Even when it was busy, she was everywhere, keeping everything clean, full, and running smoothly while constantly checking in with guests. She brought such a genuine, positive energy to the space. What really stood out was how she connected with people. She took the time to show my son how things worked and explain why, and I saw her doing the same for other families. We brought our dog, Freddy Sue, this time around, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to fellow dog owners looking to take their pup to a dog friendly town. It is a $70 charge which is steep, but was worth it to us in terms of peace of mind, especially with the off peak rate of this hotel on a Saturday to Sunday being $140. The beds are SO comfortable and I had such an awesome night's rest. Of course, the location cannot be beat. In the non-COVID times, we bopped from restaurant to restaurant drinking our way through the town and it was amazing to be able to come right back to the center of town as home base. UPDATE: I complained on my survey and was contacted by a customer service representative and they gave the company response "sorry for your bad experience we will try hard" which I replied, typical response, I don't believe you even read my additional comments. I said that there was a time when customers were compensated for bad experiences but now it is , we got your money, sorry. About a hour later a got a reply that half my money was being refunded. So at least they are trying so I changed my rating to 2 stars for the effort.

Decor was fine, nothing special, but good enough. Heating/AC worked fine and overall this was a nice place to stay. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Now for a bit of nitpicking. The view from my room was to the front canopy. The room had no USB ports to use in charging my phone or any other modern electronics, at this point I have come to expect that all I need is a USB cord. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim to my liking. The breakfast overall was fine with some nice touches, however they were out of quite a few items: no regular tea, no yogurt, pancake machine not working, and no hot cereal. We made use of the pool & tap room again, also found time to play chess & Scrabble in one of the sitting rooms downstairs. This is REALLY a great place all-around to come to relax/recharge! Service on both visits has been impeccable. I've been in other B&Besque venues, but this is hands-down the best. And Warren itself is a nice laid-back town, with eateries, brewpubs ...and things to do within a decent driving distance. I'm seriously thinking we may end up being regular Hazeltine customers! The historic old house has a cozy feel and each room has so many details. I stayed in the Bella room and the bed was so comfortable. There is even a multi port usb charger by the bed. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. Definitely stay here if you find yourself in Warren.
