First order, 2 meat plate, Chicken & TriTip, Steak Fries, Mac n Cheese. 2nd order, 6 Ribs, Steak Fries, Corn Bread. Order as take out. Asked for extra BBQ Sauce. We were given 2 SMALL containers of sauce for 3 different servings of meat! Fries were covered in 'store bought' Seasoning Salt and shoved in a small brown paper bag that was closed with tape and had to peel the fries off the inside of bag! 1 bite and we both tossed the Fries. Son said the Mac n Cheese was stuck together and lifted the entire serving with his fork! Said Boxed Mac n Cheese tasted better. 1 bite and it was tossed! Chicken, Dry, chewy. TriTip, dry and chewy. Ribs, DEFINITELY not fall off bone tender & moist, very dry and the more you chewed, the bigger the wad the meat got! The BBQ Sauce was not sweet, nor did it have the tangy kick, to be honest it didn't have any real flavor. The corn bread wasn't bad. My friend wrote something on the wall as a joke and got caught. He arranged with the owner to paint the whole bathroom and took time off to go in days later when he was suppose to do it. He showed up and nobody was there. He left his number and wanted to make it right. We have been there several times since and spend money every weekend here. We came in tonight, ordered drinks and met up with friends. All of a sudden the security guard and bartender decided we needed to be thrown out in front of everyone and did not care about the fact that my friend had tried to make everything right weeks ago on the time and date they told him to be there. Went tonight for a birthday party , we had 20 people and made a reservation, they were very accommodating, had a large section reserved for us upon our arrival. They had live music and even some instructional line dancing. The service was very good and the cocktails were on point . The bartender Ria was very helpful and even offered suggestions off the menu. We ordered ribs with beans and cole slaw and a side of cornbread. All of the dishes were delicious. But the CORNBREAD !!!!.. OMG. This cornbread was the best I've ever had. I mean I would go just to get that lol. That being said we had a great time and definitely recommend this place for a night out or a good meal. read more

I've been coming to this place for years now and have seen some scuffles. But what transpired over this last weekend Saturday night was absolutely atrocious the bartender came out from behind the bar to personally assault a patron and her husband or boyfriend assaulted another patron that was just trying to leave. As the manager just stood by and the security just looking on and did nothing to help these people. If this was my establishment that bartender in the security team would be fired on the spot and charges brought up against the bartender I will never go to this establishment ever again and I will tell all my friends and family to never come in and tell new management and security is provided. Surprisingly this place is Absolutely Fantastic! When you look at the business you think line dancing & drinking... They have a full menu and the cook is on point! Went there for my coworkers promotion dinner and enjoyed the food so much had to order to go for date night. The Crab Cakes with Wasabi slaw are so crispy on the outside and tender in the middle-I am a repeat customer!! Had the sandwich1st time then had them as the munchie the 2nd time... Cj had the cheesesteak sandwich w/ a side of waffle cut fries. smh it tasted soo good like a mouth watering Philly cheesesteak from back east. We thought we would need extra so we ordered the BBQ 9' pizza with brisket- meat is soo tender and flavorful BUT we were so full we ate that for lunch next day!!! Came here recently in September for another night out for a birthday AND WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN. I DO NOT SUPPORT RACISM We asked them when the DJ comes out and plays different music (they are known to have music change around 11pm) They told us they were not changing the music and that this is a white people bar, a country bar, by a security/bouncer. Another security on our way out said he didn't understand why they said that as they always change the music around 11pm. Very ignorant behavior, we had White, Black and Hispanic people in our group. I'm sure this will go nowhere. This use to be my husbands and I favorite place to enjoy our Saturday night. Now??? The whole menu has changed and not for the better.... yall took off a lot if iconic items off the menu. The atmosphere is not what it use to be, the waitresses use to care about the tables they waited on, now? Nothing. We had to ask our waitress almost 5 times for silverware for my meal, my husband and i may not be coming back to this bar and we will make sure we tell our friends about how far low this place has fallen after for well over a year we have spoken how this place is the best thing to happen to the antelope valley. Started to come here a lot as the wife loves to line dance. I used to like the instruction but they the instructors now don't do the best job as they talk like they are not comfortable leading a group and do not take the time to explain things. When the dancing does start you can tell they really like to show off themselves rather than focus on the customers. I highly recommend the food and drinks. Music is good and the workers are great. Went here for the first time tonight! Leanna the hostess was so helpful when we first arrived. She showed us around and allowed us to pick our table. Our server was great, drinks were delicious! When we first arrived there was a live band that I really enjoyed, and then they did line dancing including a lesson. The instructor was the best instructor I have experienced. Had a blast! We love coming here for the fun. The staff here are Extremely racist. It's sometimes embarrassing to bring our friends as we have lots of friends of different races we love to go out with. But we make our own fun with the cheap beers and music. And the actual people there to party are very welcoming. There's one girl who works there who gets irritated if you don't do her line dances right, and she's a bit over the top. But- we always have a great time despite the racism from the staff. Because we usually pre drink at Zeldas before so we get the LEAST staff interaction when we come here. And if we do need to order drinks, and they give us a hard time. they just don't get tipped. We make our own fun wherever we go. But this place is pretty fun. We love the vibe from other dancers. read more

