I forgot how good the food is! I used to go years ago for burgers and sandwiches. Tonight I tried the chicken shish kabobs. It was phenomenal! Even the dinner salad that came with the meal was fresh and crisp! My husband enjoyed the rainbow trout. He opted for the beef barley soup which he also said was good. Our server, Megan, did a great job. She had the perfect mix of checking on us and letting us enjoy our dinner. She was also just a delightful person. We'll definitely go back sooner than later. My girlfriend and I stopped here for a night dinner. It was casual and laid-back inside. I ordered a diet soda, a lime margarita, and the spaghetti with lemon rice soup. The margarita was put together well. It was a little watery, but that could be from all the ice. The soup was great! You can taste the lemon clearly and it was accompanied with bread. My spaghetti came out very promptly. I was surprised how quickly it was made and brought to the table soon after the soup. It was average spaghetti. It wasn't anything special, but it did the job. I did eat most of it, so I'm not complaining. It had a good amount of sauce which is a plus. The garlic bread that came with it was phenomenal! They even gave a good size plate of it. The garlic blended right in with the texture of the bread. The service was great and didn't have any issues whatsoever. Overall, I'd love to try a different entree here in the future! read more

The family and I tried Cheers for the first time today. Cozy atmosphere that is very reminiscent of the 1980's. We tried the French Dip, The Norm Burger, the Spaghetti dinner and the BLT Club. I don't know where to start about this hidden bar and grill is NEVER a disappointment. Tom and George are brothers who take the time to run their business right. From how they treat their employees (some have been working for them well over 20+ years, that there says a lot). The food is never anything but perfect. I LOVE the Munster dip, the burgers are on point. To be honest I don't think there's one bad thing I've had on the menu. Mary is an awesome bartender who will have you never go thirsty. Andrea is amazing so kind and will always make sure her customers are well taken care of. If you go during the day Dawn has been there forever and you will be well taken care of. Now let me tell you something no one ever wants to talk about when going to a restaurant, how clean is the kitchen..... THIS IS THE CLEANEST RESTAURANT YOU WILL EVER EAT AT!!!! The owners are in back every dinner rush making sure everything is perfect and the entire kitchen is torn down multiple times a day and cleaned. I promise you. You will not eat at a cleaner place ever. The attention to details is something I really appreciate, and again from the bar, to the dining room, bathrooms, and finally the amazingly clean kitchen is just honestly amazing. BUT! They do not come with celery and blue cheese. You can order it for $2.95 and it is a HUGE plate of celery and b.c. Still... I resent having to order two appitizers... So, the service was good. The wine ($5 a glass) was drinkable. And for $8.90 INCLUDING the celery and blue cheese, the wings are a-okay. Haven't eaten here yet. Food looked good though. I usually like to go there after I have sushi at little tokoyo around the corner (behind Homan florist). They have a very nice staff. I am in my early 30's and this place didn't really have many people my age, everyone seemed older. Might have been because it was a weeknight. Who knows. I would have given this place 4 stars as most of my experiences there have been excellent. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered two ingredients in my patty melt, the bread and cheese were subpar and not what they normally serve. I can only assume they had run low on supplies and had to run to the grocer. But one subpar experience is no reason not to give this place a shot. If you are eating in, I recommend the dynobites. First off, March Madness is in full swing. Cheers is a great place to watch sporting events on all of their TVs. Ordered the cheese sticks for an app and they were crunchy and delicious. Great drink specials especially 6.50 for a pitcher of ice cold lite beer. Ordered the norms burger and it was perfect. My buddy ordered the steak sandwich and he said it was great. The best part, however, was the service. Juanita was working this afternoon and she made us feel like regulars by regularly checking on us and keeping the beer flowing. This bar is about 3.5 stars. I think that atmosphere is decent and the food is slightly above average. This bar has been here for ever and has had a strong following. I sometimes come in for lunch and then have spent some nights here. They have a good day crowd and night crowd. One thing I like is the clientele is all very clean cut. I have always liked going to Cheers. It seems to be the place where friends meet when they haven't seen each other for a long time.
