We attended the Tanner Gun Show in this venue and the venue worked very well for this event. The building is huge, well laid out and has plenty of parking. The restrooms are clean and well located. They have a small snack grill that serves some simple, good food. Burgers etc. The gun show itself was great and I added a few new toys to my collection. I really enjoy gun shows, as does my wife. This building is perfect for these types of shows. read more

My third time here, second for a concert. The sound system rocks for a small venue. Concessions are limited so plan some time standing in line and double up that bevvie order (play it safe!) Offerings include the traditional dogs and pizza but we enjoyed street tacos. The ladies working the counter were very kind and accommodating to our requests to "pile on the toppings". At no extra charge too! The jury (ok...me) is still out as far as seating. They really must like to cram people in as the seats are truly midget sized, so bring a butt pad. Otherwise, with a 7200 seating capacity (depending on the event i am sure), I honestly do not think there is a bad seat in the house (viewership wise). The drive...it is what it is. If driving from Denver, forget I-25... its a jam! Take side streets but plan a little time for that adventure. Driving from the burbs, i highly recommmend taking 470. Its worth the $10 (or so). read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Colorado eagles game last night! The events center was super easy to find AND they had free parking! Win win. We were able to park pretty close to the entry, only had to cross the street. There wasn't any wait to get in, someone checked my purse and then I was able to scan my own phone for the tickets to get in. Super simple. One reminder though. Make sure your purse is either a clutch size or have it in a clear bag. Mine was neither, but the purse was small enough for them to let it pass. They had clear bags there too, I believe to give out in case someone needed one. Everything was superrrrr cheap, like 5 dollars for a hot dog, 6 dollars for a slice of pizza, etc. and no lines! Also, every seat is a good seat in that center! We can't wait to go back. read more

They are very subtle and unclear about a clear bag policy. It is not on the ticket information and not easily seen on the website. The claim it's for safety but this is the first ever large stadium or event center I have ever been to that has a policy like this. It's very unsafe to ask your patrons to leave valuables in their car when car break ins are increasing. It's so they can control outside food and drink. They don't proven safety measures (metal detectors) in place for weapons. I won't be coming back here or spending any money at this place. read more

Easy to access to venue from highway or county line road. Parking is free for hockey games (don't know about other events). People in ticket office are friendly. Prices for beer are outrageous so bring in a bottle :) Leaving the venue it gets packed on county line roads going north. Recommend highway when leaving an event as well as taking your time by waiting for everyone else to clear out first. Didn't price out the food or other amenities but I'm sure it's also expensive. For the most part it's a fun venue that has excellent views all the way around. Not a bad seat in the house. So if you're on the edge trying to decide whether to buy a cheaper seat or the more expensive, go with the less expensive. read more

