We had a great experience with Otto replacing a vanity countertop and fireplace from old granite tile to marble. He was very communicative during the process, his prices were fair, and it's clear he cares deeply about his customers' experiences. His team was really quick - some places we talked to were quoting out months in advance, but these guys got it done in 2 weeks. I'm beyond thrilled with how it turned out! We still need to do a little clean up in the pictures below but you can see the end result; it looks so much better!

Otto and his team were awesome! Very fast install! Looks great! His prices are beyond reasonable. I will be referring my clients there for their remodeling and updating needs. Thank you Otto!

Great work by Otto and the team. He finished the installation of the countertop in literally 2 days! I appreciate the speed and the quality!

Amazing counter for a wet bar.

We made a last-minute stop at Budget after getting a referral from our cabinet maker. I'm happy to say that it was one of the best decisions we made in our downstairs remodel. Otto was super busy with customers who were looking at remnant pieces of countertop materials. He happily greeted us and invited us to take a look at the product that was available. There were a ton of options for our little project. There were a ton of options if we had a larger project as well. After we selected the quartz that we wanted, we were given a fair quote for our small wet bar. The rest of the process went smoothly, from measuring, to scheduling an install. Otto did a great job keeping in touch with us along the way. His installers when above and beyond when they showed up at the end of the day to put in the counter. They were super courteous and professional; I couldn't have been more impressed with this company and our new wet-bar counter. Our kitchen remodel is next, and we will definitely be returning to see Otto when that time comes.

    Bathroom niche framing

I made an emergency call to them a couple weeks ago. I was remodeling my bathroom and due to the quick pace of the construction schedule I needed a few pieces of stone to frame out my bathroom niche. In under 4 hours he was able to cut and polish the framing and it fit perfectly! It makes my bathroom look like a million bucks! Highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be getting my countertops done there when I remodel my kitchen. Thanks for your help Otto!

Short: Great customer service, great prices, outstanding work. Will recommend to everyone. Long: We went to a big name counter top place and were unimpressed with their selection and service. As I started looking around for other options I was surprised by the conversation I initially had with Otto when I called BGS. He wanted to know what I was trying to do, and genuinely helped me problem solve to get the look I wanted within my budget based on our conversation. He came out and measured twice and cut once, returned our calls within reason, and worked with in our availability to get the work done (which is super important for busy working people like us) We're super happy with the results, and know you will be too if you hire them to do the work. Check out the before and after photos I'v attached!

I was referred here from a co-worker and in turn I would definitely refer Otto and team to others. Otto was great to work with. He got everything I asked for in a very quick turnover time. His pricing is great and the job looks fantastic. Since the price was lower than expected I was able to add a new counter top to my upstairs bathroom as well as the kitchen upgrade.

Otto and his team did an amazing job with our countertops. They were very professional, and happy to complete the job with our crazy short timeline. They never once complained about our awkward entry or having to carry those heavy pieces upstairs. I would definitely recommend them.

Otto is truly a man of his word. He told me he could come and install everything by a specific time period and he delivered. My countertops look amazing! He was friendly and caring throughout the entire process and made sure keep me in the loop of everything. I couldn't be happier! Everything he has is quartz as well! High quality stuff at a reasonable price. Highly recommend using him for these types of services.

    Yay no seaming required!

Spectacular results and finished in one day! I purchased quartz countertops along with demo, installation, and plumbing services from Otto and his team. I actually was initially going with IKEA until I realized the poor terms and conditions and wait time. The price was really not much better with IKEA either. Otto was very pleasant to work with and coordinate on the phone. Texting and emailing (my preferred method) is not super reliable, as they are using their hands most of the time. I was impressed at their ability to maneuver big trucks in the city and get a large slab up into my condo. Look at the photos, it's gorgeous.

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.

The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!

They were a pleasure working with from selecting the stone in the office, measuring our kitchen, to installing. We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. Installation was quick and easy. We're very happy we went with Integrity.

Before moving forward, I asked several reasonable clarification questions about what was included in the quote, such as removal/disposal, templating, fabrication, delivery, plumbing or appliance reconnection, timeline, etc which was unclear in the quote. Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company.
