and eggs, balanced it out nicely. Everyone in my party ordered something different, and each plate including the kids plates looked even more appetizing as the next. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean, the servers were great and there's plenty of parking close by. I will definitely return to try more of the amazing choices on this delightful menu. I am not a breakfast person at all, if I don't have breakfast I don't really care, AT ALL! But if I come here to have breakfast or brunch, I know I'll enjoy it. This is a cute restaurant, with a nice vibe and modern structure, the lines can be long to get a table but if you don't mind to wait, just do it. Even though my food was not amazingly good (maybe this one is not the best they have) I enjoyed it but being honest is a weird version of huevos rancheros, I expected something different, but it was not terrible. Well... where do I start? Our server came to the table and asked if we wanted water and coffee or another drink. She didn't give her nam. There were two of us and we said yes water and coffee would be fine. She then brought two waters and one coffee. Had to ask for the second. We placed our orders and I ordered the Louisiana gumbo. It was horrible! I counted three very tiny shrimp and a tablespoon of rice in some nasty brown gravy. There was supposed to be crawfish but I couldn't find any! So I asked to have that returned and she asked if I wanted another menu item. I decided on the Apple crunch French toast. The menu item was supposed to come with two eggs. Since we were leaving, I just asked her to box it to go. When I came home, there was some burnt toast with what looked like canned apples on top and no eggs. I tried to call the restauran. There was a long message about how to get seated that ended with you cannot leave a voicemail message because the mailbox is full. No human being answered the phone. This was my first visit and my last visit to broken egg cafe, excuse me, another broken egg café.
