Been here before a while back and it was strained. This time the atmosphere and ambiance were much improved. It's a pub-casual environment and feels relaxed and casual. The service was good, and prompt. No complaints. The primary issue on this review was that I ordered the Buffalo Schnitzel. I had thought it was going to be with some buffalo sauce, but balanced, as the menu simply describes it as "tenderized pork loin, panko fried, buffalo sauce, Caeser salad, bacon, blue cheese" But unfortunately it came out with at least a 1/4 cup of Frank's Red Hot drenching the top of the meat. It so overwhelmed everything, and was not brushed on or anything. Will return to try other options but this visit was a miss.

I'll say it's not Philly Cheesesteak worthy of the best there, but for a steak and cheese outside Philly, it's a solid contender and definitely worth trying. Service was great, with exactly the right level of attentiveness, prompt delivery of all items, from the great craft beer selection, to the food. The establishment is like many Vermont pubs, very low key and straightforward, down to earth. Great, friendly staff, and attentive. We ended up ordering a lot of food - fried pickles, burgers, etc. and it was all good pub food. None of it is like "Michelin star" but it's certainly good food, served in a good pub atmosphere.