I wanted to rate them higher, but I just can't. It was my first visit and I was not impressed by the experience. Clean facilities, very nice staff, and parking was uneventful. That's where the positives end. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of hiccups that made it feel like a soft opening of a new business. At each point I tried to just brush it off, but it didn't help. It just got worse. 1. Parking attendants giving ppl conflicting information about where to park and walk. 2. Poor signage outside of the main entrance. 3. No differentiation for gen admission v. club/suite lines. Their restaurant opens early for club/suite ticket holders, and the gen admin line was 300+ ppl long. 3. Very nice staff, but again...different answers from different ppl. I called four days prior to the event to make a reservation for the restaurant in their club/suite area, as some venues are pickier than others about walk-ins prior to a big event. They told me they weren't taking reservations and I could just go up before the performance. Then I got a generic email a couple days later outlining dining options, with the mention of making a reservation if I wanted. Then on the event day I called in the late afternoon bc I saw the show was sold out, and there was a recorded msg (no one to answer the phone) stating the restaurant could not take any more reservations bc they were full. Oooookay. I found out later they were having "marketing problems" and communication was "not great." Uh-huh. I go in to the restaurant approx. 75min before the show start and the restaurant was busy, but not full. Since I didn't have a reservation, I was put on the wait list, fine. 55min go by, again...not mad bc they were busy. I did get annoyed when 4-5 tables were sat before me...and NONE had reservations and NONE were on the waitlist. They were older pushy couples, so I know that can be a hassle and they basically bullied the hostess to seat them right away. I spoke to the hostess after the last pushy couple and she knew she forgot about me. I finally sat down, but by then I had less than 15min to eat....so I opted for the buffet. Fine. The food was about what I'd expect for a buffet....low-level Vegas quality. Someone came over to apologize for the mix-up, which was appreciated. A few min later a server came by as I motioned I had to go, and she said they'd give me the kids rate for the buffet. I ate 4 shrimp and part of a pork slider before it was time to head to my seat. What a deal. She told me that she could get a manager, as she could tell her offer of charging me for a kid's buffet wasn't okay with me. I waited five minutes and nothing. The restaurant mostly emptied out, a bunch of staff hanging out, but still no manager. She came by again and said to just leave, so I left a tip and left hungry and rather annoyed. This was supposed to be part of the "club" amenities. I've gotten better service at a kid's b'day party at Chuck E Cheese, with a similar quality of food. At least Jim Gaffegan was funny. His opener was solid too. The show started 20min late, so I'm not sure what was going on, though I did see a long winding line outside of the venue when I was walking to my seat. I would NOT recommend the Budweiser Event Center for any kind of higher-end event. It was amateur hour at best. Greeters and support staff wandered around the stage/floor like it was their first night. Once the lights went down for the show...it was like they were doing laps bc they didn't know where to send anyone. No idea which side was seat 1, no idea the temporary seating sections were different than the stadium seating, etc. Thankfully everyone in my row/section got there on time, otherwise it would have been pretty disruptive. The staff was really nice, but it was barely organized chaos. read more

Budweiser new years eve extreme rodeo is worth the price of admission as long as you dont get duped into the VIP ticket. The "buffet" was some chicken fingers, pretzel bites, dry sliders and corn chips with cheap salsa. Seemed like the leftovers from a 5 year olds birthday party. They didnt even keep it out throughout the event, it was cleared just over an hour after the rodeo started. The only beer choices were budlight and shocktop, and they start charging $6 for a beer at 9:30, even though the event wasnt over and it was advertised as free beer during the rodeo in the VIP area. Rodeo was good, but be warned, dont spring for VIP ticket. All seats are pretty equal, so choose the cheapest ones available. read more

Great venue!!! I attended two hockey finals games for the Colorado Eagles vs. Florida Everblades and was very impressed with the arena. Firstly, there was a lot of parking available and at no cost. I've been to many venues where you have to pay $10+ just to park and walk a half of a mile to the doors... not here! Upon entering the arena, there was a decent line to get tickets scanned and go through security, but nothing too long. My favorite part about this arena?? The FOOD options! There are so many varying food and drink options for whatever you are craving. I had a tough time deciding what to eat (I went with the jalapeno pretzel and was not disappointed). Staff was friendly and the fans were kind as well --- even for me as I was cheering for the away team. Not a bad seat in the house & great sound and light show. The only complaint is the traffic leaving the arena after the game. Only one lane out and it was backed up for a bit. Took 30 minutes to even get out of the parking lot. This could use some work either by creating another exit spot or hiring staff to direct traffic. Overall, very happy with the Budweiser Events Center. Will frequent there again, soon. read more

