We came with 6 including my 2 granddaughters. We started with 2 dozen wings 12 BBQ and 22 teriyaki, both very good 3 voted for each so no clear winner. The girls each ordered a kids meal past one with sauce and one with butter. They came plain with the butter and sauce on the side, i thought this was a little odd, the butter would't melt. One order a ceasar salad and one order a giant pretzel (kids) both were very good. Now for the adults one ordered a hamburger, came out as expected, another order sliders that were very good and pretty big for sliders and one ordered the rubin which was very good. We have been to Buckleys numerous times and have always had a great experience. Tonight was a different story. The waitress came to take our order and returned with the drink which did not contain alcohol and wasn't even full. She never once came back to check on if we needed anything. My dinner had to go back to the kitchen as it was undercooked. Taken back by a busboy . We were finished with our dinner had asked for to go containers again with the busboy. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting to ask for a check. She kept looking right past us at her other tables. When she finally did come and ask how was everything, I said where were you before. You should have come back at some point. She said I'm busy. Ok, this is your job and you're in customer. service? You were not that busy. She did not return with our change, she had someone else bring it back. I will make sure if we return, she will not be our server!!! Super disappointed with this. read more

Terrible service even charged for a side of gravy for a steak sandwich that was $25... the waitress forgot to bring out a clam chowder that was ordered up as an appetizer. I had to make sure she got it off the ticket. The staff that works on Saturdays from the inside cooks to the waitress staff is far more superior than the ones on Sundays. They should be embarrassed. Absolutely hands down the best wings I've ever had! They were perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and every bite was incredible. The drinks were just as amazing--made perfectly and never disappointing. On top of that, the bartenders were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. While the food is usually decent, the drinks are never made well. They're incredibly weak even when a double shot is requested. Bartenders seem pleasant, but definitely cater to "the regulars." Very disappointing meal. First when we ordered we asked for separate checks as one patron did not have cash and was using her card. This did not happen when presented the check. Ordered Irish baked clams with bacon and sausage. They tasted off and there was no editor either bacon or sausage. The guest who ordered them asked the waitress to see about the dish. She returned saying the chef made them In the morning and froze them.... So our fellow diner dissected the fishy matter and found no evidence of bacon or sausage in appearance or taste. The waitress agreed to remove the clams from the check. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was straight out of the box. Costco has better! We went here and put our names on the list to get a table. We were told 15 minutes and that we would receive a phone call. After 20 minutes, we walked back in and found our name was crossed off the list and the hostess uninterested in seating us. She had proceeded to seat three other tables which arrived after us and was silent as to why we were not provided with a table. After realizing that she was not going to seat us at an open table which she put a reserved sign on, we left. We have decided not to return to this establishment or any of their sister/related restaurants in the area. My wife and I came here last Sunday for dinner. I had been here before for drinks but hadn't eaten here before. My wife got a chicken pot pie and I got fish and chips. We both had Guinness beers that were poured perfectly. It wasn't too busy but we felt the staff could have been more attentive, as they didn't really check in on us after the food was served. It's been a long time since I had traveled to the Moriches and the main town which was along the Montauk Highway. And that's exactly where we found ourselves later in the day at the Buckley's Irish Pub. As one enters the restaurant, one would notice a fairly large traditional dark wood paneling bar with plenty of seats, flat screens, along with a dividing wall parallel to the bar that separated the bar from the dining room. In the rear of the bar, there was a dart board actively being played. We were seated in the dining room at a booth with clear view of a flat screen TV playing a College Football Bowl game. Our waitress was attentive and readily available. The menu offers various appetizers, salads and entrées, with Irish traditional favorites. I enjoyed a traditional burger with some toppings and French fries. The two IPA's on the beer menu were popular and were prefect to accompany my dinner. Although, I only had the traditional burger and fries at an Irish Pub, I found the restaurant definitely worth another visit. read more

