I saw this little cafe on Instagram and really wanted to stop in for a visit, I came one afternoon and it's just as cute in person as it looks on social media. There were a few people sitting inside when I arrived, and it isn't a huge space, but it didn't feel crowded at all, which was nice. I ordered the Americana latte, which is a special drink item on the menu through July 8th...I'm not the biggest fan of fruity flavors in my coffee but this drink was so good! The aesthetic is very cute inside - it feels very clean, modern, and yet very welcoming and warm. I also ordered the dulce de leche cheesecake to-go and it was delish. Will stop in again for sure when I'm back in the South Tampa area.

Salted Honey Shakened Espresso and Cookie Butter Latte

The vibe, decor, aesthetic is so pretty and showcases the cuban culture in the photos. Sufficient parking. Booth seatings and tables. Coffee was good. I'd visit back for other drinks. My only critique is the flavors could be adjusted. I ordered the salted honey shaken espresso, it was good BUT it was more like a cinnamon shaken espresso. I didn't get any notes of honey or salt. My coworker got the cookie butter latte, loved the cold foam but also felt it could be more cookie butter forward. For them to be right outside of the base and a high traffic area for AM workers, the AM opening time can be a little inconsistent - so I advise checking their Instagram. Time adjustments are posted in the bio the day of.

iced vanilla latte and mango refresher

My first visit to Kubana Kafe was great! ! I love that they have a variety of refreshers and juices to choose from (perfect for non-coffee drinkers). I tried a mango refresher with light lemonade and it had just the right amount of sweetness without being too tart. They also offer a strawberry or dragon fruit refresher - all of which you can get made with water, coconut milk, or lemonade. My sister ordered an iced vanilla latte and said her drink was delicious. We split an order of egg bites and they were just as good as the drinks! The workers were very kind and made great recommendations for food/drink items. This is a great spot to work or study at, as they have a decent amount of seating, power outlets, and wifi. Can't wait to stop by again!

The Spanish Omelet Egg Bites and Con Leche were delicious! Friendly and fast service. Cute and clean space, too. We will be back!

Kubana Kafe is one of my favorite coffee spots. I love their shaken café con leche, it is seriously so good and super smooth, and the toasted coconut latte was also a standout for me. The café itself is really clean and nicely decorated, with a calm, inviting feel. It is a great place to work or study while sipping on really great coffee without feeling rushed or crowded.

Kubana Kafe is a total gem. The vibe is warm and inviting, the service is friendly and attentive, and the flavors seriously deliver. The guava brown sugar latte was to die for perfectly balanced, rich, and honestly one of those drinks that makes you pause because it's that good. You can tell everything here is made with care and quality ingredients. It's the kind of place you instantly want to come back to and bring friends along. If you're looking for something unique, comforting, and full of flavor, Kubana Kafe does not disappoint

Spanish Latte

This is my go-to coffee shop by my house! I've tried the Spanish latte, dulce de leche latte, and cafe con leche latte. They have all been amazing. The good taste is consistent every-time I go. I have also tried their chicken empanada, Cuban tostada and egg bites. Also very delicious. The owner is very personable and always makes sure to say hi and ask about your day. The shop is also very aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend this small business.

Ever since having tried them out at another Yelp Elite experience, I have been yearning for their…read morebaked good (especially croissants) once again, so, when I saw that they had a NEW location and it wasn't far away from me at all, I was like, "OMG, I'm IN!!!!" So with the help of Google Maps, I found went on my magical journey there and found the place. On the outside, I see lovely calligraphy and art depicting bread and baked goods, so I know I've found the right place! It was a hot day, so the outside seating was empty. Lovely, considering that I have my sweet baby Muffin with me who accompanies me to all my adventures. The seating is covered with large umbrellas, and there's fake grass on the ground for an added whimsical touch. Bear in mind, dogs are not allowed inside the bakery--including when you go inside to pay. Spoke to the man up front, and he explains that if I'm ever uncomfortable of leaving her, they could come out with handheld card reader and take my order that way. Good to know, but I could see Muffin through the window, and I wasn't going to be long, so I parked her outside and got my order, which they brought right out to me. The one thing I zeroed in on was the Nutellla croissant. I love Nutella. I love croissants. I really love Chef and the Baker croissants, so this was the PERFECT choice. I paired it with a hazelnut latte--hot, of course because I'm crazy in this Florida heat which was at 90 degrees, but I insist on it being hot--and I thought this was a perfect pairing. My order was brought out promptly. The croissant was a perfect size, large, but not overwhelming, sprinkled with powdered sugar and a little bit of Nutella peeking out of edges hinting to me what's inside. I take one bite, and this thing is LOADED. They did not skimp on the Nutella whatsoever, and every bite had a good amount to remind me that it's there. The hot hazelnut latte was the perfect finish for my treat, smooth, bold, with just the right amount of hazelnut flavor. Next time I come back, I'll make sure its not so hot, but part of me thought I should have gotten the BTS UBE Iced Latte, which sounded DELICIOUS and probably would've helped me out with the heat. Oh well. Lesson learned, and I guess I'll just have to come back.

Cinnamon roll - 8.5/10 the frosting was perfect and thick! One of the better cinnamon rolls I've come across! S'more cronut - 5/10 this was dense, hard on the outside, overly sweet, and I didn't love the filling flavor. Breakfast empanadas - 7/10 tasty! Def recommend! Empanada dough was flaky and delicious. Filling was dry but still flavorful. Strawberry croissant - 8.5/10 yes! Lovely texture! Amazing flavor. Definitely get the croissants! The service was wonderful! Everyone working there is lovely. The bakery itself is adorable! Very small so seating goes quick and line gets long but they move people through the line fast. Definitely recommend going! Well worth the stop!

The idea of a mobile coffee cart is nothing new, but what if the coffee cart was a converted…read moreJapanese truck that also served coffee? Now we're talking. The coffee: a bourbon vanilla latte over ice, against a hot spring day. Perfection. A silky smooth taste that lasts through the entire cup. Not too sweat, not too bitter. Just right. The ambience couldn't be better as it's mobile, amongst older cars at a car meetup being a converted truck. Casa Azul's mobile coffee cart/ truck is a unique additional to a crowded coffee scene in the Pinellas/ Hillsborough County area with exceptional customer service. The two baristas were straight forward and to the point. Being able to indulge in cars and coffee, I'd be happy to drink some of their coffee again with or without classic cars to compensate.

Cute place to get coffee on my way from errands to home…read more Casa Azul had been on my radar for years, but because they were located on the other side of South Tampa from me, it just never happened. Once they started their coffee truck on the corner of Gandy and MacDill (the parking lot of Yogurtology), they became an easy choice for me, and I was able to stop by. You can order online in advance, but you can also order on-site. There's staff to talk you through the menu and make suggestions. I believe the vanilla bourbon latte is supposed to be the least sweet and the banoffee latte is the sweetest? All the syrups are house made. I tried the horchata iced latte. It was delicious. It only took a few minutes after my order was placed. Prices were a little higher than Starbucks, but if everything is housemade, there's a value to that! The breakfast burritos looked pretty good, and I'd happily return to try them out.
