Buddy Brew Coffee: Where the Beans Are Buzzing... Even If the Baristas Aren't Caffeine? 10/10. Vibes? Somewhere between "just clocked in" and "existential espresso crisis." The coffee was stellar--bold, smooth, and clearly brewed by someone who respects the bean. The staff? Let's just say they had the energy of a soft jazz playlist at 6am. Minimal words, maximum efficiency. I respect that. No unnecessary chit-chat, just pure "here's your drink, have a nice day" energy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're into great coffee and that low-key, slightly-too-chill artisan aesthetic where everyone looks like they just woke up from a nap in a poetry book, this place is your spiritual home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I bring them a motivational poster next time? Also yes.

Located inside Armature Works Food Hall, Buddy Brew Coffee had a bit of a line which to me indicates a good sign. The Berry'd Treasure off the Gasparilla Specialty Drink Menu caught my attention. I was curious about what matcha and raspberry syrup would taste like. It also included vanilla syrup, espresso, and oat milk. I couldn't really taste the raspberry nor the matcha but I wasn't mad about it. Still tasty. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/buddy-brew-coffee-tampa-11?select=TSvDHHGrW-G1quNDIqBgUQ Solid coffee spot.

I was craving a fall beverage but I hate pumpkin spice. Buddy Brew has a great fall menu out right now. I tried their salted maple flat white which was so delicious, and iced since fall in Tampa is still 80 degrees. Great service at this location!

Located within Armature food hall, they always have a fun menu with a ton of options for drinks, teas, juices, coffees and even food options. Great breakfast sandwiches and the staff are accommodating of non dairy alternatives. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their booth design is very cute and I'll keep coming back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was able to get me an iced coffee before my yoga workout this morning so that was a plus because even though the line was very long, it moved very quickly and my drink was ready immediately! That was pretty cool. I will definitely go back for more coffee and even try the juices that they offer. I would also like to try the food that they have but for now I will just stick with the drinks.

grabbed an early breakfast here after run club. Line is usually longer but tends to move quickly. This time I got the TBR with an Arnold Palmer. I usually get hot coffee, but after a run, I needed a refresher! the TBR was plain and delicious. Ciabatta bread was very soft and doughy. They even hooked me up with a refill on the Arnold Palmer. Workers are pleasant enough given how many customers they have to deal with daily. Definitely a nice staple in armature works.

Perfect pick-me-up after a 6 mile run, The oranges were a really sweet add-on with the TBR sandwich. Super soft and fluffy ciabatta bread with savory turkey breast and a super rich and creamy aïoli sauce. The cookie was pretty good definitely not the best in tampa, but the salt was a nice touch. The coffee is good, on the lighter side as I got half caf and skim milk.

Buddy Brew's Caramel Latte was the perfect start to my Sunday walk on the Riverwalk. Their Caramel Latte was delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. There was a a bit of a wait at 9:30AM, but it was worth it.

Looked this place up when visiting Tampa Coffee was yummy. The line was a little long on a Sunday around noon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the vibe of the market was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was disappointed though that I didn't get the little cool doggo cup that I saw on other yelp reviews :( * Instead for generic white cups which was not as cute

Buddy Brew must have the best coffee because the line was long. However the baristas worked diligently to get those orders out fast. I opted for a sparkling sunrise refresher since I visited on a really hot day. It was delicious and I would try it again. I wish they had more tea options.

Very good coffee and very nice staff. I had an americano a couple of times and I had the buddy brew screw a couple of times. Interesting drink where they give you salt two shots of espresso and then fresh grapefruit juice. They're very good coffee for the local area remind me of caribou up in Minnesota. I'll make sure to stop back again next time I'm in Tampa.

Waiting in line was kinda fun because they have a few things to look at such as their roaster where they make their own beans which is pretty cool. I ended up buying a bag of their beans and it also comes with a free black or americano coffee. Or if you don't want an extra cup you can add an extra shot for free into a drink you bought. Ordered the strawberry matcha and honey shaken espresso. The matcha is super good and it definitely makes my list of matcha places. The coffee was good but since there were three shots, my husband drank it cause it was too strong for me. Also got the breakfast sandwich was was a bit spicy but SO GOOD!! It's got a lot of flavor! They allow cute doggos in the place so it's fun seeing them come in lol Parking is not the best as you either park in the garage or the one directly across from sparkman which is paid so expect to add that in your coffee trip. Overall they were flavorful. One of the times I feel they didn't make it right and it was bitter and not enough milk. That's one of the 5 or so coffees I had here. Then I had one almond croissant and one baklava croissant. I'd say the baklava once was great with the flavor seemed to be baked in. The almond one was also fine but had more evident paste spread on it.

Honestly, the whole experience just kept getting worse and the customer service isn't amazing (I'm not a picky person about customer service). Rather just go to a coffee shop that is less complicated. This place is super cute though so if you need IG pics definitely give it a try.

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.
