Came here during the World Cup and it turned out to be one of the best places to watch a match. The atmosphere was lively without feeling overcrowded, and there were plenty of TVs from every angle so you never missed a moment of the game. The beer selection was impressive, with lots of choices on tap, and the food was much better than expected for a sports bar. Everything came out quickly even during the busy match hours. The highlight for me was the blueberry beer it was absolutely fantastic. Smooth, refreshing, and packed with just the right amount of blueberry flavor without being overpowering. What a cool spot! I came here for a book event. I am not a drinker so I wasn't sure how I was gonna in the ambiance but it was extremely fun! As you walk in, it looks like your typical sports bar. Open concept, tvs on the wall, its perfect for larger groups. The event I attended was held in their little patio area. Its such a cute area. It also has a tv, a ton of tables. Also great for large groups. This joint is owned by locals and they support locals too. Most of their beers are by local brewers, although they also have a couple national ones. They are all for supporting local businesses. The food was delicious! You order and pay through your phone. I had their potato taquitos and omg they were so good! Totally recommend them. OC LOCAL TAPROOM The taco platter was good, I so wish they had a wing plate tho. The sliders were good, I was a little disappointed that the fried ice cream was not deep fried but was covered in like frosted flake kind of. It was still good though! Decided to meet at this place for an end of the year reunion. Considering we had friends coming from Oceanside, Los Angeles, Long Beach and I.E., we heavily relied on the photos and yelp reviews for which brewery to visit, and thank goodness this place did not dissappoint. We had a few requirements which was a kitchen, family friendly and aesthetically look cool. Yes to all three. I loved the indoor and outdoor setting. The amount of tv's was epic for any game! They had a small grass space for cornhole. They had some games inside too. Best part of this taproom was the ordering! I love that each person was able to order at their convenience with their phone. None of the splitting of the bill hassle. None of the waiting for each person to figure out what they were ordering. We were there for a few hours and everyone was able to order at their pace, several times. They also had heaters outside which was great during these cold nights. Food was great. Several drink options from cocktails to their beers on tap. Staff was so friendly. Honestly, nothing but good things to say about this place. Recently came here for Happy Hour. I had the Peach Seltzer and some tacos. I was actually looking for the Berry Seltzer that I had a few weeks ago but was told by the bar that flavors change frequently and they don't always have the same. There were plenty of beers and alternatives to choose from and I was very surprised to see that this place is a legit sports bar with tvs on both sides for your viewing pleasure. If you want to keep up with football or baseball with the friends and family at least from what I saw last night, it's a great place to go with great weekday deals too. I wanted to take a moment to write our dearest thank you for such an incredible event at OC local Taproom. We celebrated our daughter's first birthday party there Saturday the 17th and it exceeded our expectations. Every single guest told me how incredible the food was, it was truly delicious and love the options! The staff was the star of the show, nearly every time someone had finished their drink, a staff member was asking if they'd like their glass cleared and then shuttling more glasses out for our pitchers. It truly felt like we had our own dedicated team the entire time and I think that is what made all the difference! We wouldn't change a single thing about the event and we're so happy with how everything turned out! I think some of our guests will be new regulars for sure too! Their indoor space is inviting, and their outdoor beer garden space is family friendly and perfect for a daytime or evening hangout. During my last visit, I ordered their 3 street taco plate with achiote chicken. The tacos were topped with pickled red onion and served with ample amounts of Spanish rice and Peruvian beans. During football season, they play multiple games on the indoor TVs, and they even label the particular game under the TV it's being played on. You'll probably be able to watch the game you're looking for. All in all, OC Local is recommended to everyone. read more

I ordered the OC Wedge and my wife went with the bottomless mimosas. Funny enough, after she tried my beer, she liked it more than her own drink. I went up to the bartender to ask if I could switch her mimosa for another OC Wedge and said I was totally fine with paying the difference or taking the loss. But the bartender was super professional and showed true hospitality--he didn't charge us at all. That moment sealed the deal for us. Now it's our favorite craft beer spot! We stop by regularly, especially since it's kid-friendly. I just wish they offered 6-packs to-go -- for now we make do with the 32 oz pours Amazing bar overall.
