I came in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy both inside and out. There's a nice size outdoor seating area but we chose to sit inside at the bar. Our bartender was super friendly and helped us choose what to order since we were stuck between a couple very different items. We each had a blueberry blonde which we loved and shared some Brussels sprouts to start. Those were super delicious I loved the maple sweetness with the salty bacon and blue cheese yum! They brew their own root beer btw that is so dang good, it tastes like a root beer float in full soda form! Next we were torn between the pork tenderloin and the stroganoff but ultimately went with the tenderloin. That was a great choice for us. It wasn't a huge dish but perfect size for us to share and the taste was great. My sister loved the peach sauce on top. The pork was a tiny bit salty but with the sauce and potatoes together everything was perfect. We messaged our Dad who lives nearby and sent him a recommendation to come check this place out. 10 of us got together for lunch at the Buffalo Nickel Brewer and Grill. All of us were disappointed in the quality of the over-priced food. $20 for a small chicken pesto sandwich that was not very good. 5 ordered chicken salad sandwiches and were not impressed with the quality, again, very high price. We only learned recently that the special events room at the Buffalo Nickel Brewery & Grill was transformed into a dining room with an extension completed on the bar. We went with friends for an early Tuesday dinner, and it was simply fantastic. Wonderful service from Tabitha. The menu was excellent, and we understand that they plan to extend the product offering. They have a nice variety of sides that come with the entree. If you only drink Budweiser, then this is not your place. They brew on site some outstanding beers. My dark black beer was wonderful. Wine is not served by the glass, but in small bottles. We enjoyed it so much that we will be back for a dinner on this Saturday. One thing for sure is that they will be packed this summer, thus we will be making a lot of reservations in advance. read more

Service was fine. Went for Friday night fish and chips. I agree with the other reviewer at $18. It was not worth it. 2 average/small size pieces of fish and one piece about the size of my thumb. A lot of heavy duty batter and over fried. This is the first time we have been there. Their menu looks interesting, but we have our concerns because we were not happy with their fish and chips. I look forward to them changing to a more tempura type of cooking their fish and chips and have larger portions. read more

The bar is empty for a reason. Wow, just Wow, I could not give a much worse review. I walked in at about 7:30, was nicely greeted by Tabitha who asked if I wanted something the drink. Since it was a brewery, I asked for two tasters ( pilsner & ale ), ordered a pint of the better, and asked when the kitchen closed, did I need to rush? She went to check and came back with, at 7:45. I asked what time it was, 7:37. So I'd better hurry I suggested. I asked what they made fresh and got a lecture that everything they did was made in house and fresh. I chose the special, smash burger with onion rings as the side. It had my meal in less than 5 minutes, which seems tough to do i if made fresh. I received a luke warm burger, with a cold processed cheese slice, and sauteed onions that were no way kept above needed temperature before serving. That didn't bother me. The check given to me right after didn't bother me, but yes, it would have been nice if I was asked if I would like anything else. At 8 on the dot, music turned off, the fires on the outside patio turned off ( I was at the bar ), and then mopping behind me, that was annoying. I am glad I had cash on me so I could leave it on the bar and walk out. On a plus side, the not hot onion rings were decent. Please do not take that 18.6 % tip as assuming anything was acceptable. But it was the least Tabitha deserved, the two managers rushing to get out made sure I will eat / drink elsewhere. Next time just say, sorry, it's too late, please join us another night if you can make it earlier. read more
