Buckle in general is a great store. Love the men's and women's selection. I feel bad saying this because everyone that works there is so nice and I know working retail is stressful and not exactly fun... but omg whenever I walk into one I'm instantly reminded why I don't ever go in. You can ask me once if I need help or even try to start a small convo.. but when I say I'm fine and I am Just looking, I mean it. It just makes me leave immediately. I hate shopping in the store because of how they make the employees jump down ur throat. They lose a lot Of business from me because I have so much pent up frustration after ten minutes of being in there I have to leave. There was an associate that was working when I went and didn't allow me to freely shop around. She was literally breathe down my neck, felt super uncomfortable, and very pushy. Staff is very knowledgeable. I hadn't bought BKE brand jeans in a few years and have lost some weight so wasn't sure what size I was. The girl that assisted me brought me 4 pairs in my exact size! I ended up buying 2 of them and they ended up fitting perfectly and are my favorite jeans now! read more

But in my last two visits to Buckle for new jeans and other stuff, the experience was quick & easy thanks to Collyn, and the last visit, Collyn & Alex both helped me. I really feel this place is hit or miss in customer service. I've been in to this store many times and I either feel bombarded by a salesperson or the opposite, completely ignored. I think it should be more consistent for a store with a higher quality of clothing. I would compare Buckle to the Guess store down the hall and Guess has great sales tactics. So back to Buckle, the displays are very attractive and they make you want to construct a full outfit in the store. Good plan guys! It's totally worked on me. I just feel that sometimes it's difficult to find your size, like if stock is low, they didn't much try to help me find the correct size. We're out of it. Thanks for really looking in to that for me! This store has some cute clothes, but the sales people are SO PUSHY, I usually turn around and walk out after about 2 minutes. I get that they have sales goals and are supposed to be helpful, but damn let me breathe and look around a little. The girls pounce on you as soon as you walk in, give you a bunch of fake sounding compliments then bring you clothes they recommend. If I need help, I'll ask for it! Or if I've been in the store for maybe ten minutes after you first greet me, maybe check in. I've even tried pretending I'm on the phone when I walk in to try to keep them away and let me shop in peace, didn't help much here! My girls were looking for casual wear while I was looking for work wear.They have a great selection of jeans that fit everyone! Taylor helped us and was super helpful and friendly. I was in dire need for summer attire, and I usually shop at Buckle for jeans, but this team is the best I've ever shopped with. Luke took care of us for the most part, so that's why I remember his name, but the store manager and other employee were wonderful also. Because of their great teamwork and warm personalities, I spent almost $1000 in there over the course of a weekend. Alex, I believe that's his name, even remembered that I was from MS and said that he thought of me when he saw a MS tag and wondered if it was me. I had never seen this store - we don't have them where I live. I am now a huge fan for when I travel to AZ. It's a bit overwhelming walking in - lots and lots of selection and iterations of outfit possibilities...sheesh, you need a masters just to figure out what to choose. Becca is who I go see - she's fun, bright, professional and has a keen eye for what looks good on her customers. I love having new variety in my weekend wardrobe and especially being able to have her help selecting a few choice items. I continue to get compliments on a jeans and fitted shirt outfit whenever I wear them. Of course, I love them, too. Had to get a few extra tops. Ok so they are pretty pricey...but I pay out the *nose* for a good pair of jeans!! I thought the young woman who helped me was very nice, friendly and professional. I of course know my size and style so I don't generally need help but she did offer up some other styles that would fit similar to the BKE capris I picked out. The punch card they offer is pretty cool, you do have to spend a lot...but anything in there does happen to cost a lot!! I've been shopping at buckle for many years and every time I go I'm very pleased. Today was an exception because I came from work in which I never do this because I'm a functional Operations Manager. Meaning I dress to impress no one lol. Awesome staff! Very helpful! Not pushy like some of the comments. Walked in and both ladies new my waist size from a distance. Awesome! I visited this store while i was on vacation and this was the worst Buckle I've been. The sales people were very rude to me. Usually they are all around you trying to help you out and suggest thing, but here they gave me dirty looks and didn't acknowledge me or my friend. Instead the girl helped out someone else. I LOVE Buckles jeans, LOVE their sales people; however, I was disappointed with the Tempe store. Unless you are a waist size of 29 or less, it's slim pickins for larger waists. Finding a 32L was few and far between. I had to go to Chandler Mall, several miles away and out of my way to find a variety of 32L. Girls that wear 32L, want blingy pockets too! Blingy pockets aren't just for slim gals!! Also, another sales guy saw me waiting on my sales girl. He seemed like he was trying to help but then yelled across the store!!!!!!! " Oh, are you the one looking for 'forgiving in the waist and slender in the thighs?" OMG, thank God I didn't tell the gal that was helping me that I was about to start my period too! I've been coming here for about ten years, I used to go to the arrowhead location but then I moved. I love the clothes and how they put outfits together but they never have xsmall so I have to order online most of the time. I placed an order and was never given a receipt since I shipped it to this location to pick up. Since I had no receipt I asked what I should do if I needed to return something down the road. I was specifically told not to worry about it and if I mention the associates name who was helping me at the time and say that they said it was fine no matter what, they will return it. Well, I went to return something and I believe he's a manager but this associate said "I'm sorry you were misinformed but if you don't have a receipt unfortunately I can't do anything". Not okay in the customer service world. Plus they are very pushy at this location. If you want people to leave happy help them don't push clothes on them. Even if you aren't meeting your sales goal because if you push something on someone in my opinion they most likely will bring it right back to you. read more

my experience with buckle has been the worst! i bought some jeans here which i had to special order because they didnt have it at there store. they have free alterations, so i let them alter my jeans, and they came out rounded at the bottom and uneven. if you get pants altered here, make sure you check it before you leave the store because this place doesnt know how to alter jeans. unfortunately i didnt catch it until i went home. so i brought the jeans to a different alterations place that does a very good job, just to get her opinion. she said that they cut them too short on one side, so it couldnt be fixed to the length i wanted,and they couldnt fix it either. not to mention that when buckle altered them, they left some of the cloth loose on the inside, when its supposed to look as if i had bought them and never altlered them. so i go back to this location and tell the manager that i want to exchange them for a new pair of jeans because the alterations place said that they could not be fixed. the manager (chelsea) said well ok, but we can fix them. guess what, they didnt have my size in stock so i had to special order them again!!!!! i just received my jeans in the mail today, with the f*** ink tag on it, so we called this store and they said i have to go back to the store in order to have the ink tag/theft control thing taken off! then i have to go pay my alterations place to alter the jeans because this place doesnt know how to do it right and i am not taking a second chance with them. also, my husband had to exchange his jeans for the correct size which they did not have, so we had to order those jeans as well. buckle is a very expensive store, and you shouldnt have to go through hassles like this just to buy a pair of jeans. replace the alterations person, and replace that rude punk kid guy, and replace the manager that doesnt care to fix customers problems, and the store might do alright. as for now, i will never shop here again. worst experience ever!!!!! read more