A-OK is a perfect way to describe the Budweiser Event Center, because it has some great things about, and it's got some really meh things about it. First of all, parking. It's interesting that I've read/heard a lot of complaints about the parking at this venue, but to me it was one the easiest experiences I've ever had with it at a big venue. It of course helps that it's out of the city. There are a couple lots, and they're all quite large. Folks will direct you into the lot itself, but won't direct you to your exact spot. This is irritating for some, but I found it refreshing. The entrance to the venue was a mere 2 minute walk from our car, which I really liked. Getting in was odd. Rather than having their outer box window open, you had to get in the massive line going on before you could pick up will call tickets at the box office. Not a major inconvenience, but just kind of odd in my mind. We had seats on the floor (this was for a Darius Rucker concert), which was down from the main entrance. Interestingly, there are only two "levels" in the venue, including the lower level, which I assume is not open for hockey games and other sporting events. Most concessions and everything else is on the main level, but for the concert there were some booths and restrooms below on the floor level. Drink prices are what you'd expect at a place like this-too much. I was also really disappointed with their beer selection. They may have had Fat Tire, but other than that it was cheap/crappy stuff like Coors and Shocktop. If I'm paying lots of money for beer...I want it to be good beer. The plus is that they take cards at every stand, and the staff are very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, this place just isn't set up well to be a concert venue. The floor seats were incredibly cramped-my girlfriend and I kept being pushed forward by people dancing behind us (not their fault) and just felt uncomfortable in general. The acoustics are pretty terrible. It's one of those venues that's just LOUD and it's all a cluttered mix of sound. Vocals get buried so unless you know the song, you have idea what they're singing. Security seemed non-existent. There was a group behind that was getting hammered even before the headliner, with no one in sight to ask them to quiet down. This also begs the question...why don't they cut people off when they've clearly had too much? (The answer is likely money, but still, I feel you have a responsibility...) Overall, I don't think I'll be back for a concert here. I would like to come back for a hockey game, but I would say steer clear for concerts, even if it's an act you'd really like to see. read more

Ive been to this location plenty of times for alot of different events and each time it was pretty much quick and easy to find free parking, The arena itself is big enough to host concerts, sporting events, circuses, and pretty much anything else. The lobby area and hallways are large enough to accommodate large crowds so after an event there is enough room to allow a swift and steady flow of people to exit the building quickly. Compared to the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, this place is alot easier to navigate. read more

We came here for the annual Brewmaster's Dinner, and dined in one of the upstairs suites. I have since learned that it is the home to the Avalanche farm team, and I would have totally dragged everyone to a game if it had been in season. Otherwise the stadium seemed to be a great size of an ECHL game. There was no one else around so we had the run of the stadium to ourselves, and I saw that like in Albany and Charlotte, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I'm sure that from the "nosebleed" seats I'd still be able to read a player's number. The event we had was catered by the Budweiser Center's catering chef. He made some fantastic food, and came back after the meal to see how everyone enjoyed everything. What was really cool was that after being informed that my wife was a vegetarian, he had gone out of his way to prepare her veggie courses to go along with everyone elses. For example, one dish consisted of some chicken in a delicious hot sauce...he gave her a Morning Star patty with the same preparation as the chicken. Then for our duck taco course he went out of his way to prepare a sweet potato/mushroom taco for her. We were really touched by how committed he was to not half-assing her meal simply because she was vegetarian. The stadium was a decent size, had good food and ample parking. I hope next time I'm in town the Eagles are too so I can drag everyone along for some good ol' hockey. read more

The seats are uncomfortable BRING A SEAT PAD YOUR ASS WILL BE IN PAIN, the drinks/food are WAY over-priced, the parking flow usually sucks, and the food is mediocre--they serve Dipping Dots instead of real ice-cream. When we tried to go out to our car to get something we were told we would not be allowed back in. What? All the views are good no matter where you sit. read more

What a versatile venue,been here for many different events. For example hockey, circus,Disney on ice,batman live. Every event is well planned and staffed. I have never had a bad experience at the venue. Even when you call the ticket office you have great service. The last time I was here they had at least 3 events going on one inside,2 out slide at least. The parking attendants were very organized and they had great signs up so you new where to park. The Budweiser Events Center is modern, sized about right, and easy to get in and out of. Whether you're there for an Eagles game or concert, you'll find a range of food vendors. My suggestion is to do a sweep, I think some of the best food is on the side of the main entrance. Check out the bottom-fill containers at one of the stands. Too bad it's Bud Light and not something more substantive. read more

