This tasting tour was great, although there were some pros and cons. We did the combo tour so we went to a winery, distillery, and a brewery. The pros: Our tour guide/bus driver, Don, was excellent. He seriously made the whole trip. He was so kind and helpful and fun loving, he was a great match for our group. The wine tour was excellent we had an extensive tour of the grounds and they make their wine. It was the best tour we got the whole trip. The brewery had corn hole which made a great activity as our day was winding down. The pub lunch was great and had choices for everyone. Cons: Definitely overpriced for "tasting tours" when out of the three places when we only got one real "tour". Pretty disappointed and we all wished we got actual tours of the distillery and brewery since that is what we paid for. We didn't get to stay at the winery very long or hang out before we had to leave-- we thought this was the best location out of all three. read more

It was time to celebrate a birthday in our group and we had some ideas; however, our first issue was transportation. Tastings and Tours has a well rounded program. We were able to take the train from Center City to Doylestown. At Doylestown, their driver - Linda (actually the founder) was there to greet us. Leading up to the planning of this event, we worked with Linda and had a very good experience. She knew the area, suggested eateries and talked about the country side. All this just added what I call "free extras" to the already low price. Plus there are shopping baskets, bottles of water, and storage cases for new wine while on your journey. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5. Our biggest concern is who we would sit with on the bus; however, after the first stop everyone was loosened up (the first stop allows you to pour or own samples!) and the conversations just started rolling out. As a surprise for my wife's birthday, we got a group of seven people together and signed up for a Bucks County wine tour - and we could not have been happier with the experience. Everything from working with Linda to solidify our pick-up time and location, through our drop-off at the end of the day could not have been smoother. Rich was our tour guide and made sure we had a great day. Every detail (water on the bus, information about the wineries, background on the area, etc.) was covered above and beyond. You will visit three wineries and a restaurant for lunch, but the day did not feel rushed. We were tired afterward, but we felt as though we were able to spend a good amount of time at each place. You also get a lot included in the tour package (comfortable transportation, wine visits and tastings, two-course, sit-down lunch - the only thing not covered is any wine you buy and gratuity for the tour guide), which was awesome! Regardless of your group or event, I would recommend spending the time for this tour. Our group is already talking about planning another trip for next year! read more

I planned my sister's bachelorette party with Tastings and Tours for this past weekend. What an incredible and easy experience! Planning the tour with Linda via email was super easy and it was great that every person could log on individually and pay their own way, so I didn't have to worry about collecting or fronting money for anyone. At each winery we stopped at, we were greeted and treated like royalty. They had everything set up for us and we had SO many tastings at each place - way more than I am used to getting in Temecula, Napa, or Solvang. Our driver Rick was great and really helpful throughout the tour. We had a little delay with our bus due to some issues with the doors, but Rick and Linda more than made up for it by providing us with a couple bottles of wine to enjoy with our scheduled lunch. They really know customer service! I would absolutely use them again and I really am looking forward to scheduling a Cape May tour with them one day. read more

Great beer and atmosphere. There a lot of flavors and that is great for hop fans. The owners are Villanova alums and being a SJU fan that could of been a deal killer, but it wasn't. I've done two tours now with Tastings and Tours. The first was with all couples last year and the most recent was my bachelorette with a group of girlfriends. Each time was an absolute blast. The wineries are great and each one is unique and special in their own way. Even those in our group who aren't adventurous when it comes to wine had an awesome time. The cost is well worth the price and all you have to do is pick a date, show up, and have fun! The tour includes wine tastings/pairings at three local Bucks County wineries, lunch, and transportation. Unless your group is able to fill up a bus DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have no sense of customer service or common decency. I called in May and spoke with Rich, wanting to reserve tour for a group of 4. I reserved for October to Cape May for my sister's bachelorette party. I come to find out now, mid-September, that they bumped us off because they had a large group make a reservation that would fill up the bus. No one called me to let me know, I was the one that reached out to finalize the reservation and got the news. NO apology, he literally said he "was running a business and had to give priority to the groups that would fill up the buses." To add insult to injury, only after letting him know how dissatisfied I was with the customer service did he bother to try and find an alternative, and made a "gaurantee" to get us on a tour in Bucks County as there were still seats available, to then take it back an hour later. Then he "guaranteed" a spot in the Lehigh valley tour, and took that back also 30 minutes later. What a joke! They obviously don't care about their customers, just their pockets. Now I am left scrambling to find another company a month before the event. read more

Good tour. I first went on it for a bachelorette party with a bunch of girls. Second time was with my husband. The only disappointing part was that I literally visited the same three wineries each time, in the same order, when they advertise having a rotation among a few other wineries as well. It's definitely worth going once to learn how wine it made and try new things. Some of the places have good appetizers or food samples also to try with the tastings. Exquisite and professional! I have never heard of Bethlehem PA but decided it was a shot to trial this tour of vineyards. I was blown away by the attention to service and detail. Rich made us feel like family and he really took interest in our guide and knowledge of wine and the vineyard choices. The lunch location was phenomenal along with the vineyards and their wine. Every recommendation he also guided as far as hotel and restaurants in the evening were spectacular. You will not be disappointed with this tour, if anything you will be rebooking before you leave! I wish there was a way to give this tour a bonus star for just being way beyond expectations! Rich is one of the guides; his family owns the business. He was prompt and professional when setting the tour up, and then was fun, funny and engaging and felt like an old friend on the tour. He played music we requested and joined my group with the others seamlessly so that we all felt together on a fun wine adventure. He was great at making us feel VIP as well. The quality of his relationship with the wineries is such that we also felt VIP at the wineries because it seems that they take care of Rich'a people. Each place had food pairings so you had very good snacks/cheeses throughout the day plus an excellent lunch (we were on the LV/Berks tour). Each winery was nice and we got a huge menu of wines to try. This was such a great experience that we intend on doing the beer and distillery tour and maybe another winery location (new hope or cape may also offered). I can't imagine any other wine tour company being this good. I did one in Oregon, and while the wine was spectacular and the driver nice, the tour service itself absolutely pales in comparison to this one. You get way more than your money's worth on this full day outing of wine and food! read more

We booked a Leigh Valley Wine Tour my friends bachelorette party and seriously had an awesome time! We had Dave as our guide and our personal photographer. What a great guy! He was always making sure we were okay and gave us some great information about the area and the 3 different wineries we were going to. Lunch was absolutely AMAZING!!! I got the crab bisque and the crab cake panini... HEAVEN!!!!! I am not a wine person, or at least I didn't think I was until this tour. I bought 4 bottles of wine, some wine glass charms, and coasters! Everything is locally made and 100% fantastic. If you are thinking about doing this for one minute, DO IT!!! 2nd time doing this tour with 2 different groups of friends. The first time was Memorial Day weekend, this time was mid-October. Both times were enjoyable and great value for the price! Transportation, lunch & 3 wineries were included. The wineries were charming with apps or chocolate. Also,a great contrast of small, family-owned vineyards to a larger, more corporate one, similar to something you'd find in Napa. Lunch was yummy and the drivers are so friendly & helpful!
