Why don't they go get the food and show it before you pay?! It took them 35 min to turn out a wilted salad with chicken breast, and a wilted (old, practically inedible) cucumber tomato salad, and fried mushrooms which were raw inside! The batter was dripping out when I bit into them and they were not even cooked. Seriously BWW? Honestly will never eat at this restaurant ever again (anywhere) bc they either don't give you enough or the food is limp and poor quality. This chain restaurant is "meh", nothing exciting for me other than I can get boneless wings, I'm too lazy to pick out the meat in the bone-in wings (don't judge me). We ate outside which was nice because it was quiet, didn't smell bad outside and I was away from all the sport stuff. I'm not a sports person, so I don't go there to watch any games, and the inside of the restaurant smelled the like the bathrooms. Ever since they did the whole "makeover" a couple months ago, the service tanked. I used to enjoy going here for wings on Tuesday nights and now no matter what request you make, chances are it gets ignored. I usually order extra wet when I get dry rub because there's never any on there if you don't and they still ignore it. Not to mention, I ordered a traditional "large (at least 20)" and they didn't go over my order... got in my car, I had 14 wings! Last time I got wings, they were barely cooked! I came here on New Years Eve 2019 for dinner and the service was HORRIBLE!! I had to ask TWICE who my server was. Finally, after 20 minutes, some guy took our order. After staying away for a few years after some really slow service and horrid food, I ventured back to meet my son there in early 2017. I was pleasantly surprised at the attentive service and relatively decent food. Was it a fluke? apparently not after a few more visits I actually like the place when there is not a major game on. too loud when crowded, but mid-week very fine. The patio gets attentive service as well, and is well covered and screened by plantings. Maybe new leaders? becoming my go to place for casual dining with the guys. read more

I've been here several times, but I'm just going to review my most recent experience. I called in and ordered for takeout and they told me 15 minutes (not bad). When I got to the restaurant, I went in. There was no host at the front (which is fine as I was taking out anyways), but also no one at the take out counter. I stood there for about 10 minutes while all these other servers walked by and didn't say a word to me to ask if I had been helped or not. I'm giving this location 3 stars because the food is pretty consistent. When we would eat in, it used to be fine and I would have given it a higher rating. A couple of their servers are rock stars (Ali and her best friend, can't remember her name right now. I'm not sure if either are still there.) Carry out is a different story. I would give carryout a 1 Star. I don't understand why, but they really can't get an order right. I order at least weekly and the sauces are just never correct. Sometimes they short me on fries and only give me 1/3 to 1/2 of the normal amount. Sometimes they totally forget the sauce. They always leave something out. Then when you ask them to fix it they have attitudes. Except for one really nice guy that works the front. I wish I knew his name so I could compliment him. He is very good with customer service. When you are paying for takeout, your sauces just shouldn't be a negotiation. Acting offended when a customer asks for the correct sauce just should not be a thing. It's ridiculous. So we've been to this BWW three times, all three times in the evening after 9pm, and two out of the three times we've ordered food. I really want to like the place, being a wing connoisseur and all, but pretty much the only thing good here is the wings and the beer. If that's what you want, then it's OK, otherwise, it sucks. Sucks you say? Well, the two items I've ordered are definitely sub par by any chain restaurant standards. The hamburger was burned, like not a char burger, but a beef biscuit with black bacon. Gross! The chicken salad was served to me on a plastic disposable plate and plastic utensils to eat it with!! I mean, I get it, it's a hang out for all the collage guys to drink beer, but beyond that, it's nothing to write home about. The wait staff has a long way to go too, I understand when they're busy service might be slow, but when they're half empty, service is still pathetic. Every visit I've had to ask for napkins and utensils after receiving my order, and refills on drinks are hit or miss. Again, the place just reminds me of a frat hangout... Loud? Umm, think of a collage basket ball gymnasium. It's pretty hard to carry on a conversation with all the noise. I'm not one for sports bars but the inside looked nice and would definitely be a good place to go for any big games. It was a late afternoon and they were packed. I went to the take out counter and put in a order for 12 honey bbq wings. The girl told me 10 minutes so I went back to Margherita and waited on the pizza order. When it came out I went back to BWW to pick up the wings. When I got home the wings were already stone cold... Not a great first impression, especially considering they were more expensive than the wings offered at just about every other place in the area without any real noticable increase in quality or flavor. Terrible food, incorrect orders, awful service. That sums up my most recent experience here. A bunch of my guy friends have something that we call Man Meal every month where we eat stuff only men would want to eat. Anyway, we decided to come here and venture away from buffets. 