Decided to try a new place for karaoke night. Got there at 7:30, got up and walked out at 9:15 since we never received food or drinks - so can't rate food. Absolutely horrible service! Supposedly two waitresses, one new and never saw the second one at all. Tried to get waitress' attention for 25 min, finally went to bar to have her sent to our table. Come here every summer when I am home from school. I have never had a bad experience with staff. I got sad when I saw the awful rating on Yelp because this place is really great when you give it a chance. Luckily most of the bad reviews are from 5,6,7 years ago, so they aren't as really accurate still. The bar is connected to langel's pizza and you can order at the bar and it comes out relatively fast. They have pool tables & darts. I wish they still had ping pong still though. Bingo is really enjoyable, and free too! They do karaoke sometimes too. Prices are reasonable. I have never felt more at home at a bar. The regulars have a really great bond and are super friendly with each other. I have come to know so many people here. The bartenders are beyond friendly and super attentive. They are the ones that keep this place in business. This place could be really busy like the Crown Point one with more promotions. They need more specialty cocktail promos, live bands, activities, etc. They need something to stand out more because Rt 30 is very busy and they have such potential. Rachel is the best by far. Liked it a lot, a little packed on the weekends Thurs - Sat but, it's a great place to party. I went there at noon one day, ya noon I know.... but whatever. Anyway, I love the fact that they got a window to Bronko's(eatery next door) and you can put the food from there onto your bar tab. Speaking of Bronko's I had the Ham and Turkey Club, it was awesome! I've been coming to this place for 6+ years, I loved it. Yesterday I left my card there (I know my fault). I called and let them know I would be in first thing to pick it up. I showed up before the doors were open. The bartender (who is amazing BTW) told me that the owner had cut my card. He said it was "illegal" to hold on to them. Went in recently this past Wednesday, it was cruise night but not busy. The bartender was HORRIBLE. Air conditioning is bad... you literally sweat in this hot box. Bartenders don't push the food from Langels pizza which is connected to this bar, you practically have to flag down the bartender to get an order in. TV's are nice but they don't manage sports. Chicago teams always missing, all TV's on one sport, just not managed. Bartenders are inexperienced "people skill wise", yeah they can make a drink but paying attention to the people that pay the bills is non existent. Service is amazingly bad, plan on sitting like a bump on a log with an empty drink. Poor beer selection on draft. Sound on TV's when a sport is on is non existent, better be prepared to listen to the jukebox. This could be a great "watering hole" due to poor management, it's a stop by and have one drink place and move on to a bar that cares... Disappointing. read more

This bar is going through an identity crisis. It is not sure if it is a sports bar or if it is a trash bar. They have decent TVs but not one of them looks all that good. They're all on the wrong setting from the cable input. For example I was in there to watch the Bulls game last week, the settings on the TV did not match the signal coming from the cable box. Therefore we could not see the score of the game because the TV was zoomed in to far. Other TVs need to be brightened. Some TVs have a transparnet line going down the middle. If I was the owner I would be getting these kinds of things correct. On Thursdays the bar is relaxed with people there wanting to watch the game, with the audio for the game on the speakers throughout the bar. Then all of the sudden a DJ starts playing, there is 10 people in the bar, and now I can't hear the person sitting next to me. Now the sports bar has just become the dance club (Identity Crisis). There used to be better drink specials at this place. Those have all gone away and replaced with specials that nobody seems to think is worth it. I used to go to this place every week. Now I might go once every 2 months. read more

Terrible. Been here more than a few times and getting served is a nightmare. Rachael is the worst bartender I've ever had and that's no exaggeration. She's rude and snarky, doesn't smile and makes you wait. I had to wait almost 10 min before she even walked over, on a slow day. None of the bartenders have any sense of urgency no matter how busy it gets. It's close to home but I'd rather drive 30 min to another bar than wait 30 min for service and have to order 3 drinks at a time so they're warm by the time I drink them. read more

Great Place to go party. Tons of girls and I would say about 90% of them are open to meeting and chatting with new guys. Girls, there are little to no creeps here. Bartenders are hott and there is a good ratio of girls to guys here. Definitely the place to go to on Fridays and Saturday nights to flirt with random cute college girls that are looking to PARTY!!! This is the only FRIENDLY club/bar that I know of in Northwestern IN. Don't go to Woodhollow on Fridays, screw that place, all stuck up jerks and cover to get in, so not worth it. Saturdays here were always FUN, with GOOD music, they change up the songs too, you don't hear the same playlists constantly like woodhollow and the other clubs. Also there is no cover, drinks are cheap, and the staff is extremely friendly as are the door personnel. I strongly recommend this if you like hopping clubs. This place does get packed on a sat though and people do dance which is cool. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars for this awful place. We came into town to go to 3 Floyd's. We tried to go to this bar afterwards to play pool. One of the bartenders told me I couldn't drink because I had a temporary license but that I could stay with everyone to play pool. About 5 minutes later a "security guard" came out and asked us to show ID. I explained the situation and the bartender decided to change her mind. That's fine-I get they're a business and they don't want to get in trouble. We had to split into 2 Uber rides to go back to our hotel. After my car went the cops rolled up to where my fiance and another couple were waiting for the next car and they were asked why they were loitering at this bar. He explained the situation and asked if the paper license should have been allowed and they confirmed that it should have been accepted. Came her early evening to enjoy some drinks and food. Bartender was great. Prices were average, could be better. Food was very good with reasonable prices. A band was setting up to play that night. Only thing I didn't like we're the night bartenders after the shift change. Not very attentive or personable! Otherwise a nice place to chill. read more

I have been here a few times what a difference a day makes. I have been there for bingo on Friday nights it was some what crowded each night. The first night our waitress was good, the second night we had this blonde, I think she was new, but the service was great. The problem was the third visit on November the 24th. Only one bartender, and no waitress..I went to the bar to get a drink and after 15 minutes no service. The bartender looked at me several times but served other people who arrived at the bar after me. After a waitress started and never once came over to our table. I really only seen her once for the next hour. Too bad I going to stay and listen to the band, but not with that service. read more