They offer a large and diverse menu of food to eat. They have separate restrooms for men and women and there's plenty of room to sit at the bar or the dining area. This was my second time in. First time was good, So I figured I would stop and again when passing through town. This time was not up to par Got the Reuben. Cold corn beef and no 1000 island dressing. We live in Center Moriches but haven't been to Buckley's in a long time. So we went there for dinner tonight. We started with the corn fritters as a shared appetizer and thought they were very good with the horseradish dipping sauce. My wife ordered the marinated steak and I ordered the fish and chips. We were both unhapppy with our choices. While the steak was cooked perfectly, it either wasn't marinated or was marinated so lightly that the taste didn't come through. The waitress brought over a cup of the marinade but it certainly wasn't the same as if the steak was cooked with it. The meat was also tough. My fish & chips was supposed to come with "twice fried french fries" implying that they were crispy. However, they are simply potato wedges that were miles away from being crispy. They were soft and rather tasteless. The fish, though, was cooked well and the coating was very good. My wife had two glasses of wine and I had a diet coke. The bill came to just under $75 excluding tip, which seemed a bit much for what we had. So, our visit was kind of a roller coaster and that's the reason I can't give Buckley's more than 3 stars for this visit. read more

This place is so close to me that I am so shocked I haven't been here before! I love the quaint look of it, the decor and the amazing food and service! This is some of the best pub food I have ever had and some of the best service anywhere! We went with a friend of ours who can sometimes be a little picky about food and can sometimes have difficultly deciding what he wants to eat :-) Our server, I can't believe I forgot her name because she was awesome, helped him out and was so patient with all of us trying to decide what to eat. Everything looked so great on the menu so that was part of the issue! Well, everything we chose was just as our sever said, Excellent! The portions are great and so are their beer selections! We have been to Ireland and I have to say that the bartender who pours the Guinness is a pro! Perfect pour and temperature every time! Jon Taffer would be truly impressed! My review of this place is for one thing: the burgers. My wife was craving a good burger and as we've passed this place a few times, we decided to give it a try. We got three burgers - two adult and one kid, with varying degrees of accoutrements, including different cheeses, veggies and such. Everything was phenomenal! The burgers came our promptly, the toppings were all fresh and crisp and our service was great to boot. It didn't hurt that they have a vast array of beers on tap (who doesn't want a good draft beer with their burger?). We'll likely be going back soon! *PS: I usually never comment on others' comments but Nikki R's is ridiculous. The place looks great since they reopened after the fire they had. They now have the dining tables separated with a partition wall which drowns out bar noise and has booths or tables to sit at in a clean, comfortable setting. I love an Irish Pub with a good black & tan and was looking forward to trying one. Nice to know they have Harp here for a genuine Irish version ;) and was made well, ahhhh. We had corn fritters to start which came with a horseradish dipping sauce. Loved the fritters, nice and crunchy outside with a soft, warm sweet corn and creamy inside. The dipping sauce was good as well. I had a burger with sautéed onions. I wouldn't say it was the best burger ever but, was tasty and I gobbled it all up. I've been meaning to update this for a while. So they haven't had a band the past couple times I've been here and I think that helped peel back the facade. The beer is very expensive. $7 for a Sam Adams in Midtown Manhattan - sure. In middle of nowhere Long Island? No way! Service always seems to have a chip on their shoulder, I guess because I'm from out of town. I'm not sure if the crowd is odd, or on point with what I should expect from long island. Last time I was here two guys met for a lightsaber battle in the parking lot. I will never understand Long Island, nor this bar in particular. Seems to be the rage with the locals though. read more

Its very cozy at both the bar and the dinning area. The bar area is very big, great place for a gathering of friends. They have a nice selecting of brews, with several micro brews on tap. Food is very good, I especially like the burger. It's a lot if typical pub fare with some traditional Irish dishes as well; Shepard s Pie, Bangers and mash etc. Highly recommend, I think I'm going to become a regular here!! read more
