Didn't realized that my hotel had a restaurant. Staff at the bar are really friendly. The food was amazing, especially their fresh bread! Very chilled environment, with dim lights and something to look at on the walls.

Food (5/5): The food was just amazing. The fries were some of the best I've ever had. I had the biscuits and gravy, which different - a sweet/sour broth with a fried chicken thigh. The biscuit was savory and fluffy. My friend had then avocado toast that came with a side salad. This was good. A solid avocado toast. I also got the bacon scone and it was just amazing. Fluffy and not dry. Service (2/5): I tried to call to make a reservation but the hotel (Hilton Garden inn) put me on hold for over 5 min and never came back. I hung up. They don't have an ability to make reservations on line so we showed up early on a Sunday and there were no spaces. We had to eat in the cafe where the service was slow and the barista forgot the first drink and the second one showed up after a 20 min wait.

The food was overall pretty good. Took a bit to get our food while the restaurant was still pretty empty. The view of the water is nice.

We met our son and his new fiancée here for brunch and for real people don't sleep on this place because it's in the Hilton! The location is easy to find and has ample parking. The space is elegant and well lighted. We were immediately greeted and every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Deviled Eggs and I will be trying to replicate this recipe for the rest of my life! Delicious! Our entrees were the next great thing to happen! The Quiche was superb! We also enjoyed the Salmon Rilletes, the Reuben, Pain Perdu and Simple Breakfast which included Eggs with Home Fries. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Wanted to do a local date night when I stumbled across Red House Tavern. It's something I've passed a million times and never really thought about going to. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The cocktail selection here was great and sort of reminded me restaurants you'd find in DC, rather than suburban Virginia. The service amazing! Our server Lanchi made some great recommendations, such as the squid ink pasta which was a 10/10. My husband really loved the pork belly as well. The lamb chops were great too. And I got this smores dessert with ice cream which was an amazing way to end the meal.

What more can I say about this spot. I stayed at the Hilton attached to this restaurant and this place was so good we went twice in 2 days! Not only was the food amazing but both times we had amazing waiters as well. On to the food Pain Perdu (8/10) a bit sweet but great, Deviled Eggs (7/10), Salmon Rillette (8/10), Fried Chicken Biscuit (9/10). I didn't get a picture of the biscuits and house made jam I ordered on the 2nd day but man were those good! Easy 9/10 It's a shame I don't live closer to this restaurant or I might go weekly!

Expensive, but absolutely delightful. Located inside the Hilton hotel. Setting can be romantic at night as it is dimly lit. Server recommended 2-3 plates per person as they can be quite small and I don't agree. My wife and I split 6 oysters, squid ink pasta, and a burger and we were stuffed. Items are quite expensive, but our server said that the surrounding area is well off so it might explain why. Service is rather quick and efficient when we went. Highly recommend the burger. I never knew homemade English muffins would be perfect on a medium rare burger. The flavors, texture, acid, and mouth feel pair so well. My favorite burger in Virginia

The food was very good and service was nice. Wish the brunch menu had a few more options, but overall, a good selection. Didn't get to try the cocktails this time, but, would love to return again for drinks and dinner.

I was in town, and ever since they opened, I have been wanting to check it out when I visit my daughter. Today, I got my chance. Yelp said that it opened again after lunch at 3. We got there at 3:30 only to find out that happy hour drinks and the happy hour food menu started at 4 and the dinner menu at 5. My daughter and I had not eaten all day, and we were hangry. I ordered a glass of wine and perused the lobby shop where they sell many local products. Finally, 4 hit and boom! I asked our fabulous bartender, Heather, to put in our order. The food arrived, and I have to say it was good! The oysters, oh my! I ate a dozen and could have eaten a dozen more. So good! So fresh and briny. The duck confit poutine was rich, tender, and flavorful. My only negative on this dish was that I found it to be a bit salty. The salmon rillettes is a smoked salmon spread with excellent flavor balance. It's very tasty. The duck confit pastilla is pretty much like a duck confit egg roll. The fig on the plate helped cut the richness of the duck. Wish there was more on the plate. Heather provided us with excellent service, and I can't wait to visit again......after 5.

Housemade Squid Ink Spaghetti with Shrimp

Had the opportunity to check out Red House Tavern for a work lunch. The decor of the is modern and very cozy feel. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Homemade Squid Ink Pasta with Shrimp. I love how flavorful this pasta was, perfect balance of garlicky. The pasta and shrimp was cooked perfectly. A must order! Also had their house frites and it was absolutely delicious, perfect crisp and love the russet style potato. I also ordered their Black Out Cake which is an espresso chocolate cake with Khalua. Definitely not a favorite since I was expecting a more espresso flavor to it. Overall lovely spot, would definitely come back again and try their other menu items.

It's beautifully decorated with an elegant, upscale atmosphere that still feels warm and inviting. The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. Everyone on the staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. We started with the pierogies and the Brussels sprouts appetizers, and both were absolutely delicious. The pierogies were perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and incredibly comforting. The Brussels sprouts were cooked just right with a fantastic balance of crispy texture and savory flavor--they disappeared from the table quickly! Between the beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, and excellent food, Proof delivered a great dining experience. If you're looking for a restaurant in Manassas that's a little more refined while still feeling comfortable and welcoming, this is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back!

Service was pleasant and knowledgeable about most menu items. This is primarily a whiskey bar, so keep that in mind when ordering cocktails. I loved the Citrus Kiss but wasn't a fan of the Blackberry Smash -- not that it was bad, just not my taste, so I passed it to someone else in our group. We shared the monkey bread, fries sampler, steak and cheese dumplings, chicken rigatoni, and salmon caprese. The rigatoni was a hit for one person at the table, but wasn't for me -- so I asked to swap it for the salmon, which was excellent. What earns this place five stars is not the ambiance, though stunning, but it is the service. No pushback, no awkward looks about the swap, and no extra charge. We all make mistakes when ordering, and I genuinely appreciated that the staff handled it graciously without complaint or an added fee. For that reason -- and the quality of the food -- I'll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it.

At first, you'll see what looks like just a pizza shop -- but if you head in and either use the side door or walk through and climb a set of stairs, you'll find the speakeasy upstairs. Very cool vibe: dark, cozy, and date-night ready. Drinks: 4/5 I ordered their take on an Old Fashioned, and it was definitely the highlight of the night but sweeter than I would have liked. They served it over a stamped solid block of ice (a small detail I ). My friend was abstaining from alcohol that night and asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail. To our surprise, they didn't just hand her a lemonade like most places -- they actually made her a crafted virgin drink, which she loved. Food: 3/5 We ordered fries and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The fries turned out to be waffle fries (not mentioned on the menu) and were overly crispy, so not really our favorite. The pizza was fine -- clearly sourced from the shop downstairs -- but it leaned oily and didn't really wow us. Service: 5/5 Pretty standard -- nothing over the top, but not neglectful either. Drinks came out reasonably fast, food followed, and we were checked on enough without it feeling pushy. Vibes: 4/5 The speakeasy itself is definitely the selling point. Dark, intimate, and stylish -- you feel like you've found a little hidden spot. All in all, the cocktails are the reason to come, especially if you're into whiskey. The food was forgettable, but it's convenient that you can order pizza upstairs. We spent about $30-40 for drinks and snacks, which isn't shocking for Old Town. Would I go back? Maybe if I was already in the area, but for a dedicated whiskey night, I'd probably head somewhere else.
