Disappointed and Frustrated - Proceed with Caution I purchased a handbag from this company believing in their promise to only sell authentic designer pieces. Unfortunately, the bag I received turned out to be a counterfeit. When I contacted them, I was told that they stand behind their team and saw no issues with this bag so I had to pay to have it confirmed as a fake before they would even consider a return. This added unnecessary time, stress, and an out-of-pocket expense--all because they failed to verify the product's authenticity before selling it. Even after I submitted official documentation confirming it was a fake, they said they have to get approval to reimburse me for the authentication fee, which is extremely disappointing. They still stand behind the authenticity of this bag. I'm also waiting for my refund of the bag that they say is with accounting. Had they handled this differently, I wouldn't have put this on review platforms. A company that claims authenticity should take full responsibility when they get it wrong. I have been holding to review this store for about over 8 months now. It is time to post it since I have tried to communicate with them, but there is no communication so far. If you are a consigner trying to sell your items here, please turn around and find other stores/options. There are many better places to go, such as Keeks, and a few others in the DFW area, or even online stores, who provide much better customer services, better communication, and better prices. With their business growing, they have completely changed to be a rude, unorganized, and use all kinds of excuses to cover their messed-up actions. If you consign your stuff here, you never knew when your item would be on the market, where your items would be, and what final price you will get. The business agreement is unclear. Their staff from the owner to the manager to the sells people are incompetent and full of lies. When you have an issue with them, there will be absolutely no response, no solution, no respect, and one-way benefits to them only. Here are examples and details: We have been their loyal customers for over 6 years. Sold over 100 items here. Around 8 months ago. We noticed a few of our items sold way cheaper than the price we agreed on. Let's put that way, some of the prices were ridiculous, I would rather donate to goodwill for tax write-off than TBC sold prices. As their long-term customer, we knew every single store manager worked here. They all knew that they needed to lock in our item price or at least communicate with us before selling our item at a cheaper price. This action will override the contract. I brought attention to the store manager and was told that she had to go through the owner. She promised multiple times that she would get back to me in a week. After maybe 12 weeks, I finally heard back from her, that they won't have the same mistake again. However, they did it again and again and sold our items at the wrong prices many times without proper notice. I asked what they would do, and they said they would compensate the amount into other selling and purchases, which this never happened either. Finally, I was told (her words): they were very busy, short-handed, have too many items in store, and that they were unable to track everything. If I do not like the price they sold, I can take all my items back. At the time, I collected all the items in the store, and there were 6 items left in PHX and LAX locations that I had to wait for. 2 weeks later, I received 2 items back, and then I was told they sold another 2 items, but the last 2 items were sent to my house. First of all, once you terminate the business relationship, I am not ok for you to use my items to make money anymore. Why are you continuing to sell my items? I requested them to donate the profit from the 2 items they were not supposed to sell to the children's hospital ($1500), no response. Secondly, after another 1 month, I was asked to drive to their store to pick up my last items. No one ever shipped items to my house. So that was either miscommunication or completely lying again. They simply can change the contract to benefit them and can breach the verbal contract to a long-term customer with excuses, but they can not fulfill their promises or clean up their mess. Not only the DFW store staff is incompetent, and lies too much, but also other stores too. There was a guy in PHX who once called me and asked to sell my Chanel Jacket for $1200 (agreed on $1900), and gave us our part of the commission of $1000, he said he would just take the lose, and gave us more to satisfy long-term customer. However, later on, we found out that they sold for almost $1700, and when I asked the store owner to add the amount (only $96) to match 65% of the sold price, she completely ignored me. From the owner to the manager to the staff, they will kick you around like a ball and not fix anything. There were many more examples I can list here. Be careful, and save your time, energy, and money to deal with the scam artists here. read more

Terrible customer service. Waited two days before writing the review so I could calm down. Store is supposed to open at noon. Staff did not arrive until 1230. When asked why so late, the reply was things came up. No apology, no I am so sorry to have kept you waiting, how can we help you as quickly as possible. Just something came up. Rude rude rude. This shop was recommended to me when I was in a pinch for a new outfit for an event. They have a wonderful selection of bags and shoes, and plenty of dresses and casual clothes. Unlike other shops in the area that don't care about actually being helpful, the staff was SUPER nice and spent a good amount of time helping me pick dresses/accessories and giving me feedback. Unfortunately, I did not find a dress that worked for me, but I did go home with a great pair of Jimmy Choo heels for a steal of a price! If you are perusing the best of Dallas, TCB is among the most discerning high-end consignment stores in the State. Most of their garments are priced well beyond my vintage/thrift store budget-range. The sales clerk and garment checker/presser seemed very proficient and supportive in helping customers recognize appropriate pieces for their age and style. I stopped by this store and showed the sales people photos of some Giorgio Armani sandals (originally ~$700) I'd never worn to see if they'd take them. They said they would. Later, I went by to drop them off and they refused them due to a minor scuff they'd somehow gotten on the shelf (or probably during a move or something). I