This place used to be one of my favorite spots. Their prices are a bit high, but I never used to have much of a problem with it because at least Their food was good. They used to have individual portions, shareable portions, and family sized portions. Typically, I used to get the shareable 3 meat with 2 sides. It was pricey but a decent amount for 2 ppl. Last night I called in an order for my usual, and proceeded to go pick it up when it was ready. I was SEVERELY disappointed when I came back home with my food and opened it up out of the bag. First of all, they now charge the 3 meat w/ 2 options sides (same price) for not shareable portions anymore... but single. The meat options were much smaller, and the sides were for 1 rather than 2. So basically, shareable prices for single portions. As if that wasn't bad enough, I had ordered 2 orders of their fried pickles (because its my favorite) and each order comes with 1 sauce....I also asked for 2 additional sauce on the side, so I was supposed to get 4 sauces total. Instead, I got 1 sauce. They forgot to add the sauce to one of my fried pickle orders and didn't give me any of my extras either. I live 15 min away, so it's not si easy to just hop in the car and go grab the missing items. I called the store to complain and they said I could drive back and pick up the 3 sauces (unapologetically) when I said that I live 15 min away and if they can throw something in to make it worth my drive, to make up for the missing sauces and the drive...the manager said they typically charge for extra sauces and they had "forgotten to charge me for it" so all she can do is make sure I don't get charged for the sauce when I come pick them up when I know I was charged for it! Seeing how it was 10pm, I did not want to go back all that way for just 3 sauces. Not to mention, the manager was rude on top of it all. I won't be ordering from this place again. I used to order from them frequently but their prices have stayed expensive and their portions have been dramatically reduced. Their manager and service left a bad taste in my mouth. Someone needs to train her properly in customer service. And on top of it, I had to go thru security, empty all my pockets and be checked by a metal detector just to go inside and pick up my food absolutely ridiculous. Yea, they just lost a really good customer. It should not have cost me 94 for 1 small plate of food with 2 orders of fried pickels and 1 small desert.... read more

This country bar is so cute. It's decked out with decor, has fun table games to play and an awesome floor for dancing. My friends and I went early for the dance lessons which were very useful (and easy to pick up on), so we got a table. Very friendly and fun atmosphere, waitresses were nice and good. Good beer, good music, good dancing! I wish less slow 2 step songs were played--as not many people were two stepping. Also the live band was SUPER fun and good. My Thanksgiving Meal from Harry and David was lost. Explanation it may be on a Cargo Ship. Called many places the day before Thanksgiving. Marie Calendars sold our recommended Buckle and Boots. They totally saved me with an amazing meal. Turkey moist, 4 great side dishes with rolls and salad. I could have not done better. The gravy and cranberries were terrific. My first time visiting this place, Horrible service we were seated right away,(no wait good start) party of 3. after 5 minutes server helping table be next to us just asked is someone helping you guys? I daid no, Girl wasn't too friendly seemed fed up, in a bad mood, didn't even greet us, the look on her face said it all! We started to order while placing our order i wasn't sure what sides to choose,(since i was going to share with my husband I asked what sides he wanted ) server rude interrupting my conversation with him asked me if I wasn't ready or if I needed more time to think, i finally placed my order, my husband was next and same thing rude with him too, my brother in law is vegetarian He was asking what was good with no meat, she suggested Pizza! Really pizza? Come on! Brother in law took us there because he heard the food was good. We don't live in the area would not recommend, worst service ever!! We were there 35mins after placing our order, we asked for waters we never got them, 35mins waiting for our food we were hungry, the server never went back to our table. finally got up and left the restaurant (I did notify the server to cancel our order) didn't even apologize or nothing she said ok, and asked what table we were at. I cannot say enough great things about buckles. I've been coming here since 2018 and love everything about it. The staff is fantastic, every single one of them are kind, friendly and always smiling. The food is incredible and the dancing is always so much fun. They have an awesome DJ who plays a mixture of all music and live bands on the weekends. Within the last few months me and my best friend have made it a point to come every Thursday to learn the line dances from the incredible instructors they have. Since then we have been there every week and everyone has been so welcoming. It is an incredible atmosphere to be in and I highly recommend coming here! I've been here a few times in the past year, most recent was the past week they were only place open late in the BLVD i agreed with some of the past reviews. but for the recent one about them changing their menu, YOURE DUMB. restaurants change the menu all the time rotate dishes and so on. I do like chicken and waffles but like a lot of their dishes it was hit or miss or they were out of something. this past week was some of the best service I've ever had in a restaurant EVER. I think we got the manager of the two girls working. The food was great, she recommend some drinks based on us telling her what we normally like, my husband and her even shared drink recipes from home. and gave us plenty of attention with how busy their were I will be back for her, for the bison, for the drinks, and for the outdoor atmosphere. I have been reviewing bars for the last 20 years, and been in a lot of bars. The drinks were made to my satisfaction. Unfortunately that's as far as I can go with this place. I was on my way out and watched a customer get beat up outside. When I asked what was going on and they said one of the workers from the bar was outside fighting. Not sure if this is a typical night with this bar or not, my recommendation however he's going to be stay away. I am still not too sure where the managers or bar owners were. Line dance lessons are very helpful and the teachers are so nice! The dance floor is a little small so it can get crowded easily, especially when there's live music on Fridays and Saturdays. My biggest complaint before was that it was very hard to reserve a table as I could never get a hold of someone. I made another attempt to reserve a table and it went very smoothly via email, though it took a few days to get verified. The food is over priced, and average tasting. The drinks are also overpriced and sometimes watered down. Paid $16.50 for two Vodka/Sodas with 1 shot in each. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes we have someone ready to take our orders right away. Other times, we have to go to the bar which is okay. Overall, the atmosphere of this bar is very fun! Definitely good for a younger crowd as a lot of the music is a little more pop than your traditional country bar. read more
