It's not pretty, but it's really basic....no thrills. No car wash. I say that because so many places now have car washes and the price per gallon is different if you buy the car wash. I drive a jalopy (Google it) and probably wash it never. Why should I be penalized for not washing my car? That's why you should go to this station....no penalties, no scams. I walked in, since the door was open, and I went to get my daily drinks from the cooler. The two people at the counter SAW ME walk to the back and make my selections. When I got to the counter, the woman said "we are closed, {something unintelligible} shift {something unintelligible}". I dropped my drinks and left. Hopefully, they will get their personnel situation worked out, since their selection and membership rewards are better than Speedway.

They used to be…read moreopen 24/7 for years but over the past 6 months, the overnight personnel shortages close the location and the current overnight employee seems to use the bathroom conveniently every day when I arrive around 2:15 AM. He puts various taped signs on the door and locks the door - sometimes, "Be Back in 5 Minutes", sometimes 10 minutes and sometimes 15 minutes. Very inconvenient to never know if I can get my morning caffeine or not. 11/25 - Store not open again this morning, but this time, no sign in the window. The overnight employee was siting behind the counter, on his phone as usual, saw me attempt to open the door, and just sat there. I waited for him, yet he did not move.

BP is only a few blocks away from Woodfield Mall and had a free air pump. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who needed to add air to my tires as I had to wait for two cars for my turn, and when I left there was another car using the pump. BP has a small store with a variety of items for purchase. Both the friendly, cheerful employees directed me to the tire pressure gauges. Thank God they had one on their shelves! It came with two tire valve caps which I ended up needing one when my frozen hands dropped my car's cap somewhere in the slushy inches of snow.
