Ambiance!

We stayed here recently and OMG I didn't want to leave. The sunsets here over lake Chautauqua are unmatched. The room was very nice and the bed super comfortable. Shower was amazing as well. We will be back!

I love staying around the Chautauqua area, and by far, the best place to stay is the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. It's situated in Celoron right on the water. The views of the lake and the boats are simply lovely. There is plenty of lawn area, good parking, a great restaurant with both indoor and outdoor patio dining, and a bar. As it is all entirely on one floor, there are no stairways to climb or elevators to wait for. Harbor Hotel exudes a delightful atmosphere enhanced with large open spaces and a classy décor. Everything is spotlessly clean and the service is top-notch. The rooms are of modern design, extra spacious and each with good views.

Wonderful accommodations! I loved my room...fresh, modern and clean. The mattress was comfy too! The property is on the lake and really lovely. There's lots to do. They have a small indoor pool and a small gym. Both are adequate. The meeting room was great! Large windows, actually doors, that let in light. Comfortable seating and good technology for our slide shows. Marcy, waitress for the meeting room, was so attentive. We had a colleague who made special requests that she graciously fulfilled. My only negative observation is that the front desk staff wasn't especially or friendly or enthusiastic when I arrived. They needed pep and to at least fake a little happiness when a new guest arrives.

This hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and the views are incredible. I stayed on the water view side and I loved my room. I had a table and sitting area in my room with a great balcony too. The hotel food was good. A little difficult with a gluten allergy but not bad. The hotel is clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Lucille Ball Park is next door. There are plenty areas to walk and sit to enjoy the view of the Lake. I look forward to returning.

Fantastic place to stay, even in the dead of winter, we enjoyed the beauty of the hotel and the lakeside location. Situated a couple miles outside of Jamestown, it's close to the National Comedy Center and anything you might want to do in town, but feels so far removed on the shore of the beautiful Chautauqua Lake. Located next to the Lucille Ball Memorial Park and on the grounds of Celoron Park, the hotel is full of photos of the old Celoron Park and its amusements. There is a bar and restaurant on site. We didn't eat there but the bar was quite crowded on a Monday night and the food smelled great! Very reasonable rates, especially mid-week during the winter like we did. They also offer AAA discounts and a comedy center package that includes tickets to the National Comedy Center and the Lucy museum. There is even a little preview of the Comedy Center in the lobby. Our room, a king with lake view and patio was wonderful, they actually upgraded us from standard lake view to the patio room. We didn't take advantage of it as it was too cold, but it had a table and chairs which would be wonderful in warmer months. I loved the colors in the room and throughout the hotel, very relaxing and pretty. The artwork was nautical in theme and looked great. Nice sitting area with a desk with two chairs as well as a couch and table. We found the bed to be very comfortable and loved the thick comforter. Loved the shower, very roomy. One of my favorite things about the room was the mirror outside the bathroom. It had a little stool and light up mirror, my own little vanity, it was great! They offer Starbucks coffee stations on each floor, I'm not sure what time they start the coffee in the morning, but it is out until 8 pm. It was a nice set up and as anti social as I am in the morning pre-coffee, it was actually nice to chat with the ladies I met there. The turn down service with chocolates on the pillows were a nice touch also. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they greeted us every time we came and went from the hotel and did a great job going over the amenities. We will definitely be staying here again, can't wait to take advantage of summer weather to enjoy the outdoor pool, fire pits, rocking chairs on the patio and sitting on the benches on the lake soaking in the sun!

Get a room with a balcony! Beautiful inside and out. Rooms are quiet. NOTHING looks chintzy or cheap or worn out. There is no microwave, but you'll survive that.

We spent the weekend at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel and it was great! We had a king lake view balcony room and it was worth paying more. The Shower was huge, the bathroom was nice, and I loved the vanity area outside of the room bathroom to get ready. The balcony was so so nice to have each morning and evening to relax. Coffee every morning on every floor. We got room service breakfast one morning and the latest delivery time was 7:45 Am which I found to be really early still. The breakfast wasn't anything special, the eggs are typical hotel mass produced buffet eggs. It was a special experience to spoil my boyfriend for his birthday though. The bed was really firm, too firm for us to be really comfortable. The putting green was fun and the firepits were only open in the evening if it was dry. There was a wedding while we were there so it was really busy and there were a lot of people. We watched the sunset on the pier. The carousel bar and the outdoor pool weren't open but they open May 25th. Wish there had been a full length mirror.

There is no place like home ... but some aspects of this hotel are better than home. I was travelling for work. I stayed on both the villlage and harbor sides of the hotel. The hotel opened August 2018. My rooms had a king size bed, a couch, and a desk area. I had a balcony in the harbor view room. The huge walk-in shower is at least 7' tall ... wonderful water pressure. Turn down service every night ... jazz music plays on the TV and chocolates. Indoor swimming pool and gym available The restaurant is AWESOME.

