Had our new bumper installed on our '92 Dodge D250 last week by Buckstop. So far so good. The quality is far better than any of the four bumpers we've tried previously. The main reason for our recommendation however is the excellent customer service received. We felt compelled to post our experience after reading some reviews of "less than satisfactory" in that department. Every single person there, from the person who met us at the door to the installer; all were welcoming, attentive and professional. The building is quite large, a person could get lost in there - and I did! More than one employee cheerfully stopped what he was doing to help me find the waiting area, coffee and bathrooms. No one made me feel like an idiot for being lost or an irritation for interrupting work. Technology has improved over the years regarding the powder coating problems and perhaps reading "customer service" reviews has improved them in that area as well. In October 2013 I unfortunately hit an uninsured deer. Extensive front end damage was done to my Suburban. I immediately began researching a new heavy duty bumper assembly. Buckstop has a pretty good reputation for the selling a good quality product. I spent 20 plus days attempting to put a bumper together. Left phone messages, web form request and emails for both Dorian (owner) and Tristan without return replies. I eventually received a response from Dorian. No apology etc... but the he did answer my questions. I sent 3 more emails in attempt to order the bumper assembly-finalize the purchase- this was a $3500 order. After a week still no reply. I gave up and ordered from ARB. I would hesitate doing business with this company. I can't imagine what one might have to go through should a problem arise. read more

I ordered my bumper on 2 March 2017. I was told that it was gonna be 4 to 5 weeks before it shipped. Ok no problem. So I checked there website for an up date and nothing was updated on the website. On 22 March 2017 I contacted them to get an update and they told me due to an issue it was gonna be another 2 to 2.5 weeks. On 20 April 2017 I had to contact them again because they did not, to find out what was going on with my bumper. I was told that it would be wrapped up and shipped on the 21st. 25 April 2017 it finally shipped. I payed extra for a residential delivery, just to have the shipping company call me to find out how I was going to get the bumper off the delivery truck. It is a nice bumper but there customer service sucks read more

I was in an accident about 5 years ago and it destroyed my custom pre-runner bumper. So I decided it was time for a change. After lots of research I decided to go with buckstop. I have no complaints and I get compliments on my truck every day. The powder coating has held up amazingly! I off road a lot and I hunt all the time. This thing has been through it all. I also live in phoenix so it sees very high temps all the time. I want to get a rear one to match but I can't get a return email. I also have emailed them 5 times to put my truck on their website because it's so cool and I have never got a response. Those are my only complaints. I actually want to buy another one right now but I can't seem get anyone to take my money. read more

I saw Buckstop's ad in a magazine and had to have one. I ended up ordering there bumper and it was shipped to me by truck. It was the wrong one, but they quickly shipped me the correct one at no charge. I actually think they handled this well. I ended up installing the bumper on my truck andd it loos and fits great. 5 stars so far right? Well after a year, the powder coating starts peeling off the bumper. I called them if i could send it back to be repaired. They didnt want anything to do with it.. they told me to take it somewhere local and pay for it myself. Powder coating should last at leas 5-10 years, So I was sure they would warranted it for me, especially since the bumper cost thousands of dollars. By the way , the bumper was put on a truck that sees no harsh weather and is driven less than 5000 miles /year. If this company would give its customers a 5 or ten year warranty on the powder coating i would give them a 4 or 5 star rating, but until then , I would stay away from this company and their finished product is shoddy and they do not stand behind their work. read more

In 2010 I purchased a Buckstop Rear Bumper for my 2002 Ford Super Duty. Amazingly simple styling and what appeared to be a well built, solid bumper. The powder coating has failed and for a company that claims they build "heavy duty" bumpers they have no interest in fixing the issue or sending a replacement. read more

worst customer service ever!!! Ordered a 2000 dollar bumper they cashed the check asap and I am still waiting for bumper!!! They will not call back or let me know what the status is on the product.....going to the police for theft. read more
