Oh yuck. The chicken fried steak was completely inedible.

Totally inedible. Hard pass. The chicken fried steak was absolutely burned. The prime rib was bland and mostly fat. Gross.... Do yourself a favor and keep walking

Wonderful restaurant with good food! Three of us stopped in last Saturday and had lunch here. The atmosphere is very friendly and has tons of items hanging on the walls to look at before your meal arrives. The service was spot on! Nice server with an excellent attitude and very helpful! My wife and daughter had the bbq bacon cheeseburgers and loved them. The sauce they said was fabulous on the perfectly cooked burger! I had the juicy buffalo burger and it was delicious! We also ordered a side of battered onion rings which were so yummy too! Great place to sit back and relax while cruising Deadwood!

Open face roast beef with mashed potatoes. All of this was one serving!

A must try if you are in Deadwood! The food was so delicious and service was great! The country fried steak and open face roast beef were amazing! Portions are huge!

Good service, good food, generous portions and right prices. What's not to like? Try the steak tips! French fries are spot on perfect.

Excellent food! Our wait person was amazing! Provided recommendations for food and drink. He was friendly and personable. There was a man (had a mustache and beard) that ordered other employees around while he chatted. I assumed he was a boss. All I could think was thank goodness I don't work for him. I found out later he was a server. The wait person we had and another server handled it better than I would have. It was clean. It's a restaurant, bar and a casino. Atmosphere was great!

Was just ok. Steak a little dry and lacked flavor. Flies bothered me most of the time. Would of liked a steak elsewhere. Salad was good. Staff great.

Rocky Mountain Oysters; yup, Ken and I will do it. Steve, not so much...

Okay, so any meal that begins with Rocky Mountain Oysters has to be 5-stars, just for the novelty of it. The "oysters" are sliced, marinated, breaded and deep-fried Bull's Testicles.... This isn't my first time at the rodeo, I accidentally had Elk Testicles in Montreal, but, the waiter called it something like "VI-TALit-A." In any case, the Rocky Mountain Oysters were fine, but, not as good as the Fried Avocados. I am going to have to look up the recipe for this, as they were just so delicious! We split both appetizers three ways; and, enjoyed both of them very much. Supper was light, with two of us splitting the BLT and Onion Rings; and, our other dining companion chowing down on the Boss Hog. The BLT was on a nicely toasted bread, with plenty of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and dressed with mayonnaise. The onion rings were outstanding, fried super crispy; and, tender inside. The bbq sandwich looked fine... he doesn't talk much. An Angry Orchard (hard cider) and a Fat Tire (beer) rounded out our orders, with me asking for lemonade. Victoria did a fine job, making sure my drink was never lacking. She was very patient with our ordering process, which was a bit disjointed, and answered all of our questions about the menu items.

Lots of flies which seems like par for Deadwood. The BLT was pathetic and the service was pretty much the same when they did show up.

Large big screen television and a great bathroom make the room complete. Elevators work well and were never over crowded or made for a long wait. Casino is right off the elevator with a great surround bar. Restaurant is outside on the the patio and the chairs are metal and a bit hard to move. Staff were friendly and polite. I do think they need some type of security onsite as all entrances are open to public.

From the moment we sat down, she was cross, abrupt, and acted as though serving us was an inconvenience. She never asked how our meals were, never offered us another beverage, and largely ignored us unless we specifically asked for something. When we did, her attitude made it clear that she considered our requests--and seemingly our presence--to be a bother. Her behavior made both of us feel unwelcome and angry, and we did not enjoy our experience despite having no complaints about the food. I spoke with the manager on duty, who apologized and offered to compensate us in some manner. We declined. We were not looking for anything free and paid for our meal in full. Our complaint was strictly about how we were treated. A frontline employee represents the establishment, and the service we received was unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would recommend choosing another restaurant unless management addresses this problem.
