George motz, the foremost burger expert and owner of hamburger America in nyc recommended this place as a replacement for my beloved good steer restaurant that closed down after Covid. Because of his recommendation I wanted to try this out. Unfortunately it doesn't taste anything like I expected. The burger was juicy, tender but utterly tasteless. The fries weren't great either. The price is pretty good though, at $9 for a burger and fries. The waitress kept messing up our bill. I gave $12 in cash but she still billed the full amount to my friends card. Then when we spoke to her about the mistake, she said she voided the old payment but then billed him $20 extra. Wild. My friend will have to call his bank to make sure it all was voided. This experience makes me not want to go back even more especially considering the food wasn't impressive.

Ok local pub serving average Pub food...nothing special! Guinness served properly was excellent. French onion soup looked better than it tasted once you get past the nice cheese topping. We shared an order of wings which was good. The mains were meh! Fried flounder sandwich had a thin piece of overdone fish on a bun...My 12 oz burger with Bleu cheese had grayish color meat with fillers which fell apart as eaten. The best thing was the service!

Starting the check in off right! A nice IPA!

Hey hey! This was our first time at the Triangle Pub, been dying to try it! So we did. Triangle pub is a small old time pub located on a small triangle piece of land in Eastport, NY. Nicole our server took awesome care of us. She is very happy and loved her job. She gave us all her recommendations and couldn't talk high enough about them. For starters we had the generous fried artichoke hearts which came with 2 sauce dipping. One was a horseradish sauce and the other a garlic alioli sauce. Yum. For dinner we ordered a 6oz Triangle burger ($12) and for $3 additional, I got the 12oz burger ($15). The burgers were covered with fried onions, cheddar cheese, mushrooms and bacon. They were cooked perfectly! Nicole was just amazing and took great care of us. Her recommendations were the best. We will be back. Stop in and check em out, just off Sunrise highway!

Consistently good basic food served by amiable servers. Fair prices. Pretty much a local Eastport landmark.

He had to wait over 20 mins for them to "cook more" only for the young server to forget to bring it back the two times we asked her for it. The pretzel app came with beer cheese sauce that had the same texture as sand. It was inedible. The only good app was the boom boom wings. Couple in that terrible start of our experience to our apps coming the same time as our entrees. With my meal coming about 10 minutes before my boyfriends but minutes after the young staff dropped the apps. So we couldn't even enjoy the wings without our entrees being cold. Server was also slow. Idk if it's because they have all young staff and no supervisors or managers but it was bad. Had to ask multiple times for refills on our water when that was my only drink bc I couldn't stomach the refrigerator tasting martini. My food was lackluster and watery (pasta). Terrible waste of a date night and hefty bill.

Happy Easter Day to everyone who celebrates Christian Faith…read more My Sister and I had reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in West Haven, in most people's opinions. Duffy's is an Irish American Pub/Restaurants owned by Christopher Walsh. Being a holiday, Duffy's is offering both their traditional and brunch menu options. The dining room and bar is decorated with strong oak furniture, tables and chairs. The historic backdrop is filled on the walls throughout the restaurant of baseball, football, political heroes and of course, a touch of Irish heritage and American pride. The staff immediately make you feel welcome and right at home with their warm demeanor and bright smiles. My Sister had the Brunch Wrap with a side of Home Fries (Sorry no picture) I had to Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli and Carrots.