would not recommend for consigning, the communication I experienced was awful. I was told by two employees they would consign my items, but the communication went dead after that. One Email said agreement was attached and it was not. I contacted through email , text and social media. Over 20 days later a different person (manager) said they received word from corporate not to take any shoes in . Which I understand if I was a new inquiry, but I had text and email from them saying they would. The experience to consign and communication was not pleasant. I was given the run around. However, I have bought several items and that is timely and professional , of course because they are taking my money. So unless you have a big closet they are not interested. That's what I felt. I have been shopping at this store since it opened. They always have a great selection of Kate Spade dresses that I love. I always go in and ask for everything in my size and end up with a bunch of new items. These dresses often still have the tags on them. I've paid anywhere from $50 to $150 for these $400 dresses! Several people have commented on service. I think it is what it is. Unfortunately there is some Highland Park snootiness. But I always engage with the workers and have a great conversation. They are very helpful and usually help me find items I wouldn't have been patient enough to find myself. I like how clean the store is and how it's not overstuffed with old items. I have been shopping high end consignment for well over a decade, from coast to coast. When I moved to Texas a couple years ago I started shopping at TBC. Their prices are fair and their store is ideal. I realized last week I had an issue with a purchase i made last January. I called and spoke to Claire,Monique and Jessica and between the three of them they were quick the get the issue resolved. All with super friendly demeanors. A friend told me about this place to consign some of my higher end items. They looked at my items for a few minutes and told me they wouldn't be taking any of my items. I'm not a snob (because if I was I would clearly keep these items,) but they wouldn't take a timeless black authentic Gucci handbag with dust cover? They have a nice selection of bags tho but they are a lil over priced. At the prices they are asking I'll just go buy a new one. Shoe selection was ok but again prices kinda high. I just visited your store in Scottsdale and bought those cute Christian Louboutin booties. Your customer service was top notch and I was greeted by all sales associates. The nice lady that sold me the booties suggested I visit the DALLAS TBC store and so I did today but was very underwhelmed. Not one single sales associate greeted us. I had some questions about some of the items and I had to approach the sales associates since no one made an effort to assist me. Store layout is fabulous. You feel like you are walking into a haute couture boutique. Very high end and I found the prices to be rather expensive. No matter where I go I always visit local consignment shops. Im always disappointed when the pricing of items only reflects a marginal discount in comparison to buying new. I've been to the store several times and the story is always the same. Poor customer service, rude staff, overpriced items (compared to RealReal, Ebay, 1 dibs, and Polyvore, ect) My last visit was "The straw that broke the camel's back"........... 1. No one ever said hello or acknowledged me as a customer 2. No one ask me if I needed assistance when looking at the merchandise 3. No one said or ask me would I like to try on the items I was looking at, they just stood there gossiping and ignoring me. 4. No one ever acknowledged me leaving the store with a thank you for coming by or have a nice day. 5. No one returned my phone call and messages that I left regarding the situation of not getting assistance and being treated in an inappropriate manner for a customer. (I left 2 messages for the owner contact me and messages for management to contact me at their convenience) I have several items that I wanted to consign at To Be Continued such as Tom Ford shoes, Tom Ford clothing, Tom Ford handbags, Gucci clothing, ect. All of my items are new and in great condition. I bought them and changed my mind about my choice of fashion. These item would have great pieces for the store and even more couture than what they currently have, but they never bothered to acknowledge me or ask me if I needed assistance. You'll be never be successful by treating people with a "preconceived notion" or not treating people with respect and dignity. I have to give TBC five stars for their presentation and edited collection. Very high end and unique "Fashion" items were plentiful at this store. Designer bags from Chanel, celine, fendi and more were displayed impeccably and made us feel like we were shopping in a high end boutique. Excellent. My only critique was the not so friendly staff. I can get past this, but some cannot. The store needs to know this may be an issue. It seems like a well run brand and boutique, it would be a shame for this to limit their sales or consigners. read more

I would never consign nor buy from here again. I consigned a pair of never worn Stuart Weitzman boots and dropped them off in the original, pristine packaging: box with boots inside wrapped in plastic and tissue paper. After 3 months and the boots didn't sell, I called to pick them up a few days later and was able to sell the boots on eBay. When I went to pick up the boots, I was handed a random black shopping bag with just the boots inside, no packaging or box just the boots themselves. When I asked if they had the box, they said they had thrown the box and all the wrapping away. When picking up the boots, I expected the boots to be as I had originally given. When buying luxury brand items, it is expected and preferred for the items to have their packaging as it shows that they have never been worn or used. I listed the boots on eBay as new with box, and it was extremely disappointing that the store clerk had thrown away all the packaging since it adds value to the product. I had to revise my eBay listing and let the buyer know which was a big hassle. After this experience, I was given the impression that they do not handle their items with the best of care, especially when it comes to products that are being given back to the seller.The staff in this store also came off very pretentious and rude; when I asked about my boots, the woman helping me couldn't have been less interested and seemed like she just wanted me out of there.
