Nothing says a good start to the weekend, like a conveniently located liquor store right by work. Luckily for me, it's right around the corner from where I grew up, so I've stopped here a few times for last-minute bottles for trips or nights out on the town. I most recently needed a flask for a wedding, and they surprising had a few different options for me. The liquor selection is decent, having all of your major brands, jack, jim, patron, grey goose, captain's, among others. I haven't had to stop there for wine, so I've never looked at its selection, but seems pretty decent, based upon its size. The prices you pay are for the convenience, it's no Premiere. It's not outrageous, but I know it's a few dollars more than I should be paying. However every time I've stopped it, it's been the owner working the counter, so I don't feel all that bad paying a little more helping him out.

The staff are friendly, kind, hardworking, and helpful. They always have what I want or something interesting and new to try. Their prices are great too. One of the staff members makes up jokes, writes them out, and leaves them near the register for customers to see. It always makes me happy to see them. No help needed and he left us alone to wander around the store. They have a wide selection of wines. I was surprised to see a hard to find Nighthawk Black Bourban Barrel Aged Bota Box wine. Don't be a wine snob! Bota Box wines are very good, not like the old boxed wines that we used to get for large gatherings.
