I've been to this location five times since moving to Charlotte six months ago so I feel like I've given it a fair shot. Three times for dinner and twice for lunch. It's close and convenient and my wife likes the wings so that brings us back. That said, I have been consistently disappointed. The facility itself has a pretty standard interior for a BWW and the outside just a recent renovation to bring signage up to their current branding. But that's about it when it comes to the positives. The service has been consistently mediocre to poor. Between seeming like an interruption to the staff of an otherwise dead establishment (I genuinely don't know how this location stays in business) and infrequent visits to the table, I just don't feel like a priority as a guest/customer. The food has yet to impress me and I've tried something different on every visit. I always leave feeling disappointed in my meal. I had to have mostly negative feedback but there is just nothing to draw me back other than location and that is quickly fading as I discover other local eateries that outshine BWW by far. It has great appeal as a nearby sports bar but the lacking clientele, meh service, and disappointing food are not enough to pull me back in. I think I'm taking this one out of rotation. I'll start the same way I have in the past, BWW has been my preferred burger spot for a while. I stopped going into the restaurant when they adopted the, no hostess, seat your self, and wait policy. This evening I ordered from door dash and the food was not great. Fries & tatie tots were cold. The burgers were too salty and the buns were soggy. I think it's official, I need a new place. I wouldn't recommend going in person because you'll never get a server, forget a refill, napkins or silverware and now the food is declining! I miss the old BWW where service mattered! Serenity was our server and to be honest after the manager ignored our table to took 3 tables seated after us in front of us I was pretty upset. Serenity was so nice, on point with service and no matter how annoyed or upset I was she still served us within excellent service and really turned our entire experience around. Then we found out she didn't get off until 3am and was going on just a few hours of sleep. This location is very lucky to have her and I will be a repeat customer only because of her. read more

Not my favorite BDubs. It was pretty empty on a Friday night, even with the Stanley Cup Finals on TV. We sat at the bar and were told by the bartender to use the QR code menu to order everything down to the drinks. The site didn't work so the bartender told us to just order from her then (which we should have done first off). Service was really slow despite a relatively empty bar. Drinks were good and food came out fine but it was like pulling teeth trying to get napkins and refills. I'd choose somewhere else for a night out to watch sports. read more

I wasn't expecting a 5 star dining experience coming to a bdubs, but coming to a restaurant you would at least expect decent food and service. The food was nearly inedible, my boyfriend had a possible bug? perhaps in his food (though we couldn't say for sure so take that with a grain of salt). simple sodas took 5 minutes to get, we had to ask for silverware & napkins. My boyfriends food came out long before mine did. The chairs and tables are falling apart. There was a bowl full of water on the ground near our table (for a dog??). The service was less than average and the waitress didn't check on us at all unless it was obvious we wanted something by looking at her. Slow, slow, slow. Over an hour for our order and then we ordered some wings to go. They took another 30 minutes. Seriously, these are fried and sauced wings. The place was busy but not terribly busy. There were open tables, so it wasn't packed. You'll need to bring your patience because it's slow. Service was not great. Our waitress was friendly but she missed a few things. We did not get the celery we ordered with the dine-in wings or with the to go order. She also "upgraded" us to the large on the to go instead of the medium we requested. Because we were finally bored after 90 minutes, I made the mistake of just giving her my credit card so I never did manage to see what we actually paid for. Our waitress also disappeared for a solid 25 minutes. Like, gone. I don't know where she was but she absolutely was not in the dining room or we would have ordered our to go order sooner. The only highlights here is that they will mix wing sauce flavors. With a large, we got four different sauces and three pots of ranch/blue cheese. We were overcharged, we missed stuff, we did not get good service. I will not be back. Not even exaggerating, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Aside from eating a rotten chicken wing that sent me to the bathroom dry heaving for a few minutes, the service was unfortunately as bad as the food. Our server forgot our waters, so i had to go to the bar and ask for some and bring them to my table. When the food came out they forgot to toss my friends naked tenders in garlic parm sauce which he said were dry and "tasted like ass". They forgot a side of fries, which is no big deal...as a server myself, i know that bad service sometimes can happen... The reason i decided to leave a review is because the food made me sick, and sent me to the bathroom. The first 8 wings were fine and tasted alright, but the 9th wing was rotten. Rotten is the only word i can think to describe it. I personally will never trust food from a BWW again. I really hope that their kitchen gets it together. The only positive i can really think of was the communication with the manager was good. He was very willing to listen, and he didn't make me pay for my food. Just overall bad experience and I didn't even dine in. Ordered 50$ of wings, two different MILD flavors. what we got were wings so hot they damn near burned my nose hairs off. Went in person to talk to a manager the next day who was VERY rude. He did eventually agree to replace the wings, and get this- THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Update from my last review. This place/ location is slowly deteriorating. Servers seems to not care. You order drinks and they come after your are halfway though your meals after reminding them like 5 times. Food was cold and in one instance they forgot to add added item and still charged for it. I stopped in for lunch today (Saturday 2-17) and the female bartender has her YOUNG kids (look to be maybe 3 and 6) running around the damn bar area screaming their lungs out. Unfortunately the one star reviews that seem to be a trend for this restaurant are 100% accurate. This restaurant has terribly slow service, it's not clean (napkins, paper and food on the floor and many tables uncleaned) and the customer service isn't great. After being seated on a Tuesday night it took 15 minutes for a server to come to our table we ordered two waters and it took another 20 minutes for her to deliver them. When questioning a couple of the menu items the waitress put the menu in front of my face said look in there and then look distracted like she didn't have time to answer a question. Staying true to the slow service the food came out another 30 minutes later and was wrong. Upon questioning the order she just stood there and kind of looked at us. She offered to take it to the kitchen so they could check but we knew that would take another 20 min and instead being frustrated and ready to go we asked for a box. The waitress brought the bill which was incorrect so we had to deal with that and then when a final receipt was brought she did not provide a pen to sign so we had to track down another employee and ask for one. Looking around, everyone seemed annoyed and hungry. This is by far the worst BWW I have ever been to. Haven't been in almost a year and decided to try it again today. The restaurant was EMPTY on a Saturday afternoon. Should have been a red flag. It took 20 minutes to get our waters. And almost 45 minutes for our food. They were out of the ingredients for the alcoholic drinks I wanted so I told them to forget about it but the server kept pushing. So I asked for a sample of a beer they had. Placed a large order and when I went to pick it up they gave me only half of it, and I didn't realize till I got home. When I called to complain I got the manager on the phone and learned what great customer service looks like talking to Ashlie was great she reassured me that they are placing safeguards to make sure this doesn't happen again and re cooked the food so that I got a fresh hot meal, then threw in a few little goodies for my daughter as well as other things. Decided to stop in for lunch since the parking lot said it would be pretty empty; it was. Despite that, lunch took 50 minutes of my time. The server was sweet, bless her heart, but the restaurant itself seems like it's on the chopping block. The bathrooms are in bad repair, there is a stale smell in the common areas and the overall appearance is gloomy (lights out, lots of wear and tear, etc). The food was just okay. My chicken fingers were bland and they appeared to have been previously frozen cool and serve from a Costco. Burger was average. Chicken sandwich was small. The BBQ sauce was delicious as always. The chain has a great sauce line, but this is the second, and last, that I have visited in two different states that just doesn't feel worth the price. Listen, I like coming here it's small quiet and I'm used to it. The servers, yes, can be rude. However, there's this new girl. Hope or Faith is her name. I honestly don't remember she has some type of boot on her foot, and she is the kindest most attentive soul.