7:30 PM on a Thursday night, restaurant wasn't even half full to give you an idea of what the place was like. Our waiter sucked, plain and simple, and he had no excuse because it wasn't crowded.. He was never around to give us any refills for beer or sodas. It took about a half hour for our food to come out, and he messed up one of our friends orders. He had to wait 15 minutes for it to be remade and they didn't even offer to take his meal off of the bill. My meal came out at room temperature, honest to God. It was as if they made my chicken about two hours before my order, and then just tossed it in sauce and brought it to my table. The wings that came out were half the size of normal size chicken wing, almost comical in size. It is very obvious that they are trying to cut costs. The manager was no where in sight until we left. No host was available, the servers had not idea if there were any open tables, employees were hanging out everywhere and standing in front of the store smoking and the place was packed with under aged drinkers! It was a disaster. But I was interested in trying the wings that everybody was raving about, so I came back during lunch on a weekday. This time, there was a very friendly host smiling and greeting us. We sat in the cocktail area and the server arrived quickly. He was friendly and not afraid to talk and show some personality in his service. Their draft beer selection is really nice. There are 20+ beers to choose from. We ordered 18 wings and the Potato Wedges for lunch. The food arrived quickly, although I am not convinced the wings were cooked to order. The sauces tasted good, but the wings themselves are the smallest wings I have ever seen. Easily half the size of what one would consider a large wing. The Potato Wedges had the same problem. They were very small and so was the portion size, and I ordered the basket not the regular. Maybe enough as a side item, not a whole appetizer. The ambiance is perfect for the hard core sports fan, with lots of large flat screen TVs. Family friendly it isn't, as it gets really loud and since there are too many tables it gets a pain to navigate when the place fills up. For an establishment that serves large quantities of beer and spicy food to lots of people, the bathrooms are also extremely undersized. There was a wait during my lunch visit! The place was not crowded at all and we did not experience the service or appetizer problem. Although, S.O. did have to wait 15 minutes for his beer to come from the bar. I was disappointed that this location wasn't as nice as the others I've been too. Plus they don't have the cool triva game machines at the booths. The comment about the staff hanging out where they sell the sauce is true. It does hamper getting in and out of the front door, let alone go powder one's nose. I started w/ 12 wings, hot. S.O. started out with Crispy Southwest Dippers - they looked terrible. He said they were not good at all and wouldn't order them again. Think he was expecting something of a southwest egg roll. A little bit about me, I am the person who tips my hair cutter a 10 on a 15 cut at the hair cuttery, I am the person that likes to slip the person who changes my tires a few bucks. I always leave at least 20% for even average service. When I go to a restaurant I believe the waiter is now working for me, because in a sense they truly are since they only get paid about $2 an hour from the business. So for the patron the waiter is their link to the kitchen and the management. When something isn't right it is up to them to figure out what to do about it. Really poor franchise. First of all I want to say I really enjoy other Buffalo Wild Wings just not this one. It is forever cold in the restaurant and will I was there to watch the big game and spend quite a bit of money. I ordered my first beer and was asked for my id, which is a United Kingdom driving licence. Never before have I been denied a drink in 4 years of living here with it but the way the treated me because of it was awful. I had such high hopes for this location. Having been to several other Buffalo Wild Wings locations in VA and NC I've become a fan and was very excited to see one opening just down the road from my home. So far, I have given them four chances and each time the level of service and quality of food has left a lot to be desired. Our worst experience so far was when I went with a group of seven. To start things off, the waitress had clearly not been trained on the art of beverage service and how to use one of those complex beverage trays since she brought each and every drink out one at a time. This went on throughout the entire night each time we ordered another round and even when we ordered a round of shots. Next comes the food, and one would think that it would have been the order of appetizers I put in before we ordered our meals. But no, not here... Our waitress brings out our food and when I ask her were the appetizer is she explains to me "That's not the way it works here, we put the orders in and bring it out when it is ready" I thought about informing her that I've been to at least 5 other B-Dubs locations and they way it works there is your appetizer comes out before your meals unless you request otherwise, but decided to just cancel my appetizer order. Half of the order that was brought out was screwed up and had to be sent back. Later when she finally brought us our check she informed me that she went ahead and took the appetizer off our bill. Umm, no $hit... As for the food in general here - I've yet to get a single item that was not served any hotter than lukewarm. Looking around at the other tables and the amount of orders that are screwed up and sent back, I would not at all be surprised if those cold wings you were served were returns to the kitchen. And the basket of Buffalo Chips with Cheese should be avoided at all cost, unless you like hot melted cheese to be cold and dried all over your soggy chips by the time it gets to your table. With regards to the service, only once out of the four times has the service not absolutely sucked. Regardless how busy the place is, the wait staff seem to hang out in the area where they sell the sauces causing a bottleneck for those that are trying to enter/exit the place. Also, for the most part once your food comes out - you are on your own. So you may want to consider bringing a signaling device of sorts in case you need a refill, napkins, utensils or anything else that you typically don't have to worry about when going to a restaurant. I'll visit them again and hope turnover and attrition takes its toll on the staff and line managers since I know what this franchise is capable of when in the hands of competent people. But I'm close to writing them off completely and going just a little further down the road to Glory Days. read more

