    inside is very work friendly

Really work-friendly space. Also was so pleasantly surprised by a special vegan menu! The cold brew was fantastic and there's a quiet room for very focused working. Only thing is parking and/or access to this spot is not free but it's a very cute shop once inside.

I am always looking for a cute coffee spot whenever I visit a new area and this one popped up so I had to check it out. I believe the owner was working when I visited, she was very professional and made sure to ask me questions to ensure I ordered the correct drink. I took advantage of their special which was a pumpkin s'mores latte which was delicious. Athough we went close to closing time, they did not make us feel like we had to rush and leave. We also had the vegan Jamaican beef patty and it tasted vegan. if I were vegan, I'd order jt again.

Oh, for cute! The whimsy! The sass! The morning light! Why am I not here every stinkin' day? I'll work on that. But first, this review! Lady & The Mug is in the Grand Central area-just south of Oxford Exchange (near the University of Tampa). It's on the bottom floor, corner, of a tall building (likely residential). I'm told there's a parking garage (look for the retail spaces), but I found street parking, around 8am on a Tuesday. This place has spunk-and it's right there on the front door. Inside, it's cute and modern, stylish and young, with tons of personality. There's a pastry case that packs lots of variety and fun names. There's also a grab and go case and, of course, beverages galore. I went with the hot matcha and a guava and cheese turnover. Oh yeah, good stuff. And so many places to sit and enjoy it-a couch, little tables, a room you can make private and even a large table with swings. (yes!) People were in there studying-working-chatting-or like me, just staring and basking in the glow. (I was rebuilding after a long night at work) Next time, I'll swing! And next time might come tomorrow! The baristas are so fast and efficient! I'll ask for their recommendations. See ya there!

This was a cute little coffee shop. I'd seen it before but never ventured in. My friends and I met up here and loved the atmosphere. The best part was the table with swings! It made you feel like a kid again but enjoying your coffee! We got there on a Saturday morning, so it was semi-busy, but it seemed to progress smoothly and not hold up wait times. We each got something different, so it was nice to see the different drinks as they came prepared. The wall art and cute decor kept our attention. I would come back here and hang out for sure!

This place is adorable!! The cold brew was spectacular and actually pretty cheap, not to mention the cute cup it came in too! I'll definitely be coming back here to do some work, as they have such a cozy vibe and even a quiet room that can be closed off. 10/10 spot!

This is the place! Such chill work vibes. It was decently quiet with good lowkey music. The baristas were so friendly. Very approachable menu and super cute glassware and plates. It was clean and inviting, lots of space and free wifi! I stumbled upon this place after planning to go to Oxford exchange but forgetting you have to PAY for their wifi. This was a breath of fresh air!

I felt so welcomed and relaxed here. Plenty of seating, warm friendly staff, super cute aesthetic, perfect selfie bathroom and great coffee.

Such a cute place! Great vanilla latte-sugar free too!!! Everyone loved their visit while we were in Tampa.

Mother Clucker and the Holla Challah (challah bread with egg and cheese) and Pumpkin Muffin!

The Lady and the Mug is absolutely adorable and delicious!! The inside is set up so cute and inviting. We were there early so not a lot of guests so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Super close to campus and the service was very helpful! There's a free parking garage for them behind the cafe that's convenient. We ordered the seasonal drink Salted Maple Latte and ice chai latte. Also got the Mother Clucker (chicken sausage with egg and cheese on croissant with fig jam) and the Holla Challah (challah bread with egg and cheese) and Pumpkin Muffin! Everything was so delicious and out of this world! You won't be disappointed so come check this place out!

The service, coffee, pastries and ambiance are the reason this will be my go to coffee spot when I visit Tampa. I had a caramel vanilla latte, glazed donut and mini cinnamons. I did not know exactly what to pick when I entered but the friendly staff were very helpful. I loved the mini couches we set on and they even have a co worker space.

Nice chic little place, room to sit down if you want to. The coffee and the food are worth it.

Really good iced latte in a fun glass. Chocolate was delightful as well. The seating all felt a bit crowded. I tried the quiet room as I was by myself but it smelled like old standing water in there, perhaps because it was next to the bathroom. Switched to a couch. Ok ambiance but again, all the seating felt too crowded. I'm come back for another latte

Spending a day in Tampa with my mentee, we decided to start our day at this cute local coffee shop. It was quaint, lively and service was pretty quick considering it was only two baristas working the counter at the time. Both baristas were really nice. The food was pretty good. They serve standard coffee shop pastries and sandwiches. If you are looking for anything heavier to put on your stomach, this may not be the best option. But for quick, light bites to eat, this is a great spot. I got the guava and cheese puff pastry alongside the lavender matcha latte with oat milk. Both were amazing, but the highlight was definitely the lavender matcha latte. Price points were great and the overall decor - though very tight - was cute. I really loved that they have a co-working space if you wanted to work there as well as a table with swings for seats! That added a cute and playful effect to the overall coffee shop. All in all, great little spot!

I honestly went back and forth on whether I needed to update this review, because there's a lot to love about this place. The quality of the food and coffee is consistently great, and the space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. That said, I still can't give it 5 stars due to service gaps. There isn't a designated person clearing or wiping tables, so when you're lucky enough to get one, you have to track down someone behind the counter ~ usually in the middle of cashiering or making drinks ~ to ask for it to be cleaned. Also, every single time food is brought out, utensils are never included. I truly like this place and it remains one of my regular spots for breakfast or brunch, and I'll continue coming back. I just hope the owners read these reviews and take this feedback to heart, because with small service improvements, this place could easily be a 5-star experience.

They do not have matcha. 3. They do not have food. These days coffee makes my body feel weirddddd so I was a bit staggered when I walked in and realized those 3 things since I was here with a bike group and I really needed some food. I considered having coffee anyway but without food and being on a 15+ mile bike ride, I wasn't trying to have a medical episode so I decided to try their chai tea latte. It was truly delicious!! It got me home and able to eat so thank god for that! Some of the rest of my party got the herbal tea and the way it was served was super cool. It had me intrigued. But if you like coffee, everyone said it was delicious. The fact that they have a latte on draft is pretty amazing as well. I loved the location because it's kind of ducked off in the corner which is why I had never been there before. But above all else, the amount of pups here were enough to make me return time and time again. I met the cutest greyhounds which are my fav so my soul was happy.