This review is of the staff at will call in the box office. I went in with my son for the hockey game on Friday night. I asked for an 18 dollar ticket. She told me there was one left. I in turn handed my card and signed the receipt. Found out after the game she had purchased my son a 30 dollar ticket. The tickets are not that expensive but we sit in season ticket seats and needed an extra ticket for my son. This was very disappointing from a place I have been watching hockey at since I was a teenager. Will never trust your staff in box office again. read more

Me and my girlfriends saw Justin Moore here. Justin was amazing but the venue was terrible. We paid close to $50 for floor seats. Awesome. Except that anyone who wants to can come and stand in front of us the whole show. Even people who paid $10. And then they get to dance and throw their girlfriend into me the whole show. When we all asked them to move to the back dancing section they ignored us like we weren't even there. This place is a shit show. Had I known a $10 ticket would have got me what a $50 ticket does then I would have saved my money. The venue needs to get its act together and start checking tickets. Traffic direction is completely horrible - they have no idea how to move cars -- all they do is cause you to be stuck in more traffic. What a horrible horrible venue. I went to the Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals game tonight,, and as a GENERALS FAN, I was rooting for my team. But I had memebers of thebproduction STAFF come up to me and tell me to ""tone down"" my cheering for the Generals, the greatest underdog team of all-time. I like an underdog; who doesn't like an underdog??? Have you ever seen Miracle, or Rocky, or RUDY? Everyone roots for the underdog, and to be discouraged--by THE STAFF of all people--was heavily disappointing to say the very least... very little faith in the officiating STAFF, seemed very biased towards the "hometown team" (even though their hometown is 96 miles further from Fort Collins than the Generals hometown of Washington DC),, overwhelming bias on behalf of the audience and officiating staff... let's go GENERALS read more

The venue could be decent. It's a good size, good location. But cellular data from AT&T and Verizon is basically unusable. (Easy to pass the buck on this one, but they should work will cell providers to fix this.) There's a guest WiFi network taunting you, but it's password protected. I wasn't able to find the password anywhere. And I'm told the women's restroom was out of toilet paper. read more

I bought tickets for the Jim Gaffigan show 6 months before this show, so I was pretty excited. When I got to the venue, there was a line so long, we all thought there must have been a mistake. We asked the staff what was going on and they said that they were trying out a new security system, that there were only 2 doors open, but don't worry, they will hold the show for everyone. I would estimate that there were about 500 people in line at least, and it was 7:15. Show started at 7:30. By the time we got in, we heard from one more staff member who assured us they were holding the show. "It would be pretty messed up for them to start the show with this many people waiting", she said. When we got in, the opening act was almost over. By the time we found our seats (which took a staff member a pretty long time to find since it was pitch black in the venue at that point), Jim Gaffigan had already started. The way they set up the venue was also strange. There was a tiny stage in the middle, with four sections of people sitting around it. So, most of the time, you couldn't see Jim's face. They had a screen, so I just felt like I spent a lot of time and money to watch Jim on TV. The acoustics were also messed up, making if very difficult to hear what Jim was saying. Of course, what I could understand was hilarious, but I am pretty bummed by the whole thing. read more

So disappointed! Paid a lot of money as a holiday gift for my family to see Jim Gaffigan (He was excellent) but the venue was kind of a disaster. We arrived on time and sat in almost 45 minutes of undirected traffic to park. The doors were supposed to open at 6:30 but by the time we parked there were Huge lines out every door. We thought there must have been something wrong. We asked a staff member in the parking lot and he said this was NORMAL and that they were not starting the show until everyone got in. When we finally made it into the venue at 8:15 we had missed the opening act and the main show was already underway. There was no one helping us to find our seats in the dark as we had to circle several times to find them, probably disrupting the experiences of the other patrons. There were plenty of others in the same predicament. Leaving was equally disorganized. It is a shame since the venue itself was nice and we had hopes that it would be mellow since it is in a more rural location but it is far easier to go to Denver!!! read more
