11/23 - Store may not be open 24/7 as hours suggest. I work 2:30 AM to 10:30 AM. They used to be open 24/7 for years but over the past 6 months, the overnight personnel shortages close the location and the current overnight employee seems to use the bathroom conveniently every day when I arrive around 2:15 AM. He puts various taped signs on the door and locks the door - sometimes, "Be Back in 5 Minutes", sometimes 10 minutes and sometimes 15 minutes. Very inconvenient to never know if I can get my morning caffeine or not. 11/25 - Store not open again this morning, but this time, no sign in the window. The overnight employee was siting behind the counter, on his phone as usual, saw me attempt to open the door, and just sat there. I waited for him, yet he did not move. read more

Went at 2:00 am to fill up and grab a few snacks for the road on a fishing trip. They were not open. Hours are wrong

First time coming, wanted to come here to grab some drinks since I was in the area and wanted to visit this Speedway particularly. It's generally a large establishment, it gets tons of traffic here. Corner store with easy access to the streets. Staff is friendly, store is decently kept. Fair specials though they do have the highest gas prices in the area read more

Mega millions drawing did not honor for the 9:45 cut off sales it was 9:28 and would not sell tickets. Went up the street to 711 and they honored the sale. read more

After visiting this location today I will be cashing in all my rewards points and moving across the street to Casey's being that these are the two local and closest to home gas stations that I travel to. What's the condition just continues to get worse here I made a comment before if you want to back hoping maybe somebody in the organization would notice it and make changes you can barely walk to the parking lot without having to dodge all types of garbage and spills everywhere also have to look for all the wet spots so you can dodge getting dirty rooftop rain water dripped into your hair or coffee I'm sure like myself a lot of people that shop at the speedway use the H2O car wash behind here and then pull in and get gas it's kind of convenient to do it all like that if you're not currently going to Casey's where it's all on one site. Bathrooms are filthy. In these times where everybody is looking for the cleanest places to be I would step it up before place really losers more customers read more

I like coming to this location because the gas prices are competitive and it is located at a major intersection near an area I frequent. I have not spent much time beyond the gas pump, but judging from the traffic inside, it is more than likely well stocked. read more

PROs: Friendly staff, Reward program, inexpensive products, Quick meal CONs: Crowded/Busy during peak hours I would come here only at night during my lunch break @ 1:00AM working from PNC Bank just down the street. I would always get my gas here to rack up points for me to redeem a free drink/meal. Also been lucky lately to earn 1000 points upon every checkout! Speedway is awesome. read more

Not sure why I bother to stop at this location anymore. Coffee is old and burnt, overnight employees refuse to operate speedy cafe, usually you'll find 1 employee sitting on the side playing with a phone. read more

Best gas prices around - and when they run the speedy rewards discount, it's even better. Speedway gets really busy during the day, so the lot can be a little hairy. Since I have a car that runs on premium gas, I have no issues waiting as I know I'm saving at least 10-15 cents a gallon from other stations. Worst case, the Thorntons down the street at Wood Dale and Devon usually matches Speedway's prices. However, Speedway is always my 1st choice. read more

Now that the gas station across the street is gone I have to come here. I use to come here all the time on the way too and from work off of Devon but haven't been here in a while. Cheapest gas in the area. They have an air pump too that takes quarters. read more

Fast and efficient. Prices are better here than anywhere close. Gets pretty busy at typical commute times. But they always have their squeegee buckets full with window washing solvent and they just got a new air fill machine that accepts credit/debit cards. read more

not only are the gas prices great, but the food is awesome. I never thought that I would get hooked on their sandwiches that they have hot & ready. The bacon double cheeseburger is by far better than the Mc Double @ Mc Donald's. If you haven't tried the sandwiches @ Speedway before, then I suggest that you try them out now. I came here today on my way to work just for a quick amp to wake me up a little. I could hardly find the amp section. It took me about 5 minutes looking up and down the fridge selections they had and I couldn't find it. I even saw a associate who saw me struggling not help me. After looking for so long I found a tea that I really like and when I bent down to grab it I saw the amp hiding behind the sign. The selection is not that good at all, but they at least had my tea. The cashier herself was nice especially how some people can be in the morning. I am a morning person and I love people who are like that as well and she made that visit very nice. Cleanliness is good here, didn't use their bathroom so I cannot back that up just yet. read more

Most of the employees are very nice and helpful. I love to get my gas here. No Cook County tax, competitive pricing and you get many perks. I save points to get $0.50 off a gallon. This has brought me down to $1 and some change per gallon. Only takes a little over a month with multiple people using the same card! Buy a gift card for gas and it gets you more points faster! read more
