I'm only giving one star because zero is it an option. The car wash here malfunctions & the manager/owner does not refund your money. He just gets nasty & tells you it's your fault. I have been here when it operates correctly so I know how it's supposed to function but it doesn't now and that guy is does not know how to treat or speak to customers. My advice is to STAY AWAY from this station! read more

Excellent customer service. They have gourmet coffee and a machine that offers various coffee such as espresso, cappuccino, etc. They are very helpful and would return here when I'm in the area. read more

This station is an example of horrid customer service. Originally from Chicago. Now visiting from LasVegas. Drove four days through rain, sleet, snow and wanted to get the very dirty car washed. Went to this Mobile and eventually figured out how to drive into it. No signage at all on the machine that takes your money. Screen facing the sun, almost impossible to read. Finally saw there was a $10 option and chose that and put my $10 in slot, then nothing happens. Pressed the button a few times and nothing! Finally pressed the need help button and guy says, "What do you want?" Just Wow! I told him the machine toook my money and the car wash not working. He said what slot? I said the one where you put your money. He says oh, that doesn't work! I said then how do I get my car washed? He says, well you will have to come back when the owner is in to get your money back! I drove through the car wash and went in! I said can you please give me money or a car wash. He says, how do I know you put money in? Now he is calling me a liar. I told him there should be signage that the machine does not work. He says there was!!! I replied, not now. I gave him my name and phone number and then said the easiest way to solve this is to give me a car wash. He says if I do, I will get fired. I told him that if that is the case, the owner must be a jerk! So actually, they stole $10.00 from me and I have no chance in hell of getting it back. So, stay away from this MOBILEcosts! Got a better car wash down the street for $5! Having been a retail business owner for 21 years, this was totally unacceptable and down right rude! I wish there was an option for zero stars! Have to update this review! The owner Sam called me this morning and apologized for the stress I went through with his employee. He was super sweet and gave me codes for 2 free car washes with a month to use them and I could not use them, left me his phone number to reach him for new codes. Maybe I shouldn't tell you this. But then again, if I get them more business, that's good, right? OK. It's a secret, though. This station regularly has either the cheapest or second-cheapest (by pennies) gas in the area. And since it's just a little closer to home than the other cheapest station in Wood Dale (that being the Citgo a couple blocks east of Wood Dale Road on Irving Park), I come here regularly. The mini-mart sells all kinds of stuff, including beer and wine and beef jerky. There's a reasonably good car wash that you can buy with your gas and get 10c off a gallon. The staff's been friendly on my rare forays inside. But mostly, I come here for the lowest-priced gas in the area. read more

This station normally has cheap gas. It can be difficult to get into if you are coming from the west. There is no left turn into the station during rush hour periods. If you want to go here you have to turn left at the light, drive behind the BGK, come back out east on Irving Park and turn into the gas station. Then when you leave you either have to cross two lanes of traffic to head east on Irving Park or beat those same two lanes to get in the left lane and head south on Addison. Review #700 read more

This gas station rocks. You're probably like, how can a gas station be awesome? A gas station is a gas station. Oh contrare. First of all, this is probably the cheapest gas you will find. Even when I'm riding on empty, I push my car to go to this gas station because anywhere else is 10 cents more. Even the Marathon across the street is 10 cents higher. It surprises me that the owner of that station is still in business with this Mobil station around. Secondly, the guy who is usually there is the best there is. He's really friendly and helpful. One time, I couldn't read the numbers for my car wash very clearly and he took the time to write them out for me. Yesterday, after I was done getting gas, I saw him come out as a car pulled up behind me. At first I didn't know what he was doing, but then I realized that the woman behind me was handicapped. He came out in 18 degree weather to help her pump the gas! He did the whole thing for her. You don't get any nicer than that. What an upstanding citizen and what a great stop for gas, air, car wash, and all your other needs. The only thing that sucks is that it's hard to get into the station. There's no turning lane, so you sit there near the intersection as cars get pissed off. Oh well. That's a Wood Dale problem though. Yay Wood Dale Mobil! read more

Wow, I wish I could have the option to give this business minus 5 stars. I truly believe that the guy who runs it, named David, needs psychiatric treatment. So I come from work Friday night around 11 PM, I stop as usually at this gas station to fill out my tank, I use my regular credit card at the pump and I get a denied message twice, it happens all the time when I use it a lot in a day, just as a fraud protection, anyway I go inside and I politely ask the clerk to authorize pump 11 and I tell him that I'll leave my credit card with him so he can be assured that I will come back and pay for the gas (I've done that in the past at that gas station, because I used to be a repeat Mobil customer till now). His answer: "NO, your card has been declined twice and you don't tell people what to do". Imagine my face, I was shocked, but then I asked him if he is serious to treat me like that and I politely reminded him that I'm the customer and he is the merchant and he should treat me with respect, I also offered $80.00 in cash as a deposit for gas and he refused to sell me gas again stating that he doesn't need my business. Well, in that moment I told him that I will make a complaint with Exxon Mobil Corporation and his reply was: "Go knock yourself out, get lost otherwise you'll spend your night in jail" For what David? For being polite and trying to be your customer again? Please take your recordings from security cameras to the nearest psychiatrist ASAP because you need help. I frequent this gas station every week and felt compelled to let everyone know that the employees that work at this station are very efficient and friendly. You can't beat the gas prices - believe me, I know because I travel a long way to work and they are the cheapest! They always give me service with a smile! read more

I am big on excellent customer service and I have to be honest, I don't know of any other place that I have gone to in the surrounding suburban area that can beat the service that I receive when Peter is working especially at a gas station. You'd think...."Oh this is just a gas station", however there have been several occasions that I've walked into the station on some of the worst days literally feeling like crap and have walked out with a huge smile on my face and spirits lifted. Peter personalizes your visit, is very professional, quick, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I remember the very first time that I came into the station expecting to see Peter behind the counter (on the sly for more selfish reasons needing a quick spirit boost) , and there stood a new face and I think I literally was shell shocked. I figured...well I guess he does deserve time off once in a while. Then...the very next time that I went in he still was not there..at this point I put it in my head that if Peter was gone...they just lost a customer. Especially considering the fact that the new employee(s) provided not even half of the quality customer service as Peter. My last and final (or so I thought) visit I was happy to see that Peter was working. After seeing this I realized that Peter simply had time off as he should. So with this being said, I truly appreciate the quality customer service from Peter at the Wood Dale Mobile gas station. I don't remember the guys name, he is always there. I take care of my mother, he takes care of his parents too. He is always friendly to every customer that walks in. I've never seen him not smile to anyone. He always thanks each and every customer. I have never really met one person at any gas station, that really cares about his customers like him. This place is awful for a car wash. Waited in line 30 minutes. Pull in and car wash shuts down. The unfriendly attendant informs me that it is my fault and that I will need to pull out, get a new code, and get back in line. I request a refund and he refuses. Throws new code on the counter. I use to think this gas station was great, I have been going there for about 5 years'and been treated great until on May 5, 2012 Friday night at 8pm. I went to fill up my tank and said to the guy (David) behind the counter, I will need $20 of gas. He said in a loud voice what is your pump number? I said "Oh" , than said right up front in the middle. He got real mean and said "I see 5 cars out there which is yours?" Again, I pointed and he shouted out in front of other customers get out of here and don't ever come back here, especially when I am here.
