It was clear that Gia, the bridal consultant, measured me incorrectly from the beginning. This was incredibly disappointing--especially so close to my big day. I immediately left and took my dress to Wedding Gown Alterations by John, where they had to take in 4 inches at the waist just to make the dress wearable. The total cost of alterations came to $1,200, on top of what had already paid for the gown. This is not the experience or service I expected from a high-end boutique. I'm sharing this review so that other brides don't go through the same emotional stress I did. Double-check your measurements and confirm every detail--don't rely on the boutique's reputation alone.
