I was renting a car for 3 days and when I got there, they helped me almost immediately as I walked in the door. They were very friendly and took the time to help me be comfortable with what I was getting. However, it seems I was limited to only a few cars that were all SUV or bigger; I hate these cars and never reserve them, but to help them out in whatever their situation was, I was willing to sacrifice (especially during Holy Week). The options included a Nissan Rogue and Kia Sorento, but I was not going with the Kia due to the thefts that have been going on. So, I went with the rogue. I was not thrilled with the service given here as the rogue smelled either like marijuana or some other kind of smoke, which was very nauseating, and the gas wasn't even filled up all the way. I don't even know if the tried to get the smell out, but they did fill the tank for me upon my request, and all this took practically a half hour to get me the car. It was a rough time. The way the rogue drove was good, but you could tell it had seen better days -- the inside was seemingly messy and stained throughout; doesn't seem like this car got a lot of attention prior to coming to me for renting. Now you may be asking at this point why did I rate it a 5? When I got back and told the manager, Bryce, what had happened, he was very kind about the situation and took off a good chunk of the bill and a provided a good discount on my next rental, which I did appreciate and was good customer service that you don't see a whole lot anymore these days. This makes me at least more comfortable renting with them again in the future. read more

Despite reservation 2 weeks ahead of time with upgrade for a small SUV, only car available was a Challenger with promise to call as soon as one was available. I called repeated times to be given excuses: call back at 3:30 , one just went out, if one comes back it has to be cleaned and maintenance oil change if necessary, no cars on the lot, you can go to another Enterprise, vacation time and didn't you hear what happened in Cleveland? I left it with maybe I'll hear from you but I doubt it. Returned car a day late because I was with my mother who was dying and then find out when I check my bank account I had been charged for one day. No communication from office whatsoever. I reached out to Customer Service twice with no reply. Enterprise treated me horribly, was not honest and it will be hard to use their services ever again even if it is where my insurance company sends me. read more

I am very excited to have found this rental location so close to my house (3.2 miles) in the past I would always have to drive to CLE Airport to pick up my rental which was a pain in the ass. This location has the courtesy pickup/drop off option as well as onsite parking. HUGE! I called today and spoke with Jarrett and he walked me through making a reservation and answered all of my questions. Jarrett your professionalism was noted, I hope management reads these reviews because they have a great employee. I have had to use Enterprise in Avon, Ohio, twice, because my car was being repaired and they are who my insurance company covers. Both times, Enterprise required me to give them my credit card for a deposit (understandable). Both times, after I turned their vehicle in, they charged my card for weird fees, upgrades, and their insurance (which I declined when I first received their vehicle). 1st time was over $1000 - I almost had a heart attack when the charge popped up on my card. I called and they were like, oops... and they returned the money. Second time they charged my card for a vehicle upgrade, I was supposed to get an econo car but they didn't have one so they gave me a mini van, I was assured I did not have to pay the difference because that's all they had. They charged my card almost $300. After I called them, I was told the manager was out of town and they'd get back to me..... I called corporate. I never received a call back, but they did reimburse me. My point is, BEWARE and check your charges. I understand mistakes happen, but twice??? read more

My car rental was great that's not what this review is about I have gotten cars from enterprise here in Avon a handful of times and I've really never had a problem until this time . I am a handicap driver so I need adaptions in my car when I called up to Avon a month prior I thought everything was done four days before I got my rental I was given a phone call saying I needed to call corporate because they needed to confirm stuff for my adaptions. OK not a big deal but wish I would have been told when I called the first time instead of having an extra phone call. the day of the rental got in the car there was a not even 2 gallons of gas left in the car and I found out later that day that all four tires were 10 pounds under suggested air pressure. it was under my assumption that before the cars go out especially for people who have adaptions that a once over is conducted to make sure that the car is in proper working order that also includes proper air pressure in the tires .Am I nitpicking possibly but these are things that I think should be done before every car goes out so that there are no safety issues. read more

The Avon Enterprise is great! My rental car broke down in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday night and had to take an expensive Uber to my destination. We'll sure enough, they deducted the price of the Uber from my bill. Thanks again to Jarrett for all the help! read more
