We've been here multiple times over the years and always enjoyed it. The wines are awesome. I try bottles of them as I visit. All are great. The folks are wonderful and friendly. The place is super with different areas to sit and enjoy company and great wine.

Buckley Vineyards is a must visit if you are in the Georgia Mountains. It is a vineyard that can not be missed. It is tied as my top two vineyards on this visit in the mountains. Ok, you are in the mountains the possibility of any road in the mountains is it can be a bit bumpy. If your vehicle is low to the ground you will be ok. But just a little heads up! Buckley is open seven days a week. They open at twelve o'clock. The closing time varies, see their website for details. They also have live music on some days too. I love the truck parked right outside. It is beautiful. Yes, a wine is named after it! The outdoor seating area is covered. It is large, with plenty of tables and chairs. And it has a lovely view. The tasting room inside is beautiful. It has exposed ceilings, lovely light fixtures, leather chairs, and exposed brick. This tasting room felt nuanced and inviting. So many tasting rooms put a bar and a lot of tables and chairs in with out giving any thought to the feel of the room. It was clear to me that someone was thoughtful about this room. Let's talk wine. The service was fantastic. This was the only vineyard we went to that still does a traditional tasting. And by that I mean pouring your glass one at a time, not you choosing everything at once. I love a traditional tasting. One where I can talk to the person behind the bar. We can ask about the wine. So I can figure out what I would like and also learn more about the vineyard itself too. I decided on the premium tasting. This is five of their wines and one reserve wine for sixteen dollars. The pours were good, better than at other vineyards yet again. And the the bartender made sure to check on us, ask my thoughts, likes, etc. We also were given some crackers to help cleanse our palette in between if we would like. I bought a bottle of the Amber wine to take home with me. I loved the taste and the color!

My friend and I popped into Buckley for a tasting on Wednesday and enjoyed sampling their wines and slushies as we soaked up the sun and conversation on the adarandak chairs. The grounds are incredibly well maintained and the location is new and beautiful. Bathrooms are located inside as well as outside near an even larger seating area which made them very assessable. The wines were yummy, and had so much character being labeled and named after family, loved ones, and pets. They do their tastings based on a chip system which I really loved. My friend and I did a regular tasting and then a premium tasting and were able to taste everything we wanted to. We will definitely be back again to enjoy their wine!!

First time visiting Buckley Vineyards and i absolutely loved it. Rick at the wine bar was such a pleasure and very helpful. There was live music and a food truck outside with good choices to pair your wine.

First visit on a weekend. They had some live music which complement at the ambience. The place itself is comfortable and laid-back. However, the wine was definitely lacking in all areas and the samples we had tried were just not good IMO.

Today was first visit to a Buckley and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambience, the staff and wine made for a great rainy day. They had live music today and a food truck. For sure one of my favorite wineries.

My fiancé and I had an amazing time at Buckley Vineyards this weekend! Not only was the wine delicious, but the company and entertainment was on point. We met Lloyd who is one of the owners and he was also singing and playing guitar. He was so nice and we had a great chat with him. He genuinely walked around and chatted with everyone there and made everyone feel welcome. We got some food from the food truck that was there, but in a pinch they also have food available to buy inside including little meat and cheese snacks and non alcoholic beverages. They have a good selection of wine plus they have several craft beer options! The wine slushies were amazing! I highly suggest getting it with a wine floater. I mixed the two flavors and it was delicious.

A pleasant wine find in N Georgia. Ample seating both inside and outside. Great area for a wedding reception. Great variety of wines to try. Live music. "Frank" and "Fireside" red top Zinfandel were our favorites. Friendly service. Definitely recommend and might even stop back by before we leave!

We arrived right when they opened, and the first thing we noticed was how modern, open, and beautiful the main building is. The ambiance inside is warm and inviting, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are absolutely breathtaking from every angle. The patio is huge -- two levels of seating with umbrellas -- plus another outdoor area and bar near the food truck. Honestly, we could have sat out there all day just soaking in the scenery. It's the kind of place that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. We had reservations in the dining room, which was elegant and refined, very much in line with the Roost Bistro's upscale atmosphere. The food, however, was just okay for us. My wife's seafood pasta was a bit bland, and my short rib was lukewarm and needed more seasoning. Not bad -- just not as impressive as the setting. We ordered additional wine in the beautiful open tasting room, which is separate from the dining tab. Our total came to $118. Even with the food being average, the wine, the views, and the overall experience were wonderful. Next time, we'll probably skip the dining room and opt for wine and the food truck instead -- enjoy the mountain backdrop and make a full afternoon of it. Roo Mountain is absolutely a place we'll be returning to.

There was live music inside, creating a cool and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone we met was incredibly kind. My wife mentioned that her favorite wines are Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc, and the staff immediately offered her two great options to taste. She ended up choosing the Sauvignon Blanc and enjoyed every sip. We sat outside under the covered area along the building and took in the beautiful view of the vines -- such a peaceful setting and perfect for entertaining or just unwinding. Although we saw a food truck on the way in, we didn't try it, but we did notice a family enjoying a picnic, which was a nice touch since you can bring your own food.

It was a bit chilly to sit outdoors and since we had the pup in tow, we sat in the covered patio, although it basically felt like indoors. Super dog friendly! We ordered a few snacks to nibble on while we sipped on our wine flights. Overall, it was a bit loud from the indoor live music, but otherwise, it was a rowdy fun time and great way to start our wine tour! There wasn't one wine that stood out from the rest but loved that a flight of 1 oz pours of 4 different wines of our choice was only $10 (may have increased since our visit in the fall a couple years ago). But definitely recommend as a stop if you're in Ellijay checking out wineries!
