After 3 hours, they called to inform me that this specific tow was not covered by my insurance policy. I don't understand why they took so long to inform me that the tow was not covered. Yesterday, I requested a flat tire change service, and waited on the side of the road for 1 hour and 45 minutes before I was called to be told the driver had entered the wrong address, and was going to be another hour at least. The driver than proceeded to tell me I should have a tool in my car to remove my tire after I had requested the assistance stating I didn't have the proper tools, and then told me he might not have the tools to remove/change the tire. Today, I am driving back to my abandoned vehicle to fix the issue before I go into work. Years ago I had to request a tow truck to pick up my vehicle and drive it to a mechanic locally, the driver crashed into my front porch damaging my staircase, and then spun the vehicle wheels over the neighbors lawn "before loading the vehicle" onto the tow truck. I'm not really sure what else to say, it doesn't seem like a very challenging job, the rhetoric/blatant disagreeing worker was exhausting, and extremely unhelpful. For the record the confusion with the address was over a "rd, vs lane" between two cities, and at the very least to resolve this issue, just call someone in advance, especially if you're going to take 3/4 hours to drive somewhere that is 7 miles away, and don't make excuses, or try to tell the person requesting the service how to do it themselves. Updated to three stars today for a tow, of previous days work. The driver still took 2.5 hours, I'm sure the automated system from AAA roadside is a little off, but the driver was kind and closed our trunk. read more

After my daughter denied him he began harassing her on social media and has been giving out her personal information to random guys on 4chan. After waiting 30 mins I called and was given an ETA of 8 minutes. I waited about 45 minutes for my driver to arrive from Trinidad. Mind you I'm located less than .5 miles from their shop in Arcata. Travelling through the mountains in California the trucks transmission failed. Not only were we stranded but we were in a No Internet area for 15 miles on an extremely hot day. With the kindness of a couple of ladies they took our CAA information and once they got to the next town with WIFI they called us a tow truck. Dakota from Buddy's towing came to the rescue. He made sure that we found a hotel for the night and dropped our truck off at a garage. He assured us that we were not going to be left stranded. Sometimes Heros wear coveralls, and drive tow trucks. My car lost all power suddenly leaving my vehicle completely disabled. It was freezing cold outside and pouring rain JC got the car loaded and unloaded and made sure we were ok while we waited. The car could not be put in neutral meaning he had to put in work to get it moved. I know it wasn't easy and he had to be freezing but he just got it done. Our car was stuck in the sand on a Sunday. After calling 2 other places and hearing "we don't have a way to get you out", seemed like no one could help us and we'd have to abandon our car. Finally we called Buddy's and after a few minutes the operator said what we'd been hoping for, "he can get you out. He will call you when he leaves." Chris then called me, asked me to direct him to where I was, instructed me to use my iPhone and send my current location so he knew exactly where we'd be. About an hour later, he arrived on time. We were saved! He had a specialized vehicle to drive on sand and was able to get us back to pavement in thirty minutes! He then allowed us to use his air compressor to inflate our tires. Since we weren't from the area, he told us where we could find a place to wash our car to get the sand out from underneath our car to prevent any other damage. Thankful that we didn't lose our car to to ocean and have to walk with 2 dogs, a toddler and an infant (not to mention the other things we brought)!
