It was back ordered a few times I tried to order it directly online from them so they referred me to check with Dickson BBQ who are located in Toronto. I haven't physically been in their store but looks like they have everything from A-Z concerning bbq/smoking with fair prices paired with fair shipping charges. I ordered the rub and also a butcher paper roll which for the latter I was having a real hard time getting my hands on from either Traeger or their distributor here in Laval, Qc. This place now has a special place in my bbq/smoking book because of their wide brand selection and Canada exclusive Meat Church products. It's really worth checking out their site if you need to expand your horizon in this domain. Above all, what makes them special in my books is their superb customer service. Communication is much easier by email than phone and I was just wowed when they replied to my emails in a short period of time and sometimes late at night. Factory was a little slow in responding. Jay delivered the product as agreed. Needed a couple of the concrete items cut; Jay came out to my work site & cut them for me w/o any problem. The owner is always available to answer questions and even place orders for accessories that aren't currently in stock. Only disappointment is that it's a long drive from Buffalo / suburbs. But if you want a Green Mountain Grill Smoker, there's limited options in the Buffalo area, and this is a great one. If the owner treats his patio / landscape business like he does his grill business I imagine that side of the company is equally great.

What do you mean, you're already hard? Where? I had to fix my porch door, and this place were extremely helpful! Not the cheapest prices in the world, but then nothing is these days. They were reasonably and friendly and I don't really have any negatives whatsoever. Since that job (which was in September), I've recommended Hector's to two or three different people. If you have any home improvement type stuff to do, as much as Home Depot and Loews get all the press, Hector's is my tip for your best bet.

Approximately two weeks ago I placed an order for some items which, to this date had not been delivered. Absolutely not the fault of Dickson's BBQ Center. After several Communications with the delivery company both on my part and on Dickson's part, they personally made sure that not only did I get what I ordered but I got a little more because of the inconvenience caused, and the items are now in my possession. These guys are doing a tremendous job under extremely difficult circumstances and at the very least they deserve a glowing review. Their customer service really is second to none. Great selection, and when they didn't have what I wanted they brought it in for me. You can buy the same equipment at other stores, but this place will make sure you are happy with what you buy, and will take good care of you afterwards. He told me it was not up to code and he said that's why it wasn't working. He worked for about an hour and a half installing a vent for our pump toilet system. I never saw him do anything but install the vent. He never looked at the pump system at all. And obviously that was the problem. But he said it was fixed and I paid well over $600. Being a basement toilet, it wasn't used much, so several days later I discovered it still was not working. I called and they sent the same guy to fix it properly. He couldn't have complained more about actually having to finishing the job this time. He actually said to me, "are you on some kind of medication or something?" blaming me for the job he never fixed the first time. He said that I was to blame for the pipes being clogged. When I asked him, are you saying that I, using it at most three times since you were here, am responsible for clogging the pipes? He paused for about 5 seconds and then said "yes". I know he never really checked things properly the first time, because I was checking on what he was doing. I called and left a message with the owner and of course he couldn't bother to respond to me, a customer... and on top of all else, the plumber started raising his voice at me. He obviously was caught lying regarding even looking for any other reason than the vent issue as to why it wasn't working. When I spoke to the plumbing manager, he told me that they have been in business 100 years? How did that help me?? The guy that was in my house, should not be anywhere near the home owner. I did find someone that fixed it. Will never go near Ed Youngs again.
