About a year later, I decided to plan a trip to Thailand, Singapore, Jakarta, and Bali and reached out to Qantas to see if they could help. I brought up the incident that happened the yr before and wanted to see what their customer service was like. At first their quote was a bit higher than others I compared them to but after forwarding the other quotes to them, we were able to work out an agreement that saved me a great deal of $$$, and I was able to stay with a travel agency I had already used and felt comfortable with. The Asia trip went perfectly to plan, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. That was almost a yr ago, which means I am about due for yet another international trip. I have always wanted to visit New Zealand, so I already have my eye on Qantas as a strong contender if/when I pull the trigger on visiting there.
