Thank you to the others that left reviews! I called a bunch of spa companies and left voicemails looking for repair service. I actually got a call back from this one. When I asked if this was the company out of Zanesville, he did not answer until I prompted him again. I then let him know that I decided not to do business with them based on both their negative online reviews and political propaganda posted on their Facebook site. Well... I should have read these but I was desparate. I had a massive leak and called this company on an emergency call. $250 trip charge and $600/hr. He repaired the leak but told me I needed 2 pumps at $2200/pump plus ozone. $7k in total. This didn't sound right so I called another company and found the pumps and ozone are in perfect working order. This guy is ridiculous and a thief!! DO NOT USE HIM!!! read more

Do not use this company (I should say, man, as it's just Brandon), find someone else. Brandon told me he would be getting to my pool as the last job of the day and at 4:30pm I get a call about his status. The brother talked a lot, in a bizarre way (asked me what the weather was doing, that he hadn't eaten all day, etc). He said he needed to finish what he was doing and eat and then he'd call to let me know. At 6:30pm, I called to reschedule. It was too late and too dark for him to be successful. Both phone calls left me with a strange feeling so I decided to really read the reviews for him... Wanting to show up late - check. Charging his hours unscrupulously - check. Wanting to oder parts and come back a second day, charge for a second visit - check. (He charges $150 for showing up, plus $150 per hour, and "1 minute or 60 it's $150." Meaning if he works 90 minutes you're getting billed $450). After sitting on this overnight, I decided to cancel with Brandon the following day. There was just something off. Regrettably, I didnt get him, but the voicemail... and oh my God. He called me back to chew me out! What?! I was "taking money out of his pocket and food off of his plate." "Thanks for screwing me out of money." Our conversation was absurd. I am leaving this review because of that return phone call. Similar experience as to the others here. I wish I had checked these reviews first. Charged me the $300 trip fee and $150 to tell me that I needed a new pump. (My pump is only 18 months old.) I asked him to look to see if there was just something stuck in there causing the knocking sound, and he refused. Insisted that he was positive that the pump was shot, and it was a $4000 repair. I Youtubed how to check for debris myself, and sure enough, there was just a small piece of plastic in there. Now it works fine. He admitted to me while he was here that if he gets to a job and the spa is recessed in a deck or patio, or otherwise more difficult, he sets outrageous prices hoping the customer will decline so he can just picket the trip fee for doing nothing. WARNING!!! Do not use this company. Owner is unscrupulous and does not care about customers. Brandon from Buckeye spa Installed a defective motor and refused to come back out to replace it without charging me a trip charge and hourly rate. Had to get a second company to diagnose this issue because - an hour after doing his very expensive repair (bill was $1500) the breaker started tripping. When I called Brandon, he insisted it was something else causing the problem. Then after a different repair person diagnosed it as the part installed by the buckeye spa/Brandon. He said that the paper I signed stated that parts and service are not warrantied Then he said he'd do me the favor of coming back out to replace it, but with the trip charge and hourly rate. Also - his website makes it seem like there are locations throughout Ohio. That is misleading. He is out of Zanesville and thus the excessive trip fees he charges and hesitancy to come out and take care of customers that have issues with his work. If you have more questions, just look at the many BBB complaints that have been filed against him. read more

Move on and avoid this guy and his business at all costs. Terrible customer service throughout from the lack of keeping his appointment times and conduct throughout his service to expensive "service" call. He charges by the hour and is very talkative during his repair call (which is costing you money because he's charging you by the hour). You are better off calling anyone else...trust me. Brandon has lived up to his "Let's go Brandon" namesake. I highly recommend against using this company. There's an obvious trend here - reference John M's, Jennifer F's, Katy B's, and Jay A's comments below for Brandon's antics - cut and paste them into this post - they were the exact same including not having eaten all day and his incessant Tourette's like corrections about 'it's not a hot tub, it's a spa'. Give that a rest already! It's not the Mars Rover or brain surgery we're talking about here. I'll add that we wound up using his services before we discovered the absolute clown show he is as a business owner and service provider. He's a talker and charges you for being his "captive" audience. We were in a panic about getting our "hot tub" repaired. After spending just over $4000 for repairs, he treated us as follows. We had purchased his chemical kit that he raved about to "protect our investment," and it came with an instruction sheet which outlined the prescribed chemicals and daily schedule for application. He instructed us to do this ritually everyday even if we're not using the "SPA". The kit should last about 3 months at which point we buy another kit from him for another $250-ish. Fast forward about a year to the present. We lost that instruction sheet that outlined the cocktail of chemicals so I foolishly thought I could simply give him a call to see if he could email a pdf/copy of the sheet. Of course it went straight to voice. He returns my call about 3 days later and asks what I needed. As I'm explaining that he had repaired our "hot tub" and he, in his knee jerk reaction, corrected me by saying "SPA". No, it wasn't a Twilight Zone episode - it was real life. The gist of the conversation was he wasn't going to send me a copy of the instruction sheet because "it sounds like you need a new chemical kit" because the chemicals are old after a year - he said the instructions came with a new kit and that I wasn't being loyal to him. YGBSM! I spent $4000 and this guy's customer service is so horrendous that he won't assist me in this. He said I was looking for "a freebie." I never called him any names or cursed at him, yet this is how he responded to one of his customers. He lost any potential future calls for service from us. Please avoid this guy until he learns what capitalism means. Our hard earned money talks/walks! He said I wasn't being loyal (or something) and that it sounded like I was buying chemicals from someone else. I work to provide for my family, not to keep "Brandon" in business. Look elsewhere. This guy is pathetic! While I'm at it, I'm beginning to wonder if every business in the "hot tub" or "SPA" industry is full of snake oil salesmen. We purchased our "hot tub" from Master Spa out in Wycliffe, OH. They too were atrocious from shortly after the point of sale through their warranty claims (which they did not honor). The "hot tub" broke down after 5 months of usage, and after they wouldn't fix it, we had to call around for repairs. Brandon was quite literally the only guy who would/could come. This is the first and last "hot tub" we will ever own. Not worth the hassle of purchasing and maintaining, especially when you have to deal with numb skulls like these. Warning: the owner will charge you an absolute fortune for ANYTHING with a hottub. He came to my home and "fixed" the hottub for 3,000 (!) said he was the only one that could do this.. I doubt he put ANY of the itemized parts in the tub, as he is such a scammer. It DIDN'T work after he left. We called him.. no joke he said - his work or parts are not guaranteed. Do yourself a favor- call someone else, anyone else. I recently had this company come out on 11/10/16 to repair a leak in an old hot tub.  Think of this as a last ditch effort to get some extra use out of my worn out tub.  During the visit he upsold me on a new filter, new spa chemicals, and some ozone thingy- $625 in all.  All of these things I would have needed had the leak repair been successful.  The repair itself went well enough so I wrote the $1225 check and that was that. The tub couldn't be started for 24 hours to allow the glue to set, but when I filled the tub and turned it on it immediately ruptured pipes further up the line.  I took a shot, didn't work, tub condemned.  Since that day I have been calling every day because I would like to return the items I bought but now have no use for.  Nearly a week later when I finally got a hold of him he said that he would not accept returns on anything, even parts I haven't received yet.