This is a beautiful hotel even in the winter it's pretty! Spacious very clean room with a great view of the lake. You know it's classy when you come into your room and there's musicplaying . Okay maybe this is not important to some but it's a nice classy touch when the TP is fan folded on the roll. Nice sitting area to catch a movie after dinner in your room. Nice information pool and hot tub to relax in after a long drive here. Up scale restaurant in the hotel as well. Room service breakfast is available as well . This place would be a great spot to enjoy in the summer and we think we'll be coming back then

The DoubleTree in Jamestown went above and beyond. Upon entering my room, I saw a handwritten note that let me know about all they had done to accommodate my request. The manager had gone out of her way to purchase muffins, breakfast granola bars and oatmeal. She also communicated this to the weekend staff during my visit, who handled this flawlessly. I was super impressed with this kindness and hospitality of the manager and the staff I interacted with during my stay. Beyond that, I thought the breakfast buffet was above average with its many fruit offerings, as well as the standard fare. I ordered an egg white omelette both days, and it was just okay. The room was large and clean. The fitness center had a good collection of equipment, though the hand wipes were empty both days. All in all a very positive experience. Would highly recommend and stay again if I ever return to the area.

The pool was closed for maintenance, she was able to secure access to the pool at a sister property nearby. Terrific customer service! As always, yummy warm cookies, bottles of water, upfront diamond parking, and this location is clean/updated. Even the maintenance guy was friendly and jovial. Plus, a great location for walking to the nearby comedy museum. We did the Lucy sites driving tour as well. What a gorgeous city! THIS is how Hilton is meant to be experienced. Well done, kudos.

1 star. Read this before you book…read more We pulled in after 9pm on a road trip, just wanting a bed for the night. Got room 114, first floor. Walked into the hallway and it was already hot. Air just standing, no circulation. The whole first floor smelled like wet carpet and a poorly ventilated pool area. You know that stale smell rooms get when they've been closed up for a long time with no airflow. That was the smell. Room 114 felt the exact same way. Heavy, still air, same smell. Okay, we'll deal, just need the AC. Set it to 68, cooling mode. Nothing. No air, no fan, the unit didn't even kick on. Tried a couple times. Nothing. I have video. Looked at the window thinking I'd just open it. Bolted shut. Down to the front desk. They had one other room, 100. A staff member came with me to check. Same dead air, same smell in there too. That AC was at least blowing, but the air wasn't cold. He didn't argue. No other rooms available. That was it. So at this point: no working AC in either room, hot stagnant air everywhere, that musty smell, no window I could open, no third option. We called Chase Travel from the lobby and drove to another hotel across the street. When we checked in at the place across the street and explained why we were coming over, the lady at the desk asked, "First floor?" We said yeah. She smiled, shook her head, didn't say anything else. Take that for what it's worth... The real kicker came after. The hotel refused to refund the stay even after I sent them video of the AC not working. Four phone calls to Chase Travel, and an escalation before Chase finally refunded me themselves because the hotel wouldn't. If you're going to book here, at least skip the first floor. Honestly, I'd skip this place entirely.

I had to live in disgusting dirt all over the room 0f the Clarion Pointe Jamestown for my 7 day…read morestay. It was the only hotel available at the time and could not leave as the Hampton just across and other hotels were all booked in October. The walls had food or vomit on them? There was garbage all around the bed with a filthy carpet. The first day I asked the young lady at the desk if she can send someone to clean the carpet as there was dried food or vomit on the floor. That never happened! The air conditioner was full of mold and when turned on it hit you in the face. The toilet and tub had black mold all over. The laundry room was filthy and hadn't been used for a long time. There was ancient black lint in the catcher, and I lost my $2 in quarters to a dryer that didn't work. Thank goodness for a Dollar Tree nearby to be able to buy disinfecting wipes, Lysol, spray cleaner and paper towels. I wiped some vomit off the wall and disinfected the toilet and tub w Lysol and cleaned the mold off the air conditioner as well as the dirty dusty phone and counters. At breakfast, there was a Mexican/Hispanic man with a red face that didn't speak English every morning stealing all the hard-boiled eggs as soon as they are placed in the tray. I watched him put 12 eggs in the small bowl. Reported it to Mr. Patel at the desk but nothing was done. Every morning, he repeated the same routine. Across from my room was a mother daughter who appeared homeless and disheveled. There were many sketchy unkempt people at breakfast and hanging around the hotel creating drama. One lady asked me if I could give her a ride somewhere and another at another time asked if she could travel south with me when I leave and that she would be happy to ride in the trunk. She said its warmer in the south and that she could live better on the streets than she could in cold Jamestown. I asked her questions to find out what's going on with these Druggy looking patrons and she told me that the town is paying for her stay at the Clarion since she just got out of jail. Needless to say, I was frightened to stay there. So apparently there is a program to house homeless people and illegals in this hotel, which they do not tell you. Be Careful at this hotel! PS. forgot to mention that they do not completely take off the incident charge from your charge card after you check out. I called after I left 2 weeks ago and the older Mr Patel told me it would be credited. After another 2 weeks which makes one month since I checked out, the charge was still there so I called my credit card co and reported it. The company gave me credit but not them. They should have paid me for cleaning up their room! Be careful and wary of unexplained charges on your card way after you leave!
