It was our first night in Barcelona and we were looking for a good meal to start our Barcelona experience. At Buenos Aires grill we were not disappointed at all! Henry was our waiter and he took very good care of us. He made us feel very welcome and at home. The quality and selection of steak was impressive. I had their filet steak and it was perfect! My wife had the chicken fajitas and my daughter had the full rack of ribs. Everything was delicious! It was a 5 minute walk from where we stayed on Passeig de Gràcia. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Date night with the hubby... Had amazing mouth-watering sirloin steaks grilled to perfection, shared fries and baked potato, both were delicious and seasoned very well. Price was also exceptional! I came here with my wife and seen good reviews on yelp except for one that accused this place for hiring people to post good reviews, after eating here I know now what the guy was talking about. First it took awhile to sit us down, along with taking more time just to take are order, this place only had 2 couples not including us and 3 servers. More people started to come in but went straight to the bar, just a little while later we started to realize the people going to the bar are friends of the servers, 30 minutes go by the people at the bar started to leave hugging and kissing goodbye to the servers and then that's when they decided to serve us. I ordered the lobster bisque soup first and a steak for after. I posted a picture of the soup, I hope nobody ever orders this. Do not let the picture of the lobster fool you! It was not edible, that was a big mistake ordering. When we were getting the steaks the servers didn't know which steak was what.so I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This was our favorite restaurant in Barcelona. We loved it so much we went back for another dinner on our honeymoon. Everybody is very nice and helpful and the service was good. The food was amazing we got empanadas, fillet, and skirt steak (gaucho steak) with French fries and a bake potato the first night. The second night we got empanadas again because they were so good and tuna tartare, and shared the ribeye with fries. Don't forget to ask to see the butcher after dinner. When you come to Barcelona make sure to come to this restaurant. I absolutely had the best steak hear that I've had for the longest time.

I can't comment on the quality of the food as we didn't try any. We left the restaurant after waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated. We were given menus but no one came to take our order or even ask if we wanted a drink. A couple who were seated next to us after we arrived had their drinks ordered and served to them. The service leaves a lot to be desired and I feel annoyed and upset at the way we were treated. Therefore, I would have liked to give them no stars but am unable to post without putting any. read more

He personally made our cocktails to our order and help us choose an amazing wine for our meal. He also shared with us about the other restaurants he owns around the world. I had 200g fillet, and it was great quality meat and very tender. My waiter was engaging and attentive, and looked out for me well. I had to make a Yelp account to express my anger. The people reviewing this place here are paid and liars. Or they're tongues are f**king broken. I ordered an Argentinian sirloin (medium rare) with 3 of my friends. We are of Asian descent. We are also from New York. It takes about an hour after we order until we get our food. That's a little long right? Here's the thing: we were one of three groups in the restaurant, so it's fairly empty. As we wait our hour, more and more people come in and order their food. These new people (+10 groups) receive their full orders (steak) and their appetizers within the 30-45 minute mark of us waiting. This means they get their food in a third of the time that we have, and the people here are possibly racist motherf**kers. FOOD. It's bland. There is no flavor. I don't think they even salted the steak. It's the most bland, tiny, upsetting piece of meat I've ever seen on the biggest plate possible without breaking the laws of physics. I've had Argentinian steak back in New York in several restaurants in several occasions. I guarantee you that this is not Argentinian steak. Had such a delicious meal here! Staff was friendly and although the meal was a bit pricey, it was totally worth it! I had the lunch special with a salad of walnuts and warm goat cheese, ribeye and ice cream! So much food! The lunch special also came wth a glass of water, wine and bread. Exceptional Argentine food. The meat is flown in directly from Argentina, and the preparation is simply perfect. I suggest the Vacio, it's one of the most delicious cuts! For an appetizer the empanadas or the tiradito de salmon are sumptuous. The staff are multilingual and friendly, if you need a suggestion don't be afraid to ask. Great bar and wine list as well. My friend and I dined at the Buenos Aires Grille two weeks ago and had a fabulous meal and very delicious cocktails. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so upbeat and the décor is rather attractive, much more than the "Grille" in the name suggests. We were especially happy with our waiter, Juan Bravo, who knew we were from out of town, and made us feel so right at home for our first night in Barcelona.