Once a year is enough. I go here every year after dropping the wife off at the all girls Christmas ornament, cookie and fru fru beverage party. Not sure why because the same 2 star experience is always the out come. There are other options but I know there is beer and TV's there and I'm not driving all the way back home to wait for the pick-up call. This place is always LOUD. Inevitably the staff gets your order wrong...not because they forgot but because they can't hear you shouting your order over all the other knuckle heads shouting in this place. They TV's are a mix of fuzzy projection types and some smaller flat panels.The food is overpriced (for what you get) in my opinion and one tends walk away still hungry. I always manage to sit next to some strange dude at the bar that spits on me when he talks and touches me every 2 seconds to emphasize his yawnfest of a story. Bottom line: Next year I'm gonna just park down the street and watch Christmas with the Kranks on my tablet for the 3000th time. read more

I came in here for lunch last Monday. Server seemed very overwhelmed. At first I wasn't sure why they wouldn't schedule enough employees on a holiday. I overheard other employees talking about how people were calling out because someone there had caught covid and they hadn't closed the store to deep clean. It suddenly hit me how disgusting the restaurant was. There were dirty tables everywhere because there wasn't enough time to clean them. Fruit flies swarmed out after the server each time he got a drink. If they don't have time to clean tables, how are the staff supposed to keep their hands clean before they serve me my food? Been coming here on and off since it opened and it's just been getting worse each time. There isn't any competition for a wings place so maybe that's the culprit? The wings are small, usually overcooked and I've had them mix up my orders (sauces). Beer selection is decent but pricey even during HH. The place itself is nice with plenty of seating and I haven't had any problems with service before. So it's a place to go if you don't want to drive far (assuming it's close to you), just want a drink and mediocre (at best) wings. We normally enjoy eating out at Buffalo Wild Wings in general, but on our past 2 visits to this location, the taste & quality of our meal was less than what we had expected. We stopped by for dinner before a show at Jiffy Lube. One visit was on a Weds around 3 PM; the other was on a Saturday around 5 PM. Service was acceptable on this date but the cheese curds were ordered were way too salty. My bf said his buffalo bleu cheese burger was very bland & he couldn't taste the bleu cheese. On our Sat visit, service was definitely much slower although the dining room was not full; only the booths had people in them. The wait time between finishing our appetizer (cheese curds) and receiving our entrees (wrap, salad, and wings) and also at the end of our meal waiting for our check was way too long & unreasonable. At various times during our meal, we would see our server attend to other tables in our section but completely pass our table and we had arrived before the other customers. My bf had to try to signal for her to stop at our table so that we could get our check to leave for the show. As for our food, the boneless wings we ordered arrived dry, clearly a sign they were sitting too long, and we didn't receive both bleu cheese & ranch as we requested. The salad I ordered was coated in dressing that I could barely finish it. Next time, I will need to ask for dressing on the side. The garlic bread with the salad as well as the french fries with my bf's wrap were again way too salty. Both had a salt & pepper seasoning that was overpowering. Too much salt on our food on both our visits. One good thing from our visit was our server's recommendation of adding caramel sauce to the cheese curd appetizer, saying it would taste like funnel. I agree that it did, and I love funnel cake, so I thought it was a great addition. B/c of these 2 disappointing visits in a row and the $60+ we end up spending each time for 2 people, I doubt we will come to this location again, which is a shame b/c we usually like the ambiance & food at BWW and it's a great place to eat before a show at Jiffy Lube, esp when you see other concert-goers there as well. read more

I had some free time on my hands yesterday and decided to stop in for lunch. I sat in the bar area, and within moments my server was there and ready to take care of me. I'm a simple person and don't require much. She checked in on me several times, had a great attitude and smile and made the visit much more pleasant. While visiting my brother in Manassas, this is the only bar I would go to. First off the wings are the best, I am a huge wing fan. We watched the UFC fight which is a great place to watch because there are 20 tv's you can watch it on. My brother told me the place just opened. The manager came through asking how our food was and if there is anything she can get us. I thought that was nice. What I didn't like was the fact that at 12am there was kids still in the restaurant. BWW is not a place to bring your kids to watch a UFC fight and watch you drink beer.
