Burnt ends

What a fun little place! If you like wild west history, this place is it. Its half museum for Buffalo Bill Cody who rode the pony express and then started the wild west show with folks like Annie Oakly. We waited a while to sit because there are not a ton of tables, but there was so much to look at. They had memorabilia from Tombstone and Dances with Wolves and a few spots to take pics. I ordered a french dip on rye which gave it a really unique flavor. The meat was sliced thin and tender. The corn chowder was flavorful and hearty. I enjoyed both. Hubby got the wagyu burger with a side of slaw. We both had cocktails from the full bar. Really good all around. Definitely would go back when in town.

Blueberry ale

My girlfriend and I love everything about this restaurant. Food is always good and they have a brewery with a tasting room. The beers are tasty. Staff is friendly and they have outdoor seating.

Brewery beer to go

Had a large group and this place made great accommodations. Wonderful waitress and staff great space and good food. Appetizers came quickly and so did our drinks. Food for 30 people was also very quick and no one was forgotten. For being in a small town this is an awesome spot that has a brewery next door with double the options the have at the restaurant and beer to go which is always a plus. Only thing was my salmon on my salad was maybe 3oz so for a $7 up charge that was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. Definitely coming back next year when we're up here as my wife's filet was cooked perfectly

Cheese curds

The food was really authentic and good we shared some BBQ. Cheese curds were different but good and so were the drinks very good quality. The chocolate cake was a bit dry. Our waitress was very nice and provided excellent service.

Very nice place! Interesting decoration with a lot of artifacts... good food and service: waiter even knew the term "blue" for the cooking. We'll be back!!

2 meat combo with ribs and pulled pork

We have been to the old location before and weren't really impressed. Decided to give this new location a try. First off this new location is beautiful. They spared no expense with the decor. There is also a nice brewery that is associated with this restaurant. Both spots have nice seating outdoors for those beautiful summer nights. The staff here was amazing. We had everything that we needed. Food and drinks came out really quick! My wife and I both tried the smoked pecan old fashioned. It was super sweet, way too sweet for our taste. Not bad after we watered it down so it wasn't so syrupy. As for the food we started with the burnt ends. They were delicious. The bbq sauce was a little sweet but the blue cheese added the perfect amount of tanginess. My wife loved her chicken fried steak. I really enjoyed my ribs.

Pressed chicken strips and cold fries.

Very disappointed ! Save your money and go somewhere else! We should have looked at the reviews before going. After waiting over an hour for our food (waitress stated the printer wasn't working in the kitchen and they did not know we ordered food) We ordered the pulled chicken nachos. Our grandkids ordered the chicken tenders. The pulled chicken nachos were definitely not edible. Extremely cold and the chicken was from a can. I think it was nacho cheese, but it was all curdled. The salsa was so old, it was soured. The tomatoes were old as well. The chicken tenders were extremely cold along with the fries. The chicken tenders were frozen pressed chicken that you buy from Walmart. Definitely not real chicken. Gas station food is better than this place!

Food is good service not so well the front desk people are rude. Love the atmosphere outside especially when they have live music.

While the food is average and everything is pricey for the value, we do love the ambiance and general vibe of this place for a night out.

Our bartender was super friendly and helped us choose what to order since we were stuck between a couple very different items. We each had a blueberry blonde which we loved and shared some Brussels sprouts to start. Those were super delicious I loved the maple sweetness with the salty bacon and blue cheese yum! They brew their own root beer btw that is so dang good, it tastes like a root beer float in full soda form! Next we were torn between the pork tenderloin and the stroganoff but ultimately went with the tenderloin. That was a great choice for us. It wasn't a huge dish but perfect size for us to share and the taste was great. My sister loved the peach sauce on top. The pork was a tiny bit salty but with the sauce and potatoes together everything was perfect. We messaged our Dad who lives nearby and sent him a recommendation to come check this place out. I'd definitely come back next time we're in town, I still need to try the stroganoff!

The creamy queso/ chipotle sauce on top sealed the deal for me. Add a protein and this could easily be a meal for me next time haha! For my entree I ordered the kale salad - I understand why it didn't, but I wish it came mixed. The bowl it came in was difficult to toss around and I kept getting dry kale leaves because of this. Maybe they will mix it if you ask, I'm not sure. :-) The patio is nice and large, and I loved the woodsy feeling throughout the place.

We arrived to see it packed and assumed we'd have a wait, but they got us in right away even as a party of 6. We sat in the bar area which does have tables and the door was open to the gorgeous weather. The overall vibe is very mountain chalet and cute without being cheesy. We were greeted right away and asked about drinks. I had the Mountain Fog hazy IPA and thought it was very good and a nice balance. I rarely order burgers and tend towards the classic but for some reason decided to get the Lakeside burger that has Swiss cheese, mushrooms, AND candied bacon, and it was delicious! The burger itself was juicy and still had some pink, and all the toppings were delicious. I actually finished it! Service was prompt and friendly throughout the night. Everyone in our group really enjoyed this place. If you're in the area, definitely go and get a great beer and a burger!

Read about Atsuo Sakurai's labor of love, his personal love story too, in Smithsonian Magazine 2021* and immediately started to source his high-grade sake but to no avail. Being a sake fan, definitely not an aficionado, I shared what I'd read and my failed quest for Sakurai's USA made product with a relentless foodie friend. It reminded us both of our sake sipping days at the now closed Santa Monica Airport's restaurant, Typhoon **. Christmas gift exchange. I gave my friend sourdough starter. Hey, it was the tail end of the pandemic. My treat was a chilled bottle of Atsuo Sakurai's raw unprocessed, premium Junmai Ginjo sake. We shared, sipped, savored soul soothing elixir at my dining room table. I never did find out how that fine bottle made it there though. Photographed the bottle but self-editing me deleted it, didn't review Arizona Sake either concerned Yelp would 86 both because I didn't visit AZ. May still remove. Read it while it's here...
