Stopped in to Buffalo Wild Wings in Aliso Viejo today for lunch. I had a craving for a burger and my wife had the urge for a chicken sandwich. Sophie was our server and what a wonderful, pleasant and professional person. She was truly fantastic. Unfortunately my wife's chicken sandwich had issues but Nick the manager came to the rescue and saved the day with his grace, generosity and A plus customer service. The ambiance was positive and the TV screens and sporty vibe was terrific. We will definently be back and next time we shall focus on the wings and some brew. Place is packed for US World Cup game. You would figure that if you are streaming this game, you should expect a very large crowd and staff accordingly. One bartender for the entire restaurant/bar area, serving all drinks and running food. Needless to say service sucked. read more

Went here end of march 2026. Staff was short. We had a group of like 7 people. Our waitress took drinks orders and then said she was going on break. We waited a full hour for someone to come to take food orders. We didn't receive any food until after she got back on. Literally no one stepped in to help her tables. We kept trying to flag someone down but even after other servers made eye contact no one came to help us. At some points there were no employees even on the floor. Extremely disappointed with my to-go order tonight. Picked up my order, drove home went to dish up the food and realized over half of my order was missing. Ordered a wing+fries combo with 4 ranch and onion rings with the b-dubs sauce. I was missing my fries, all ranches and the bdubs sauce. Receipt says order was checked by and signed by an employee and all items were crossed off which was clearly not the case. Called the restaurant to tell them I was coming back for my missing items and was never even offered an apology for their mistake. Food was cold by the time I got home because of the employees incompetence. Not only was it cold but the wings were severely overcooked, dry and there was barely any meat on the drumsticks. I worked in the food industry for over 10 years and it is not the customers responsibility to check to make sure all items are in the bag especially when an employee signed the receipt saying they were. We stopped eating here for the longest time because of the price and started making our own wings at home but couldn't be asked to cook tonight and decided to treat ourselves. We get there at 6:35 and it is not ready. 10 minutes go by and my partner is told "A few more minutes..." 10+ more minutes go by and we are handed our food. No explanation or apology for the delay. Hopped in the car and felt that it would be prudent to check to see if everything was there, intact or it was even still hot. It happened that a large side item we ordered was completely missing and so I had to go back in, wait for five minutes at the host desk for someone to come up in order to obtain the missing item. I came to watch the UCLA vs. USC game. While I was there, I ordered the Old Fashioned and a burger with tater tots instead of fries. For what it was, it was really good. I've had their wings before but their tots are where it's at. The burger definitely hit the spot. I asked for grilled onions and it was perfect. The Old Fashioned is served with a Filthy Amarena black cherry! If you didn't know black Amarena cherries are delicious Italian cherries that elevate your cocktails. They were nice enough to give me a few extras because I requested them. The whole orange peel with white pith was a little odd but overall, a good cocktail. Service was great. I'll be honest, the only reason we ate here tonight was because I had a gift card. My last experience here was at a different location 10 years ago, and it was bad, so now I can tell you at least it's consistent. Consistently bad. Probably the worst bar food I've ever had. Yes, I understand most (if not all) of it is frozen, but at the very least it should be served hot. We ordered the Sampler platter. I couldn't eat most of it. The boneless wings and mozzarella sticks were cold; nachos were basically chips with a little cheese sauce and white sauce drizzled over them; onion rings were pretty good, but at a sit-down establishment you expect something better than a fast food drive-thru. My son said he prefers McDonald's over this place. I will say our server was very friendly and attentive, which is why I'm giving one star.
