The place was packed and he was the sole customer service provider that day. He handled each customer with care and patience. Even when customers were obviously upset about waiting! He was attentive, focused on customer satisfaction, and even cheerful. I was very impressed with this young man and his cool composure. Someone reward this guy $$ and give him the recognition he deserves. Highly recommend his services. Thank you Sean, I appreciate good humans.

When I asked "wow, you guys haven't even left yet?", I was told that "things happen". It takes 15 minutes from their location to mine. I'm sitting here wondering when and if they're going to show up at all. If you make a reservation for a specific time, isn't that time suppose to be honored? I realize that "things happen" but people also have "jobs" and "responsibilities" so it would be appreciated if this business would tend to their, which is not the case today. Edit 7hrs later: So my ride ended up showing up at 9:45am. I was mostly upset because whenever I spoke to on the phone was short, unprofessional, and made me worry that I was going to be picked up at all and/or that I would be late to work. Dan, the rep that showed up, was awesome. As soon as he approached me and started talking to me, I was almost instantaneously calmed. He presented himself as someone that was kind, caring, and one who goes above and beyond for their customers. He was thorough and I enjoyed working with him through the process of actually getting behind the wheel. Dan turned my day around and I truly appreciate his level and effort and professionalism.

Got no correspondence from them confirming the pickup so I began calling the location this morning at 8 when they opened. No answer after about 10 calls so I drove over there from the repair shop to confirm the rental. The "worker" was busy with a personal call that she had on speaker phone. Finally, she rolled her eyes at me and asked what I wanted. I explained about the scheduled pickup. She said something to the effect of, "we ain't not got no cars for a pickup today." and went back to her call. That's about all I needed to hear. If you choose to patronize this business, good luck!

A day before I was scheduled to pick up, I received a call saying that the location had closed, and that there were no cars available within the city limits to honor my reservation. No offer of "We can refund your money" or anything. Just, "That location is closed and there's no car for you. Sorry." I went to the location anyway, just to see if there was anyone I could talk to. Turns out, the location was just a desk inside the Westlake DoubleTree lobby. When I asked the hotel lobby clerk about the Hertz location, she immediately put her hands up and said "We are not affiliated with them. All I know is that something happened with them last weekend, and a bunch of cops showed up, and now their location at our hotel is closed." Then it took two hours of sitting on hold for Hertz corporate on hold to get them to refund my money. There was also a pre-recorded announcement when I called that said I would be charged an additional 5% if I spoke to a "live customer service assistant." Be aware of that inane charge, if you're weighing out different rental car companies. So all in all, a pretty crummy experience with this company, and not just the sketchy (and now-closed) Westlake DoubleTree location. I would recommend people avoid Hertz unless they wanna get Hurtz.

This…read morelast time started off rough with a poor experience due to incorrect information given to me from the general Alamo number. To make this clear, I was not given the incorrect information from the Cleveland location, but it affected my experience due to it. The staff at the Cleveland Alamo location were very friendly and understanding of my situation, and were sure to find me a manager to speak with. The manager I spoke with, Jonathan, was very professional and kind. He also had great customer service and made my poor experience better and because of Jonathan I will continue to rent with Alamo when visiting Cleveland. Thank you Jonathan!

I rented a car for a short trip out of state. When we arrived, it was hard to find someone to help…read moreus. We quickly learned that they were understaffed and the girl was moving as quickly as possible. When we finally got sort, we our car and we were on our way to check out at the main gain (only one gate was open because again, understaffed) so the line had about 6 cars waiting (this was the exit for all of the car rentals). Once it was our turn, we were sent back again because he noticed our plates were expired. So we got in another car but told that it was the wrong car. We finally got into our car, waited in the car check out line again and we were in our way. The staff was really nice and checking out was easier because you just leave your car (though if were damaged after you left it, you'd have a hard time proving it). Luckily, we didn't have any issues. I'd try them again and chalk up the slowness and miscommunication to having a lack of staff due to the pandemic.

I left my phone number and asked for a call when it arrived. Needless to say I'm still waiting for that call almost a week later. I has to call 3 family members with cars to come out of their way to come help me take the kids where we needed to go. To not even get a call for any updates was just crazy. They were very friendly and took the time to help me be comfortable with what I was getting. However, it seems I was limited to only a few cars that were all SUV or bigger; I hate these cars and never reserve them, but to help them out in whatever their situation was, I was willing to sacrifice (especially during Holy Week). The options included a Nissan Rogue and Kia Sorento, but I was not going with the Kia due to the thefts that have been going on. So, I went with the rogue. I was not thrilled with the service given here as the rogue smelled either like marijuana or some other kind of smoke, which was very nauseating, and the gas wasn't even filled up all the way. I don't even know if the tried to get the smell out, but they did fill the tank for me upon my request, and all this took practically a half hour to get me the car. It was a rough time. The way the rogue drove was good, but you could tell it had seen better days -- the inside was seemingly messy and stained throughout; doesn't seem like this car got a lot of attention prior to coming to me for renting. Now you may be asking at this point why did I rate it a 5? When I got back and told the manager, Bryce, what had happened, he was very kind about the situation and took off a good chunk of the bill and a provided a good discount on my next rental, which I did appreciate and was good customer service that you don't see a whole lot anymore these days. This makes me at least more comfortable renting with them again in the future.

I left it with maybe I'll hear from you but I doubt it. Returned car a day late because I was with my mother who was dying and then find out when I check my bank account I had been charged for one day. No communication from office whatsoever. I reached out to Customer Service twice with no reply. Enterprise treated me horribly, was not honest and it will be hard to use their services ever again even if it is where my insurance company sends me.
